MCI The Doctor's Office Oakville

Dr. V is an excellent doctor! She is caring, responsive and resourceful. And staff at MCI are very friendly and helpful.

The team at MCI Oakville have always been great! Never too much trouble, supportive and I've never known a surgery being available at the hours they provide and with such good walk in times and available slot appointments.

Even at weekends the times are available with short wait times and fantastic support staff.

Wouldn't go anywhere else!

One of the receptionist is EXTREMELY rude!
My appointments are always delayed which I wait for allll the time!

However, today I had to go to from one job to the next and in between I had an appointment. I waited a half hour and asked her about it and she said “ok? So? What do you want me to do” instead of maybe asking a nurse how much longer it would take.
The attitude was horrible!

The nurse coincidentally came and the receptionist then says “this customer has a complaint” I spoke to the nurse she apologized and understood my situation as she related to it and mentioned how behind they were and that she was sorry.
Thank you Nurse, I am not sure of your name but how you dealt with the situation was amazing and I appreciate you for that.

They treat their patients with no empathy i had multiple issues with nurses and it takes so long to even see your own family doctor

I see why this Walk-in has such a low rating. They had signs out at 3: 54 suggesting they were at capacity. 1 Person in the waiting room. It closes m at 5: 00.

We mentioned we had spoken to someone to triage and due to Vision issues we were told to try and see someone today. They told us to come back tomorrow (Sunday) although their signs say “CLOSED”.

Brutal MCI The Doctors Office. Thats a shame and a very poor representation for Oakville and Health Care.

No patient in the waiting area and 1: 00 PM they had maximum capacity of the patients. 4 hours before closing time. Not going back to this clinic.

This is one of the best clinics in our area. Doctors listen and clinic runs on time for appointments. Walk in is also good. Staff team very friendly.

I ended up waiting nearly an hour and there was only one other person in the waiting area. Recommend you avoid at all cost as they genuinely do not care about providing good service to their clients.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Doctor Schroff is the MAN! It feels good to have a Doctor that goes the distance for me. Also want to note that the rest of the staff are totally approachable & friendly!

Absolutely no respect to the clinic timing. Extremely rude behaviour. If u find a 5 star for this kind of service its jus fraud review.

I had a very good experience this Sunday taking my daughter there and saving a lot of time and stress going to the hospital for emergency, clinic is very clean, nurses are very polite and organized, Doctor is very kind and patient, he is an old man with lots of experience and patience and he got his time listening from both me and my daughter and gave a lot of healthy suggestion and home practices to make her feel better, he even asked about the rest of the family members.

Dr. Sanjay Shroff is not respectful. I treated him too respectfully when all initial indicators showed this would not go well. Having womens issues taken care of is nearly impossible, then on top of it, the amount of disdain and dismissiveness directed towards you is unbearable. If this doctor is on shift, I wouldn't bother. Every day will be a bad day for you doctor if you take your day out on patients, its also a waste of both our time. I could tell you were already having a bad day, and taking it out on me at a very vulnerable time.

Other visits with the Doctors at MCI have been helpful, respectful, and productive.

Doctor was impatient rude and did not complete a proper examination. Never coming back here again

Went to this location as it was 15mins away from home and the fact they were open on a Sunday. Arrived there at 4.47pm and the receptionist tells me *we are closed; while online when I checked it read *Open and closing at 5pm. I asked her if she could make an exception and she answered with a no! I mean 15mins drive and the gas to get there just to be told - no! They weren't closed - patients were waiting and a doctor/s was on site. Seriously, worse place ever for wasting your time. FYI please don't check online for their hours: especially if it's urgent and you need to visit on a weekend.

I went there three times and had great experience. Doctors are all very competent and fast and equipped with tests.also very clean.

I went last month because I needed a clearance from a doctor that I am not concussed and can play rugby again, or that if I WAS concussed so that my profs would understand tye situation.

I told the doctor what happened, but told him I had no symptoms even a week after the incident. He refused to listen to me, told me "nope, you're concussed", wouldn't even give me a note saying I was concussed, got someone else to check my blood pressure (I told her what happened and she even said I was fine), and then he proceeded to send me out the door.

Absolute waste of time. More worried about getting patients in and out than actually helping. Would not recommend

I was well aware that I had a UTI which can be quite a serious medical condition if left untreated. Unfortunately my symptoms came at the very inconvenient time on Saturday afternoon. I called this doctors office an hour before close to try to get in (which I am aware is an inconvenience but I was desperate for antibiotics to stop the pain). I was turned away on the phone, I began to cry due to the pain being so serve and part panic. The receptionist told me they are booked up, it’s a Saturday and to go to the hospital.

