My family doctor is Dr Bala who is the best family doctor I ever had. She is patient, knowledgeable, thoughtful, efficient and friendly. The clinic has excellent environment and staff, waiting time is minimal. It is a wonderful clinic!

My first visit with Dr. Wang, was so busy. He is really the best Dermatologist Doctor I ever had.
I had my allergies since 2019, I had hard time walking because my feet were swollen and cracked, I could hardly walk.
I been to 3 Dermatologists, before Dr. Wang. None of the 3 were able to help me.
Dr Wang was my 4th Dermatologist and the best! His first sets of prescription for me woks right away, Thank God! 2nd visit not busy, it was quick.
The place is nice, very clean and there are chairs you can sit while waiting.

Friendly receptionist, but terribly short of medical staff. The minimum wait time is always over an hour.

Dr. Iskander is the best doctor. Her expertise, knowledge and caring for her patients is beyond exceptional. Thank you!

Add 1hr to your given appointment time and that is the time you should aim to be there by. Treat others how they treat you.

Horrible experience the receipost was so rude. I would definitely not recomend this walk in clinic.

I went there on Tuesday March 21st 2023 at around 12Pm I received a rapid strep test with a regular strep test also. The rapid strep was negative but the regular one turned out to be positive. I got the results on March 24th at 3: 45pm I was told I was positive by one of your receptionist who proceeded to tell me to come anytime now and said the doctor will be there till 8. I also asked if they can just prescribe medication over the phone because at this point I was worried about my daughter also possibly having it to she’s only 3 years old and as a worried mother my priority was to get her tested but because of the slow results I wanted to take her to a different walk in clinic which I did that day Friday. She was diagnosed with strep throat as well. I called your clinic 2 times asking if there doctor was available to see me I was told yes and that I can come I also asked if the doctor can call me personally to give me the results which aaa refused as a mother with a 3 year old child she was priority I said I had to get her check to they were aware. After my daughters appointment at the children’s walk in clinic we headed over to your clinic we called 10 before getting there I was told the doctor will still see us till at least 7: 45. We showed up around 7: 15 pm
And was refused by two receptionists I was told the doctor can’t see us they saw me
Come in with my young child and partner as a mother I was disgusted beyond belief how they treated me and my child. The receptionist who I don’t know her name she was the dark skin lady she was terribly rude to my daughter which as a mother that’s where I lost it emotionally she said to a 3 year old with so much hatred don’t touch that how do you speak to a 3 year old girl in that tone. It was still 7/15-7: 20 and I was told the doctor still wouldn’t see us. Not only they wasted our time and my small child’s time. I had to sit in a walk in clinic for two hours with my child the next day at a different one because I refuse to go back to that one after such a horrible experience my daughter might have picked up more germs sitting there when the night before we were told we would be seen Multiple times via phone. That dark skin lady is the most rudest cold receptionist I ever dealt with. She has so much Attitude beyond belief and how dare she speak to my 3 year old daughter with such hatred. I will never ever go to this walk in clinic even if it was the last one on earth. I’m beyond disgusted with how they treat their patients. I will make sure none of my friends or family ever go through that experience and definitely will be warned not to go back. Not only I had to expose my daughter to more germs because of their lies I dealt with such rude receptionists. I’m not the only one who had such horrible experiences at that clinic especially the two receptionists. They obviously lack empathy and when you verbally hurt my child that’s where you cross the line. I hope she doesn’t work with children because that scares me. Stay away from this place and I will be speaking to the manager of this clinic. I’m embarrassed they Continue to let those receptionists to work in the public with people and children. Wish I can give this place a 0 especially how you treated my young child that is no way to talk to a child. Hire better staff that is no way to speak to patients. Disgusted beyond belief! Stay away from this clinic they lack empathy beyond belief especially for children DISGUSTIng as a mother with a young child. Don’t bring your children here or loved ones!

The phone prompt is extremely hard to get through. You have to press the numbers 5-6 times in a row to finally get through. Very frustrating.

The website said wait time was 30min. However I waited for over 2 hours and for the first hour no one was called, everyone waited in the lobby. I went to washroom and passed by all the patient rooms and found them all empty. Seemed like no doctor was on site. When they finally started to call people, the order was arbitrary. When I questioned the front desk, she told me they were all here earlier before me which I really doubted because I watched some of them filled the patient form while I was waiting!
Totally not recommend this clinic but I guess that’s why they only take desperate walk in patients.

