Even though the office is busy, the receptionist are doing a great job. Dr. Mahrous is the best dr. I have seen. She is kind, polite, much understanding for patients and doing fast. No complain.

I've been a regular visitor to their walk-in clinic for over a decade now. Today, I was left speechless and deeply surprised. I've been dealing with a legit health concern and have been eagerly awaiting a referral to a specialist, especially since I no longer have a family doctor.

My interaction with the walk-in clinic doctor was just as I typically engage with others – I tend to be quite expressive. However, his response caught me off guard when he sternly remarked, "Don't speak to me like that; you're mad. " In reality, I wasn't mad at all, so I replied, "That's my way of communicating; I have a strong personality. " I was taken aback when he said, "I have a strong personality too. " This isn't a competition!

Moreover, the health issue I'm facing is particularly concerning for women, as I explained to him. His dismissive response, "I'm not concerned, " left me feeling incredibly uneasy, especially considering that I know other women who have had to undergo organ removal due to the same issue.

People generally only visit a doctor when it's absolutely necessary. Shouldn't doctors uphold a high level of professionalism? Such behavior is unquestionably unacceptable.

I started seeing Dr. Stephanie Grail last March. My fiance had set up the meet & greet appointment and gave my info over the phone, and assured me that she would be my new family doctor. I met with her about 5 different times. On the last visit in August, I made a point of confirming that she was my Family Doctor, which she confirmed. Every visit was pleasant and quick, but she did forget to fax a prescription to my pharmacy. But then when my fiance tried to make an appointment about a month later, she was informed that Dr. Grail had left the clinic. Neither of us received any notice that she would be leaving. Whenever I call, I'm usually on hold until I just give up and get walk-in help from somewhere else. As someone with anxiety surrounding doctors and confusion surrounding the administrative process (which i had discussed at length with Dr. Grail), it was very frustrating to say the least.

Had my first meeting with my new family doctor, Dr Shastri. He is very thorough and quite patient, both attentative and investigative. Cannot ask for better qualities in a medical professional. Thank you!

I wish I could give them 0, The walk in doctor Dr Marcus was so unprofessional and did not care about the patient at all. There was no proper medication or referral given and because he forgot to send the referral he asked the patient to come again during his walk in hours (wait 1-2hrs) and then maybe he will give referral for an allergy test.

There was no help from the MCI clinic after explaining them the situation, all they said that they know Dr Marcus is not the best.
This kind of service is not expected where they know we are in need of help and care. No wonder the reviews of the clinic are so bad.

Worse than 1 star. I waited online for a virtual appointment for OVER 5 HOURS and still didn't see a doctor.
Don't waste your time and go elsewhere.

Highly unprofessional. Took them one week, 3 emails and 2 calls to book an appointment, which they cancelled one day before. Now they have asked us to "try our luck" with a walk in on Sunday. For a serious condition that telehealth asked us to get it checked out immediately.
Useless would be too high a praise for the team.

Made an appointment for 3: 15-3: 30 today, I was told as long as I get there before 4pm a doctor can see me. Made it there for 3: 22 just to get told “oh the doctor have decided to leave”. Seriously? I left work early and rushed over to make it there for a 3: 30 appointment. I am in pain and I need to get looked at and the receptionist that I made an appointment with was aware of my problem and she agreed that I need to be seen IMMEDIATELY!
So disappointed, worst service! What kind of doctor leaves knowing they have an appointment waiting? Very UNPROFESSIONAL!

I had my appointment FOUR DAYS ago and have been calling this office and the pharmacy each day since to see if they’ve faxed my prescription for an antibiotic and they haven’t yet. Now it’s Friday afternoon and they’re closed until Monday and I have to now go to the emergency in order to get a prescription. This is the second time that Dr. Stephanie /her admin have failed to fax my prescription to the pharmacy. The first time they lied repeatedly saying there was a problem with shoppers drugmarts fax machine- which was a complete lie because I was standing in front of the pharmacist while on the phone with them and the pharmacist laughed at the audacity to try and blame them. Yet when I got off the phone with them the fax miraculously just came through? If the fax wasn’t going through do you think that they should have picked up the phone, or was it just not important enough? If they noticed that a fax was not going through you think they would have a sense of urgency to get their patients their prescriptions but it took days to finally get my medication.
They are clearly disorganized and don’t care about their family practice.

Service still has not gotten better. Receptions have a lot of attitude. It's so hard to get a hold of anyone.

The whole experience was very good! Typical clinic, very money minded, nurse even said only one issue per visit! Dr Geoffrey Stevenson was really a pleasant, helpful doctor to see!