Afterwards I called the MCI in Mississauga, not only did they welcomed me but they told me they were glad I came after the pain I was experiencing (not something you typically hear from a walk-in clinic) I was so impressed with their service. A little bit of compassion can go far, I was astonished the Oakville location would turn away someone who was clearly so desperate for help. I am so thankful for the Mississauga MGI walkin clinic, I was able to get the antibiotics I required and go forward with my day free of pain and this burden.

Don't waste your time seeing Dr Sanjay Shroff. I've been sick for 2 weeks with a sore throat. Can't talk or function at work. He did the usual throat swab and came back and said if it gets worse and I can't swallow to go to emergency. In my experience and the experience of other Doctors a $10 prescription for a penicillin would have cleared it up. Would have had some relief within 24 hrs. Instead I have to suffer through a few more days and go to my family Doctor or different walk in. Frustrating to say the least.

Had a visit for my painful ear. The receptionist and nurse are polite and normal. However, the doctor is rude and careless. He speaks with heavy ascent which makes the communication very difficult. He even make fun of me not understanding his word, say “your mom did not told you this word? ” What kind of idiot is this? Is this how a doctor should behave? Give one star just for the receptionist and nurse. Go to other clinic if you can.

I called at 13: 20 to check if they are open as their site says they are till 17: 00, but I was told they are not taking more patients. Stupid health system that your toddler has to stay in pain or wait for six hours to be seen at ER in hospital just because he might need antibiotic.

Had a super deep finger cut. The receptionist (Joanne) nurses and doctor are all very efficient and professional. They gave me the stitches as soon as possible. Highly appreciate their help.

My first visit was on December 30th (full working day for the clinic) and even though the receptionist confd walk in consultation will be 125 but they end up charging me $170, reason they consider 30th to be a holiday, asked the receptionist to check with their management, said she did and was asked to charge me 170! Outrageous and the receptionist who’s a new hire is horrible and gives incorrect information! They spent good 15 mins figuring out her mistake with the receipt and no apologies, reason for delay. “ new hire is being trained “ pathetic service!

Our favorite walkin clinic so far, they are very well organized their operator is so understanding, polite and professional, each time we go there is almost no waiting time.

If you call and the receptionist with the arabic accent picks up.save your time and sanity and ask to speak to a different receptionist immediately.
No I'm not racist, I'm actually brown myself, but the arabic receptionist consistently cut me off, mistook information, and made me repeat my information more than 5 times. I called back and asked for a different receptionists where I was helped immediately.

Aside from that. Everything else was great. Doctor was nice and helpful. I was in on a weekday and called beforehand and waited maybe 15 mins or less until the doctor saw me which was nice.

I had taken both my parents for a regular visit. Dr Shroff not only patiently listen to them but also tried his best to communicate with my mom in Hindi. He agreed to became my parent's family doctor and the experience was even better.based on my parents age he suggested various tests, both my parents are extremely happy with the overall experience. I would highly recommend him.

Long wait for a walk-in clinic (after the registration and also in the consultation room). Total wait time almost 2 hours and no one ever picks up the phone for follow up question. Not a friendly vibe from staff.

Unbelievably rude! How can they call this hole a "walk in clinic"? They do not let you walk in, but rather force you to phone first to an unattended number directing you to their website. And to add insult to injury, they have a staff member making sure you dont try to phone them from the hallway. Avoid this place like the plague!

The absolute most worst experience and office I have ever been too in my life. I felt worse leaving then I did coming in. The wait time was ridiculous (3+ hours) just to be put in another room to wait AGAIN for 45 minutes. The doctor did not even take my blood pressure and gave me a 5 minute diagnosis which came with a prescription that did not even ADDRESS MY ISSUES! I went to shoppers and the pharmacist was even shocked. Never again. Go somewhere else and drive the extra 10 minutes if you need a real doctor or a doctor that can actually help.

Don't even try to go on Saturdays or holidays you will find the door closed and nobody will answer. They decide to close early due to patients "high volume"

If minus star is provided, definitely I must give the clinic minus star mark. Dr Mamta Katarey is lack of basic medical knowledge and experience. The reason why this comment here is because I was a doctor in the past, and very aware of my sickness diagnosis should be acute pharyngitis instead of other minor ENI infection. Now my pharyngitis develops to bronchitis, continuously coughed about 2 hours yesterday. Antibiotics should be prescribed as early as possible to avoid worsen infection development untill pneumonia. I visited her twice in 3 days and was rejected to provide antibiotics. Hi Doctor, are u waiting me to sue you if finally pneumonia is developed till I am in ICU? I hope soon you will get the same disease as me to experience the feeling of sore throat like knife cutting in your throat for 2 days and coughing whole days even awaken from night sleeping. Lots of infection discharge from throat/nose and supportive blood test results still can not proof infection is ongoing and getting worse? Lastly WATCH OUT This Doctor if you walk in the clinic, whether you can get the proper and timely diagnosis and treatment is totally based on your luck!