I brought my parents in today just a little over half hour before they close but the receptionist accepted us. Dr. Judy is super nice and knowledgeable. It took a bit longer due to our complex situation. She along with Nurse Anna and the receptionist stayed more than half hour after the office close.
I was a bit hesitant before I walked in since some negative review, but it ended up the best experience I had with walk-in clinic. Definitely recommend.

I’m giving this place a 5 star. I came in this evening for a checkup. There were a few people in front of me but it moved quickly. The receptionist was very friendly. The nurse was really nice as was the doctor on call tonight. I like that the bathroom is very spacious as are the rooms. Very clean place and has their own pharmacy so you don’t have to go outside. This was my first time here and had a very pleasant experience.

If I could give no star I would if it was an option. Was referred by my family doctor. Waited for 4 months and they did not reach out for an appointment. I had to call them and my family doctor to book an appointment. Also called them and no one ever picks up. Worst clinic I’ve ever experience. If you have an emergency and need a clinic, consider another.

This is a low quality clinic. I’m not sure what the doctors name was but he was an old white male. I told him I had severe restless legs and he said he won’t prescribe me anything. He went on to ask me a bunch of personal questions about my life that had nothing to do with my medical concern. Bad doctor. 0/10 never again.

I was told to come around 1pm for an immunisation shot over the phone, I arrived on time and waited 1hour15min to be told that the vaccine is not offered in the location, it needs to be perscribed and bought from the pharmacy.

Absolutely terrible service. The front desk worker is the most incapable, rude, and lazy woman I have ever come across. The doctor I saw was flippant and dismissive. The only person there that showed the slightest hint of humanity was the nursing student.

I made an appointment, but had to wait over an hour and half just for a requisition form. I know clinics are notorious for waiting times and if this was the only issue I would not bother leaving a review. But this is an infuriating establishment that fails at every conceivable level.

I came to the office to see a doctor, and this was the first time I visit this clinic. I was very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The clinic looks beautiful and clean. Staff are very nice and the atmosphere was positive and welcoming. The doctor was very kind, competent and professional. Overall, the experience was great. Thank you for your hard and special thanks to the Manager who runs this clinic in a very professional manner!

I’ve been a patient of this clinic for almost 6 years now and they have always helped me out in every situation. I moved from a different province and managed to find a family doctor here, she is amazing. The receptionists are always nice and helpful as well. The only thing that needs to be updated is for them to have a system to email out your requisition forms, but they still are able to fax it for you anywhere.

Dr. Miriam Iskandar was my doctor for years, I went to her with some rash type issues and was not offered ointment, instead I was advised that I should have surgery instead. I'm fairly certain she was acting in the good nature and with the goal that I would join her fight against medical injustices around the world and I am happy to have helped her noble cause although I had suffered from the surgical procedures that have lead to depression and anxiety for myself and my loved ones although a small price to pay to save the lives of innocent people.

My first time to see a dermatologist, I was very nervous, but Dr. Wang took care of me and explained to me very patient. Good patient manner and very knowledgeable. Strong recommend!

I have had a negative interaction with Dr Wang – a dermatologist, who is rude, does not practice sensitivity and is not considerate. The doctor has no training in providing client-centred services. I was at my appointment 30 minutes beforehand and was subsequently blamed by Dr. Wang for being "late", when the medical secretary told me to wait outside for my temperature to be taken. Ultimately, the lack of communication within their medical staff and Dr Wang's lack of compassion and condescending demeanour as a healthcare professional will mean that I won't return to this clinic again. Dr. Wang did not make me feel comfortable or heard. He should reconsider his profession of being a doctor.

I highly recommend you seek dermatology services from another clinic.

STAY AWAY! Extremely unprofessional and miserable staff! We waited an hour and didn't even get put on the waiting list. The receptionist is miserable and seems to get some sort of twisted pleasure out of adding to the suffering of already ill people. It's like she relishes in the little ounce of power she has and enjoys making access to healthcare difficult. You will be received with attitude, condescension and very poor care.

This location has the worst and unprofessional receptionist (s) specifically the black woman who always pick up the calls. She's very rude when she approached people even on the phone.

Absolute garbage. Was told 45 minutes, and ultimately waited nearly 3 hours. The receptionists had so much unnecessary attitude, the doctor was indifferent, and the “live wait time” available is literally the approximate time you need to wait to be seen - which was very off. Would prefer a listing of patients so we can see the order, and perhaps just the first name with the last initial for patient confidentiality. I wish I could give this place a negative score.