Recently had a 15min phone consult with Dr. Ashleigh Higgs for monthly migraines, the recent one of which I had for three days. When I explained that I wanted a blood test for low iron and hormonal imbalances due to family history of certain conditions, I was spoken to condescendingly and dismissed as “this is something all women go through” and it’s “not a big deal”, “everything is fine”. I was then told to just take extra strengths Tylenol and Advil (4 pills at a time) to manage it - this was without asking my weight, height, taking my blood pressure or anything. After further discussion she noted she could “write me a blood test requisition if I really wanted it”, and that her office would follow up with me on that but no one ever did (it’s now been 3 weeks). Don’t know how anyone who 1.dismisses a patients concern, 2. Provides potential dangerous medical advice without doing any basic checks and 3. Doesn’t follow up after saying they would can call themselves a doctor. OHIP probably got billed for a service I never received.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS: Welcome to privatized corporate healthcare where they couldn’t care less. Booked an appointment, then day of received a call to say the doctor may want to leave early so I should come and wait for an opening. Showed up 10 mins early, and checked in. Wait 30 mins (20 mins after my appointment time) at which point I'm told "The doctor has left for the day, we're sorry". What’s the point of booking an appointment if the doctor is just going to leave and ignore his booked patients? Dr. Geoffrey Stevens clearly has no respect for his patients' time. Don't believe me - just read other reviews of this sorry excuse for a professional. Not one positive experience.

The poor nurse who informed me of this had their head hung in shame with a look on their face of "I'm so sorry, I hate working here, you should be so upset, this place is my personal hell, please save me". With a doctor holding such an attitude, I can see why. I was assured a message would be left for the office manager to call me first thing in the AM with an explanation.

Unsurprisingly no call from the office manager with an apology.

The office is seemingly a revolving door of glamorized healthcare with "Dr Slim" cosmetic surgery proudly advertised in their front lobby. The kind of thing you'd find advertised on an infomercial at 3am on your community cable access channel. Ew. All this before even seeing a doctor. Let me be clear, this is horrible service. Avoid at all costs.

Should the office manager call, I'll update accordingly.

I got a referral for an x ray from here and i called 3x times to get the results as the x ray clinic said they would be sending to them if there was anything wrong and they said they didn’t receive anything which meant there was likely nothing wrong. Contacted the xray clinic who told me they sent the results that my hand was broken two weeks ago. Had them resend the results to my family doctor who told me to go the emergency. Had to get more xrays and a cast, needed to make an appointment with the hospitals hand clinic to get my hand re-broken and casted again. I have been in severe pain for weeks and this could have been done weeks ago. Very upset.

Every year, some doctors graduate at the bottom of their class. MCI is where they all congregate to practice. These doctors are indifferent, incompetent, and no better than webMD. No confidence in their assessment.

Dr Stevens is very unprofessional and rude, he cut me off when I tried to ask questions, wasn’t able to explain his diagnosis, and scolded me. What a shame that this man can qualify as a doctor.

I've been coming here for 4 or 5 years and in the last year they have been rude and uncaring.
I've been trying to book an appointment for a week and have spoken to 1 person for 30 seconds.

Unreliable doctors and apointment times - I had an appointment for 1040, waited until 11 until I found a nurse who told me the doctor wasnt even here and there were people ahead of me in line. Staff insisted that she had told me, but it was clearly not well communicated, otherwise I would've left and rescheduled.

I would give zero stars if I could. I called to make a virtual appointment at 8: 52a on Wednesday June 2 and was told by the receptionist that Dr. Stevens would contact me sometime but she wasn't able to provide me with an estimated time. Dr. Stevens called me at 2: 05p and the call lasted 3 minutes. I felt completely rushed from the start. His questions to me were "have you gone for a COVID test", and "so, you want antibiotics? ". I didn't want antibiotics, I wanted a care provider to actually provide care, rather than write a hasty prescription just to get off the call. I asked "so how will I be receiving my requisition (for bloodwork) ? " and he impatiently replied "like I said, someone will be reaching out to you". He had NOT mentioned how I would be getting it, or I wouldn't have asked. It's now almost 8pm the next day and I still have not received a requisition or follow-up call. I am not bothering to call back because I wouldn't want Dr. Stevens to provide my "care" after anyway.

Dr. Pankratieva is the best doctor I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. She is thorough and takes all concerns I have very seriously. Upon diagnosis, she explains the biological processes behind my issues to give me better understanding about my situation, explaining complicated topics in layman's terms.
Additionally, the front desk staff is generally polite.
All in all, Dr. Pankratieva is the only reason why I will commute for an hour rather than attending the local clinics.