Update：After leaving MCI, immedicately go to nearby Maxcare Medical Center, just 2 minutes away from MCI. Talked to Dr Rahul Khanna about my symptoms, throat checked, 1 minute visiting. Dr Khanna confirmed that infection become severe and right now prescribed antibiotics and Ventolin inhalation for bronchitis. Now my case should be closed as I know the right and good Doctor is found. Dr Mamta Katarey of MCI, you should thank me and Dr Rahul Khanna of Maxcare Medical center. If I had no any medical knowledge, Misdiagnosis and Mistreatment will be occurred. And I might be another person dies of flu of this year due to uncontrolled infection in lung.

Wait time is ridiculous. Felt like I am in emergency room in Oakville hospital.
Do not recommend. Please avoid at any cost.

Just moved to Oakville a month ago and glad the reviews didn’t stop me from going to that walk in clinic on a Sunday. The receptionist was really nice the nurse was lovely and Dr Samir Aziz was really nice as well. Will definitely be going back if I ever need to.

Staff is always friendly with me. Been coming here for 12 years never had a 1star experience. My family doctor here is the best I’ve had, always feel like my issues are taken seriously.

Wait times are the same as every other walk in clinic I’ve had to go to. Not the doctors’ fault they have 3 mothers ahead of you there to make sure their child’s common cold isn’t actually a fatal illness from the 1400’s. You either deal with doctors who take time to listen or the ones that shove painkillers in your face and shoot you out the door.

The wait times are terrible. 2 hours wait each time. At least that is consistent. Only 1 doctor and 1 nurse around. Once they see you level of care is good.

Staff is extremely busy and professional at the same time. I always go to this MCI- Saturday there is only one Doctor. An hour is the usual wait time and I have no problem with that as a walk in. Book a time and you are always called up on your appointment time as scheduled. Good job staff!

Worst experience ever took my 9 months old daughter in.waited 2 hours before dr hamlet saw my daughter.he kept seeing patients that came in after us.so unorganized and unprofessional.guys please do not go here. I would rather go to emergency and get treated better

Doctor rushed. Said I had virus. Then I went to family doctor next day and they found a colitis secondary to boston pizza food

Forgot all the bad reviews. In this world of instant gratification and instant service, people have unobtainable expectations and if you can’t wait more than 10-15 minutes to be looked at; I’m thinking you’ve got some bigger issues at hand.

Dr. Samir Barsoum Aziz missed my 17 year old son's symptoms. Treated him for a stomach alcer. My son had all the typically signs of Type 1 Diabetes, and this Doctor saw him twice within a few days, noticing he had lost a hugh amount of weight, and still didn't request him to get a blood test or Ketone test, or any kind of test at either visit. My son within days of seeing Dr. Samir Barsoum Aziz was rushed to hospital in ambulance, and diagnosised with Type 1 Diabetes. The Doctor should have caught the signs, or at least requested blood tests. Useless Doctor! Avoid this place.

You're terrible, and you discriminate on the basis of gender and race. The Courts should shut you down.

These guys are horrible I had a TERRIBLE experience here. I went with a family member because she was very ill and have been for almost a week. She had symptoms that seemed like she had strep throat so I wanted to go to the dr. To confirm. After getting there we saw a Male Dr. Katary who immediately didnt even do a proper check up as he just went through the motions as I visibly watched him skim thru each procedure. He continued to say there was no way it could be strep throat it was just an minor cold and she would be fine in a week. Didnt even give alternatives. I ended up in an argument because he tried to rush us out the door when I could see that my family was in pain and couldn't even swallow. He then said his credentials out weigh whatever I thought. I couldn't believe he said this so we left. We went to another office and the doctor then confirmed that she did have strep throat and if she waited any longer it would have escalated to pneumonia. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.they are UNPROFESSIONAL and is not the first time me or someone else has had this problem. The reviews dont lie. PLEASE THINK TWICE before putting you or any of your families health in their hands. God bless.

Went in with a terrible flu that has lasted more than a week, was told there is a 3 hour wait got there at 2 pm and closes at 5. I saw the waiting area only had a 3 people and was told others were allowed to register and then come back after. That is very unfair you should have to wait not be allowed to leave and come back.

Receptionist/admin very disorganized, was told earlier on the week that paper work was ready to be picked up. Showed up on Saturday morning and paperwork was misplaced and nowhere to be found. Now I have to make another trip out of my busy schedule which is a great inconvenience and time wasted. Lesson learned, call first. Not impressed!

I visited the clinic this Sunday evening just before the close and the staff was outstanding in accommodating my request to see the doctor. As I was not well, I am very appreciative of the courtesy extende to me. Also, the Doctor Samir Aziz, who saw me was very knowledgeable. He made thorough examination and provided the appropriate medication. He saw me past the clinic closure time for which I am grateful.
