Love the auction, but, everything I pick up, wait time is more than half hour. I come from out of town and come the days that are not the day after auction. It's honestly getting frustrating.

They used to be great - they have great products with photos of the item quality you’re getting. However, the wait times are becoming very inconvenient, rarely worth the savings you receive.
Today we have waited an hour to receive a $20 item, gridlocked cars to the road.

I absolutely love this site. The service is good. We haven't had to wait to get our stuff, we always get what we pay for. Thank you McKenzie's

I have had very good experience with getting my stuff at the auctionn Place. It is exactly what it’s supposed to be. And the people are friendly and nice.

Aways got a great deal, descriptions are very accurate so yolu know what you are getting before you bid.

Friendly and courteous service for pick ups whether it’s Scanlon or Paige Street locations.

Excellent service, someone actually will answer telephone and speaks English perfectly. Never a wait time when I pickup. Use this auction frequently.

I love this auction house. They are very clear when saying whether products are new, used or open boxed for most things. Pick up service is fantastic.

Easy to deal with. Reputable auction house. Remember that returned merchandise can sometimes be completely defective. You're taking a risk. McKenzie's usually posts if there is any obvious damage.

McKenzie Auction is the most convenient pick up locations in London at this moment and all staff are very kind. You do not need to wait for an hour for pick up. My first won was 3 years ago and the snow blower is still working great.

Never buy electronics, hotbed for hot products and they do not care about the part they play in trafficking such goods, however indirectly.

Great staff, always a great auction to find something. Been using for many years.

For the most part I have really enjoyed the experience with MckenIes. The last couple of times I have ordered things I have bought 2 things that didn't work. The first thing when I tried to return.by the time they got back to me.they gave me 1 day to return or I couldn't get my full refund. I couldn't get to London that day. Very disappointed

The next item. Didnt work. Is it worth it to try and return? Out 37.50.
Might have to stop buying electronic items.
I do however still like the auction. I just need to be more picky with what I buy.

I am dealing with mckenzie 2 years ago, but recently i have a bad experience from them, they put an item which i spend $200 for it, they dont mentioned as defective in the description, why they dont really described the real condition if this is good or damage? This is sign of misleading for the bidder, you cant even returned the item and they will never refund you.be cautious

Got a Mazda and when went to get it I found engine light are on and told them that wasn't mentioned in description or photos, they said it's not our responsibility! Refused to refund the deposit. Senior lady i think she's the owner was really rode they are just bunch of thieves, save your time and money stay away from junk place

No tech support during auction (tsk, tsk, you are an auction company).
Have had to have multiple items refunded due to misrepresentation or all-out inaccurate postings.
Pickup hours are not convenient.

Have had several bad experiences which I'll elaborate on later in another medium.

Awesome customer service from the head honcho himself. I purchased some large items and didn't realize the ratchet straps were taken out of my truck, he let me borrow some of theirs and helped make sure I had a safe load - which was extra helpful considering I was healing from a broken knee. Thanks ever so much

Quick friendly service, I've gotten some great products from this Auction provider. Items always as described and in wonderful condition. Pick up is quick and easy and I love that they have a variety of payment methods!

How quickly things change; people there get too arrogant and DON'T value their loyal customers. I didn't get a refund for an tv that was missing screws and therefore not complete.its less than a week from date of purchase, item is over $20, and NOT a final sale.they told me to buy some screws and be happy I got a good deal. RUDE! I've returned items there before with no problems but I guess years of loyalty doesn't count for much to MCKENZIE AUCTIONS! I am done with them.

I love this auction house. It is a family run business and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I like that they post photos of the actual product so you can assess the quality of the product. Some auction houses post Amazon pictures of the product and when you pick it up it is damaged or different from the photo. They also have am easy return policy. By far the best auction house in Ontario.

There is something for everyone! It is fun and addictive to view the catalogs, add items to my watch list, then bid. I have purchased many items and have been very happy. It is also easy to return things, never a hassle and always friendly staff.