Went here for a walk in.

Doctor wrote incorrect quantity on my prescription, so had to go again to get it fixed. I also had to follow up with them for simple things which they should have told me during my visit.

Edit: when I went for a walk in, dr wrote couple of tests for me, one of the tests required a kit which was to be picked from the office and of course no one informed me of that. Upon reaching home I call them and ask for a test kit, the nurse said that they usually mail those and asked me my mailing address and told me to wait 2-3 weeks for it. After waiting for 2 weeks I call them again, but this time they say that I was supposed to pick the test kit during my visit. So I just wasted 2 weeks because the nurse who answered my call gave me misleading info.

I still gotta deal with them as my results will go there too:/

Never encountered such an emotionally volatile and unstable male doctor before. If a camera captured the back and forth dialogue this would probably qualify as emotional abuse directed at the patient. Reminder to doc.your title does not excuse you from showing some basic emotional intelligence and tact.

Front desk staff is very hit or miss with friendliness. I find the clinic very disorganized, as they are unable to send and receive results accurately and efficiently. I have had numerous issues.which has just cost me time and prolonged me finding out what is wrong. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

Clinic without doctors. I waked into this clinic today at 7: 30 right at the opening and was waiting until 8am, still no dr.in the clinic. Dr. Babak Sharifian who suppose to start working this day, just decided not to show up. I had severe pain and no help. I left

I've been to this clinic three times, twice testing positive for a UTI and chronically unable to get this resolved. I just moved to Toronto and am trying to find a doctor here, but in the mean time really need assistance. They doctor said she can't prove its "recurring" because ive only come back testing positive for a UTI two times in 3 weeks and she doesnt have any proof i have had issues before then. She refused to write me a requisition to get blood work done even though i told her about my kidney pain and blood in my urine. Instead, she wrote me a prescription for antibiotics for the 3rd time in two months!

I cannot go through another round of antibiotics, im clearly resistant to them at this point. Completely useless.

I give this clinic 5 stars ans beyond.
I've never had a bad experience here, both with my family doctor or the walk in. Dr. Engelberg is by far the best doctor I have ever had. He always takes the time to address any concerns I have. He goes above and beyond. He is a great listener and sympathetic. The reception staff are friendly.blood lab techs are friendly. I have zero complaints.

Note: my family doctor at this location, is the best doctor I've had and is the only reason I continue to put up with the ridiculous and laughable front desk staff they have at MCI the Doctors Office.

THE WORST i have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Rarely do they actually answer the phone (typically you have to let it ring for 5 minutes on speaker), they are lazy (can't give you the lab number), lacking both common sense and actual knowledge of basic reception skills, and are generally moody and unpleasant if you ever have to unfortunately deal with them face to face. Either they pretend they don't see you, screw up the schedule, have to go away and ask someone about something and are incredibly slow. For a busy place in the concourse of RBC plaza i would seriously reconsider replacing all of the surly and crusty staff at the front desk. Do not dare ask how long the wait might approximately be because you will get gunned down with a death stare and a "I don't know" seething from the foam at their mouths.

I visited this clinic due to swelling and pain in my face (quite noticeable and severe). Dr. Jamal did not so much as even feel the swelling, instead just looking into my ear, proclaimining it looked a bit irritated but was “nothing. ” The swelling was just in response to this “nothing ear infection” that would pass on it’s own. She prescribed ear drops “just in case” to get rid of me and sent me on my way. As it turns out (since I had to go to the hospital later that night as swelling continued) I actually had Sialadenitis, from a very serious infection in my Parotid gland (which the doctor may have noticed had she bothered to feel the swelling). Pain associated with Sialadenitis is severe and required Morphine as a prescription, as well as aggressive antibiotic treatment, and ultrasound to ensure there were no tumors or stones. Ultimately, I recommend this walk in clinic to no one. They do not take your health seriously, and if you have a serious condition, they probably won’t catch it. Go elsewhere.

Do NOT go to this place if you want a real consultation with a doctor. All they care about is the money that goes into their pockets.

I went there when I was feeling very very ill, and naturally, I had few issues that I wanted to discuss with a doctor. They wouldn’t even let me speak about a 2nd issue, which would take less than 5 minutes.

“one issue per visit”, even though I was the only person in the clinic and there was no line. I was so sick even to go back to the reception desk and report another issue.
They just want you to come for one issue at a time so they can claim more visits from the government and therefore make more money for their clinic.
The customer service was horrible, and I couldn’t wait to be out of that place. I’m really upset I chose this location to go to, because I didn’t receive a good care.

