My experiences have always been good.
Work being done was always completed in the time frame set and quote was always what was said it would be.

An excellent marina, to work with. I brought my boat in for a repair, they had it fixed and running like new. Kind gentlemen working there very easy to talk to.

I rented a pontoon from Mckellar Marina and had a fantastic time out on the lake with my family. Highly recommend them if you need a clean, reliable boat to rent.

Had the fish amd chips, fish was good as always. Fries tasted a little undercooked this time i was there, before they use to have a nice crunch.

Really bad service. Owner tried to scam us while renting a motor. Dont go here. Looks like there making fake accounts for good reviews and to counteract the bad reviews. Saw him take a new motor and rent it out then try to resell it as new after it was returned. The other comments seem to have the same experience. The cory mcarthur review seems pretty suspicious as he's trying to make the other one star comments seem inexperienced or like there not true. We've been boating for decades and own multiple cottages on the lake. I've never experience such unprofessional customer service at a marina. Bunch of hicks trying to rip people off if you ask me.

Left my boat there over three seasons. First year they did repairs that were not authorized. Removed batteries for trawling motor claiming they were too old. Never saw them again. They were told never to do any work without authorization again. That didn't do the trick. Every time there was additional work costing hundreds of dollars performed without my knowledge. In my opinion they are dishonest and scamming people with costly unnecessary repairs and that's assuming they actually replace the parts and do the work they charge for. Avoid this place like fire or pay the consequences. You've been warned.

Amazing service! Had a issue with my seadoo rxpx300 and needed a set of spark plugs. Not only did he bring them in for me within two days but also the price was better then my local dealer! If you own a seadoo or any boat and require anything from parts to service I highly recommend this place! Also the one star reviews I suggest you read them. One guy left a boat three seasons and complains about work being done which is completely ridiculous and the other guy says the lake is deep but in Many spots there are rocks that are very shallow. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did hit a rock.clearly inexperienced boaters complaining about regular stuff

The service was slow for the weekend and it took the guys 2 weeks plus to inspect and do maintenance/repair on my friends 4.5 hp motor. It should not take this long to throw a little motor on the bench and have a look at it. Owner was friendly enough and helped me find a part for my motor. Just that me being the messanger for a friend of mine and not knowing what is happening with the motor for 2 weeks is not well taken by my friend even though the motor was purchased from them few years earlier. Guess the little guys with small motors get put a side while they work on big motors where they can make more coin.

Always take our boat motor in for servicing and storage, never had any problems. Always talk with the owner, very friendly and helpful.

I'm very impressed with the quality of work from McKellar Marine. Having a lot of experience with RVs and service - and not a lot with boats, these guys really know their stuff. The customer service is top of it's game. Really easy to get to location also for hauling my boat. Kudos team!

A great marina to work with. Had a motor job done under the supervision of Carl and his experience and customer service kept my mind at ease throughout the process. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to use there services.

After renting a cottage by parry sound, me and my family rented a 8 horse power motor for a week and a half from here thinking this place wasprofessional and morally there. Well we rented the motor, which they took from the display in the front, even with a 2000 dollar price tag still on it. Kinda suspicious to me but we rented it. The motor was perfect up until a day before we were to return it when it started making really hard puttering noises so we took it back. When my dad returned it to them the guy said it not only had a dent by the propellers which noone could somehow magically see but him, but he also said it didnt work anymore. Blaming us for hitting a rock while driving it. The weird thing is.the cottage we were renting had a extremely deep docking area and we never once took the motor close to any other shores or even remotely close to reeds. Let alone me and my dad having been renting motors for over 20 years and know enough to know when the motor hits a rock or an object. You can friggin feel it. Anyways after my dad argued with one of their employees for practically an hour he said we'd get a call from his boss. We never got a call. Instead the manager came to the cottage we were renting without even calling before hand to threaten us that he was going to sue us and that their business was known all over ontario. Like he was trying to scare us into just paying for a motor that we knew didnt break. To this day we havent heard a thing from him or his lawyer so they obviously tried to scam us. P.s when we tried to even show the one of the employees our boating license when renting he just said "meh were not the government". This place employs scammers. Dont go here.
