Mckab Taxi

Guy on the phone told me 15 mins I waited almost half hour when I called back he rudely told me he had no cabs. No wonder people use Ubers. Because of dispatchers like this guy.

How can you run a taxi service when you don't answer the phone, this is so wrong, maybe need to close up shop

Took a taxi from McKab for the first time tonight and was served by Ryan. I was hesitant at first given the ratings and did try to book with another Taxi service however they were not available at the time I needed a Taxi so I settled for McKab.

Ryan, my driver, was a genuinely nice driver who was both sociable and client-oriented. I can't speak on behalf of the entire staff given this was my first time but know that if you get Ryan then you'll have a pleasant experience. In some ways I'm glad the other Taxi service didn't work out.

The price was also significantly lower than the Uber alternative (it cost less than half the price of an uber and that includes the tip). I absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking for a cab in Georgetown and I look foreword to using them again in the future.

Guy drove way too fast. He got us there in one piece but he nearly hit a motorcyclist almost immediately. He slammed on the breaks so hard i almost went flying because i was still getting my seat belt on.

No wonder Uber runs the taxi world. We tried to pay for this cab and they don’t accept a debit card? Unfortunately we didn’t have cash either but thankfully we had a company credit card to pay. He had to run it through the old impression machine from 30 years ago. Wow. These ancient times and nonsense will make me never call a can again! 7

I used this service a couple of times and been very happy with the service. Yesterday i had to to Orangeville and driver was very prompt and friendly. We enjoy a great conversation very down to. Earth

Driver was very nice, got us home safe and he also found my wallet that I had left in the car. Thank you so much! Would use them again for sure!

Very displeased with McKab taxi. I have been using McKab for 10 years now, and last week the dispatcher decided to send a cab for myself and one other person (who I didn't know). I gave the dispatcher over an hours notice of what time I needed a cab, and they still managed to be late. The fact that they were late is not what has me so angry. After 10 minutes, I called to double check that my ride was on the way, and I was informed the driver would be picking up two of us. This had me absolutely furious! I do not give daily service for 10 years to ride with a stranger. If the dispatcher had said, " Sorry, but we are short drivers and we may be later than expected, or would you mind riding with someone else? " I would have been fine, and would not be so upset. But they insisted on me going with a stranger to drop me off at school and this other person to work. They also proceeded to say, "Are you really going to call another company because you need to ride with someone else? " I have never ever been so disappointed. I'm noticing this company depleting. Many drivers are cranky and have extremely poor hygiene, and I'm beginning to lose my patience with them. I think it's time for a switch to another company.

Me and my sister have both had multiple horrible experiences with this company. I've had cabs late anywhere from 5 mins to an hour and a half which is unacceptable. One of the major experiences I've had that has turned me off from this company was a couple months ago. I called a cab and wasn't made aware of the long wait time on cabs. I ended up waiting at school for 40 mins out front in the rain, then going inside the front entrance, sitting on a bench because i was tired, cold and wet. When i called back about half an hour after i went inside, i was told that the cab had came, saw that no one was there and they left. If i hadn't called them, i wouldn't have know that i wasn't getting a ride. The lady on the phone proceeded to tell me how i should have been waiting outside. She also told me that she went to this school so she knows the front is covered but didn't care to listen when i told her that it was march and freezing outside. I ended up having to take the GO bus home, which was a much better (and cheaper) experience. Overall a terrible company and even the better experiences I've had haven't been more than subpar. I know if the company even bothers to look at this review they will just try and defend themselves, not even acknowledging the fact that this was their fault and they should be held accountable.

If i could give a lower rating i would.previously i have had great experiences with mckab. But a couple of weeks ago i called at 3: 45 to get a car for 4: 15, they said sure no problem. At 4: 20 i called asking where my cab was and the lady was extremely rude saying i have someone coming you just need to be patient.they then showed up at 4: 40, making me 10 minutes late for my job interview. The driver didn’t say anything when i got in the car just drove me to my location, no apology. When i didn’t tip he gave me a rude look and drove off. I can say confidently i will not be riding with mckab again: !