I visited the clinic on a Saturday morning, right after they opened. The front desk staff were professional and efficient. I was checked-in quickly in less than a minute (this was my second time visiting this clinic, they had the information on file) and waited less than 15 minutes to be called in. The nurse who took the primary information was very polite and professional, and Dr. Girgis was very thorough in his examination and had excellent bedside manner and a great sense of humour. While I certainly do not look forward to being sick any time soon, I would definitely go back, if need be.

MCI Thornhill Square at 300 John street: reliable and diverse in Internal Medicine and specialisations of Neurology, Psychiatry and more. A second floor office location accessible by elevator. Reliable Nearby food and grocery/atm/restaurant. Tons of free parking.

Doctors and nurses; focused and committed to good health and physical well-being. The administrative staff have proven efficiency. The functioning resources are effective. There is a clean, tastefully illuminated and decorated, comfortable and large waiting area, the Thornhill Square location is comfortable and quiet. There is focus on short wait times within 15-45 minute before initial discussion or administration. Further research or paperwork and patient services
are available from the nurse practitioners and polite front desk attendants.

Walk-ins are addressed with the best available practitioner. The approach to long term healthcare is best addressed with multiple visits due to references and to the specialists that work within MCIs the Doctors Office network. Everything is handled as it should be. Documents are sent to appropriate healthcare provider within the MCI network and documentation and forms are transmitted predominantly without error. Five star with ease.

Noted physicians in their respective discipline are focused. MCI clinic has multiple locations across ontario which all offer walk-in and family doctor services. The overall performance in the area of healing and health maintenance are amongst the best in the world. Many thanks to MCI Thornhill Square.

Listed services that are not covered by OHIP and their respective charges are posted on the wall. There is valuable information on the television and currently circulating posters that support national health; pamphlets are available for your consideration. For those with more than one health concern it is best addressed one per visit; though sufficient care should be taken to schedule full physical exams every 1-3 years for a total health coverage, comfort & longevity. This dedicated doctors office includes on site resources of skilled nurses for on-site health services and administration of flu shots and immunizations like tetanus and travel inoculations.

This is the worst walk in clinic I have ever seen. I am a practicing physician in Ontario and cannot believe the level of incompetence and indifference demonstrated at this facility. I came in for simple administrative bloodwork and the amount of run-around, unacceptable delays and lack of attention to detail was amazing.

Was in a few days ago saw Dr. Iskander a lovely person and doctor my family doctor is Dr. Girgis again a wonderful doctor. I wanted a doctors note as i have a medical issue involving great pain Dr. Girgis is aware. We asked Dr. Isklander another doctor we know and really like and respect to write me a note to send in to my insurance company as i want to get a mobility scooter as i have not driven or worked in months. Dr Iskander was kind enough to so but i dont think the letter will be strong enough but that is a seperate issue i will deal with later. Anyway my issue is that when my wife and i were leaving i was charged $35.00 i felt as a senior in pain this was not right as i am a regular client there as well as my wife. It was just so petty. I still like the office and the staff very much so i wont rate the office poorly have a great day.

Caring physicians should be admired but what about those who, for any reasons, do not practice professionally and put the lives of people who trust them at risk.
2 days ago I took my 11 year old daughter to this clinic. She had high fever, sever sore throat and some other obvious symptoms.
Ms. Eskandar just did a swab and said it is only virus. No medication, no samples for lab and no thorough examination.
The same day we visited Sickkids and they kept us for 6 hours worried about my daughter's high heart rate which was way above 100.
To have a third opinion, we visited our family MD who was fortunately back to the clinic. She found an infection via blood test and was surprised to know that Sickkids attributed high heart rate to dehydration but no IV or immediate blood sample.
I am really disappointed with some unprofessional physicians such as Ms. Eskandar at this clinic.