Mckenzie's Auction in Chatham offers the best service of any online auction I have used. The service is fast and friendly and there are multiple days and hours for pick up. I am always looking forward to the next weekly auction! Thanks for great customer service.

This is by far the best online auction site here in Chatham great prices and selection of merchandise. Only thing I think is they should allow us to bid on London and pick up in Chatham

Super friendly staff. Super easy pickup. 4 stars because I find McKenzie to be the most buyer beware of the auctions. Just be more diligent in checking while there that the item isn’t broken (or gross).

I purchased some stuff. It was Broken clearly. In my next auction pickup I showed them and they said yes its broken BUT we can not refund you because your are more than 7 days late. Not a good auctioneer

I get stuff from mackenzies all the time, great website and great people that work there. It's the only auction site I use

Sold me a pair of earrings that from the picture, looked to be like earrings that you could actually wear. I pick-up the earrings and the moment I take them out of the jewellery box, the gem stone in one of the earrings falls out of the casing. Obviously the auctioneers knew about this issue because they presumably handled the earrings when they took the photo, but they chose not to note the fact one of the earrings was defective, didn't write it anywhere in the description of the lot, and sold it anyway.

When I communicated the issue to them the same day I picked up the lot, they said "No refunds" and told me to go to a jeweller to get the earring fixed. At my cost, of course.

They note in their terms and conditions that they make no guarantee of the item they sell, but there is a difference between an issue they aren't aware of and a very clear case of a defective item they've chosen to sell without telling the buyer "by the way, one of the gems doesn't stay in its casing - good luck! " Very unprofessional.

I do not recommend anyone purchase from this auction. I have had better experiences with other London auctioneers who will refund items that aren't described properly when sold.

I recently discovered McKenzie Associated Auctions. This is the best discovery I have made in a while. There are things auctioned off that I didn't know I needed. The website is extremely easy to use and quite fun. They put a description on the product as well as whether or not the product is brand new used missing a piece broken or any other defect it may have. I know exactly what I'm bidding on. The payments are made by each transfer which makes everything extremely easy. When I pick up my product they have no contacts covid-friendly set up just like a drive-thru. The staff are fast and friendly and I have no idea how but they are so organized they know where everything is making the pick up a real quick one. They have extended hours for people like me.

I come from out of town. The drive is a great way to break up the monotony of covid life. One night I had my days mixed up and showed up after closing at the auction house. Thankfully Scott McKenzie and his personal assistant Duke were there and helped me get all my items. It amazes me that an owner knows his business inside and out. If I ever had a doubt about this business it would have been thrown out by the treatment we received from Scott and his p.a. Duke; this is clearly a family run business, I love the personal attention that you receive from them.

If you win a bid and you go to pick it up make sure you ask to meet Duke he is the friendliest employee I've ever met; we always make sure that we stop and say hi before we leave.

I just recently found out about McKenzie's auctions and have already bought so many things. Everything i've bought has come as described and working and all great deals. Had an amazing experience today to top it all off. I live across town and do not drive, so i bus and walk a long ways to get there, so today i went there to pick up a very nice bike, and the owner when he found out i was walking/ bussing home actually offered and gave me a ride across town to my house.everyone there is always so happy and nice in my experience, and the owner is a an awesome guy 100% would recommend to everyone.

Bought a juicer. Inside it was used, full of green moldy caked on mess. Not even rinsed. Did not work. Descriptions do not reflect what you buy. Other places check products. Bought several items with similar results. No longer use this business.

McKenzie Auctions is not a company who takes ownership for their own mistakes. They will blame the customer for their own wrong doing, and refuse the refund they approved, after the product has been returned. Because of this, I would not recommend dealing with this company.

I bought headphones that had be designed by the manufacturer to look like Airpods. The actual manufactuer hadn't been included in the description. When reaching out to Mckenzie Auctions and explaining my confusion on the purchase they were understanding and provided me a refund. I am grateful for this level of customer service as I understand they don't have to refund me.
My brother has been using this Auction site for years and has always had great experiences with them. This was my first time, given the experience I will be open to trying them again.