Clearly, the doctors that work there don’t have sufficient knowledge, and have NO empathy for you. They just want your money. Don’t go here if you want a REAL care from a REAL doctor who’s passion is their work & to heal you, and not their money.

I was in and out in under an hour (on a Monday afternoon) and was taken seriously. My concussion is leaving a few memory gaps but the doctor's name started with an S or an S sound. She was very professional and considerate. The advice she gave me to help treat my mild concussion was useful.

We have been there many times but recently we have met with Dr. Zachary where we had a very bad experience. I've accompanied my wife who was suffering intense stomac pain- we waited for 30 mins appx and got that Dr. Zachary who came in and took a consultation of apprx 10mins, however we were surprised that out of this 10mins, 9mins he took only for typing on his computer and 1 min only to consult my wife and at the end he said" I don't see anything wrong even she was having severe stomac pain. When we asked for some medication he said take some advil! That's it! What kind of consultation is this, we don't have our ohip card and had to pay cash for the doctor fees and at the end to receive a service like this!

One of the worst and humiliating experiences I have ever had. It is uncommon for me to write a review, however, after meeting Dr. Hammouda at MCI, I felt I had a duty to notify future patients. I was scheduled for a hematology appointment. He was very condescending and became very agitated if I accidentally provided more information than he wanted when asked about my previous history. Some of his comments were very inappropriate as well. The most surprising and concerning moment of this appointment was when he refused to contact my doctor for my most recent blood results after he had noticed that my doctor's office had accidentally sent very old blood results. Once I explained my concern to him, he became very angry and indicated that he didn't want to argue. I also asked him what I should be doing to increase my iron levels and he blatantly responded that he cannot tell me what to eat or do. I have never been so frustrated in my life. My advice would be please do your research before you pay a visit, especially if you're a woman because he might treat you as if you do not know anything.

Horrendous experience. I saw two doctors (one initially and one for a follow up visit). Both were EXTREMELY dismissive - and to add, I was misdiagnosed by BOTH and treated with medication for something that I didn't even have. If they would've taken about 5 minutes more, they would've known that. Im giving 1 star because I have no choice but to select one - if I had it my way I wouldn't select any.

Ok so i don’t have OHIP and am used to paying for the doctors as i am a recent imergrant. So most places are 50- 75 dollars which is ok. This place tried to charge me 110 dollars (a number which she seemed to just pull from her head) for the doctors. Probably because it’s in a nice area or whatever. They also didn’t have a clue how to deal with me as a walk in as I don’t have OHIP, the lady had to go away for like 10 minutes with my passport, just to Confirm that. I think this is completely ridiculous.

1 star short because of one of the worst doctors I've met - Dr Myers. I did a walk-in and got her as the doctor. After explaining my stomach problem (which I just found out might be gastritis), Dr Myers annoyed response to me was "so.what makes you think this is an emergency? "
I'm in pain when I ate anything for 4 days straight, and I did a walk-in. I didn't say it was an emergency, but I didn't want to rely on my immune system either since it failed me for 4 days, so does she expect me to pretend that this was my imagination? She finally precribed a medication to me and shoo-ed me out as fast as she could.

Most of my experience with the receptionists and nurses were great and I love all of the other doctors I had - Dr Lam, Dr Stevens, and Dr Pankratieva, but I agree with one of the users - one of the woman nurse with glasses is rude af. She mis-pronounced my name, called out only once and then got annoyed that nobody answered. I walked up to her and asked if she called my name out, she rolled her eyes and said "Oh. Right. I just don't know how to say your name. Follow me".
Where's the Canadian "Sorry" and "How's your day? "?

Very convenient location if you work in the PATH.very short waiting time if you go to walk-in early morning.nice receptionist and nurse.however, I went there twice, the only advice I received from the doctor is to "follow up with your family doctor". No further check up, no second opinion at all.

Dr. Higgs is very nice and helpful. Staff are nice and even called me later after I left because they found a sweater and thought I might forget to take it. I went around 8am so waiting time is really short.

Horrible customer service provided by a nurse. What a shame! The doctors are actually very good. There is a nurse, latino I believe (not that it's important) and wear glasses, who is the most rude and emotionless health professional I've seen in my life. I went to the walking clinic on September 4th at 6: 30pm. She prepared me before the doctor came into the room. She seemed bored, unfriendly… was giving attitude for no reason. I do understand that, as a nurse, she may be working long hours but WE ALL DO! She should definitely be coached for her poor customer service skills! She ruins the customer experience.
It's too bad 0 rating is not an option on here.