MAJOR SUE COMING YOUR WAY WITH COURT ORDER PAPERS FOR ONE OF YOUR DOCTORS WHO SUSPENDED MY DAUGHTERS LICENSES, OVER HER GETTING A CHECK UP WHEN SHE HAD A FLU AND ALL SHE TOLD HER WAS SHE USE TO HAVE SEZIURES WHEN SHE WAS A KID AND HASNT HAD ONE FOR A DECADE BECAUSE IT WAS RESOLVED WITH HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS SPECIALIST FROM WHEN SHE WAS A KID, ANYWAYS. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS TO BE GOING AND PUTTING A FORM IN TO GET MY DAUGHTERS DRIVERS LICENSE SUSPENDED FROM 2017! NO WALK IN CLINIC IS ALOUD TO DO THAT ONLY THE FAMILY DOCTOR IS WHICH HE KNOWS MY DAUGHTER IS WELL ENOUGH FINE TO CARRY LICENSE AND DRIVE A CAR. Keep in mind I went early in the morning and in the middle of the week but I will say the office was clean, efficient and I was in/out in 15 minutes. This never happens!

Have taken my child here on a few occasions when it was too late to go to her pediatrician and was always happy with the care. The nurses were efficient and kind and the drs were knowledgeable and helpful.

There are very good and expert doctors working here.
Asiyeh and Shiva are very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. If you want a painless blood-taking ask for Shiva.
Analin is also very nice and skillful.
I have heard many positive feedback about Dr Iskandar.
This office is even open on Sundays. The rooms are clean.

A couple of thoughts.
1) the waiting room could use some music or something. There is a TV but it's all ads and gimmicks and no volume. And for the record, the answer isn't turning up the ads on the TV.
2) restaurants have a buzzer system for wait times. You either give your # and they text you and you have 20 minutes to get back or you get an actual buzzer. You should consider this, there is groceries, banks, etc in the building. I could do other things while I wait 90+ minutes
3) I know some people have appointments, you should have a different waiting area or signs about that, it's frustrating to wait 90 minutes and watch people walk into the clinic and right into seeing a doctor
4) I've been to another MCI and this clinic has none of my personal info. That seems weird and inconvenient in a time with internet and cloud databases.

I haven't had any of the problems I've read about from other people. I also haven't seen a doctor yet but the bar is set low for walk in clinics and it wouldn't take much to be a much more pleasant experience

First off - A cockroach climbed on my leg in the waiting room. A COCKROACH.

Then I was told to “drink more water” after explaining that I’ve been sick for 2 weeks.

The doctor also didn’t tell me their name and only spent 3 minutes with me then also made me feel very uncomfortable that I left crying.

I’m never coming back or recommending this place to anyone except maybe the health Board for their pest issue.

The receptionist was very rude. I had to wait for over an hour for a doctor to see me. I did not see any special optic wipes in the rooms for disinfecting TB and any other pathogens. Public health will not be too happy about this

My rating is mainly for the front desk and their customer service. Having appointment and waiting more than 30 minutes to see the specialist is not acceptable.
My previous visit was not in their system at all at the time of my appointment! Luckily I had their business card with my time and date written on it. So they had to accommodate me after almost two (2) hours of waiting. However, physicians I met were professional and knowledgeable. She (the doctor) was the person to apologize for the front desk mess by asking me to fill out the form of new patients while I am in my third visit! And this happened although I was indicating the receptionist that I completed these forms and you just need to pull out my test results for the doctor review. Nobody listened!

Took my daughter here after work. We were literally in and out in 20 minutes. Friendly staff and quick knowledgeable service.

The doctors are very good; however, the medical staff is by far the worst of the worst.
The front desk ladies all have an attitude; if you call you are left on hold for over 3 minutes (I’ve been left on hold for 30 minutes before) ; and the nurse manager only protects the staff. Don’t bother making a formal complaint unless you want it thrown in the garbage.

The staff should be replaced or retrained. Beyond unacceptable.

The irony is that they have a sign saying “zero tolerance for abusing medical staff. ” and yet I’ve witnessed them yell and be angry with patients more than one occasion.

The service is the worst ever, customer come here with health problems not to deal with incompetent office worker.
My insurance asked me to come here because it has sent my documents to this clinic; once I arrived to this clinic the lady tells me they don't have my documents and that they do not work with fax. I phoned my insurance asking to send my documents again and they say will fax again the documents. Now the lady says they do use fax. What's wrong with them? I don't have my time to play around.

I have visited this walk-in several times and each time found the wait times to be almost nonexistent! I always seem to see the doctor in less than an hour. The clinic location is convenient with plenty of parking and the interior is both clean and newly renovated. I have seen a few different doctors here and all seem to be about the same level of professionalism and helpfulness. Because it is a walk in clinic, I do slightly worry about misdiagnosis but thankfully I haven’t been too ill that I have been too seriously concerned about that.