Absolutely not worthy. When it comes to shipping they charge you with out giving you the cost. Eazy your credit card is with them. When a rep is talking to you never gives there name. That will say what kind of company's you dealing with.

Auctions off cars Wednesday and returns Thursday and Sunday. You can get some good deals at Mackenzie's Auctions. Family-owned, local business with a lot to offer in almost every category you might want. John and Scott Mackenzie deserve your business and have the know-how to operate using internet-bidding.

I bought a skid of stuff and it said damage skid and come to find out was returned broken stuff nothing worked garbage.

Lets start with the location, my goodness its like driving on a dirt bike trail. Full of pot holes. It is an auction, not a store. The time to get your items varies on the time of day. Usually around 4pm is the worst times. The staff is friendly, the items are ok. Of the items are Amazon returns and half the amazon returns are either broken or replaced items that are old or an off brand that no one can tell. The car auction is pretty neat, although i don't like the fact that the owner of the auctioned vehicle can either accept or decline the final bid which i find very unfair. So you get your hopes up when you win a car with your max bid and out the owner didn't like the highest bid so the owner rejects it. Other than that its a ok place. I would recommend this place.

NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!
Can not start the engine to check it. Check engine was reset just before the auction. Bought SUV drove 200 m and check engine came on. SUV had too many issues that were not disclosed. I would not buy another car from them. SUV cost + Money put in repairs could bought the better SUV. Learn from mistakes. Can not trust them.

Purchased a vacuum. However, the vacuum that was posted and won was not the same model picked up. Although an inspection was performed on site for damage and compete packaging, it’s unreasonable to suggest that one should verify serial/model numbers, description, etc. And thus there is a greater onus on the business to ensure proper description at the of posting and better diligence taken when an item is being prepared for pickup.

The only compensation offered was to keep or return the item. Unfortunately, I live an hour away and shouldn’t be inconvenienced for seller error.

It should be noted that a favourable solution to both parties was proposed (that included the seller keeping the 16% buyers premium), but was rejected by the seller.

Friendly, organized, and easy to deal with! Definitely recommended! (And don't forget to bring a doggy biscuit for Duke! He's the real boss!)

Have picked up many things over the last year at the auction.

The one time I had an issue. The kind fellas had no problem refunding me for a broken Nintendo hand held.

Love the products and you can't beat the prices. Shopping from home is great and getting the products are fast and easy. All the staff have been very pleasant and very helpful.

I purchased a coffee grinder, only to find that it wouldn't grind. I thought okay, it's only $20 and I'll give them another chance. I then purchased a coffee maker for $65 and no better. Both were used and in unsatisfactory condition. The least they could do was provide a description of the product and its condition. Let's just say that it was an expensive lesson for used product that wouldn't perform!

My husband and I regularly bid on their online auctions and always come away with quality items at a great price. Their customer service is second to none.

I bought a chair from there for half the price on the retail website, always great bargains. The curbside pickup is extremely helpful. Wish it was closer to the middle of the city.

I wouldn't recommend these people at all I bought two cars and this whole this went so wrong. If you guys buy a car make sure you get your ownership same day no matter what if you make a trip twice they will make you pay more or they will not give you ownership and ignore you untill you pay the amount they are asking for. People working inside are very rude and no respect for their customers. My experience went terrible and really really really bad.

Car I bought is all junk nothing works inside or outside and when I talked to the employee she said its not too much. I mean if its not then f*** pay for it.

A lot of fun bidding on items. Their main auctions are Return/Overstock type items, but you will also find vehicle auctions, industrial, and estate. Most of the time they give you a week or so to pick up.multiple locations now. Great customer service as well.

Its been about a year since a friend told me about McKenzie Auctioneers, Since then I've been addicted. There's always something good to bid on and the prices are great. I've bid and won many items on here. After winning items, picking them up was no hassle at all. Will keep coming back.
