Lisa Mauro from gracemed is the best surgical coordinator I have ever had in my entire life. She is kind, caring and professional, she made me feel cared for and took the burden of scheduling off my shoulders, she went above and beyond the call of duty to help me and many other patients. Truly this was the BEST experience I’ve had, Janis first of all is AMAZING she will make sure you are well taken care of and makes you feel so welcomed and goes above and beyond to comfort you, I had my top surgery with DR joukhadar and have AMAZING results. I am 4 weeks post-op from top surgery (double incision with contour) at GraceMed Mississauga and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The clinic is always running on time and everyone is so kind, patient, informative, and supportive. Specifically - co-ordinators Janice and Lisa always respond quickly and kindly to questions on phone or email, ease any worries and help with paperwork needed. Nurse Natasha was available to answer questions/concerns post-op and never made me feel like a burden for having concerns. Nurse Jeanette did all my post-op care and was very patient and supportive. And Dr Armstrong, did an AMAZING job on my surgery. The results truly couldn’t look better. I would recommend this clinic 100%. Thank you for everything!

I have been to Dr. Lista (kinda rude and brash) and Dr. Weinberg (kinda old and ugly belly buttons) before getting an appointment to at GraceMED. The AMAZING staff were the right pick for me! They answered all my million questions lol (I thoroughly do my research). Lisa Pie, Surgical Coordinator was so incredibly helpful in answering my pre-questions when I had initially called in. She is such a light! She made me feel absolutely comfortable and I can't say enough about Lisa! I was always the big girl in my late teens to early 30’s - had to do with food allergies (long a$$ story - gluten, wheat and dairy - buh bye) I had 2 children (7&5 now) changed my diet completely, and I lost a lot of weight in the past 4 years leaving me with so much extra skin where I look at myself and feel sad at what I see, so much so that I don’t pay attention to the mirror from the waist down. 9 dress sizes down, a fufa and side wings, this surgery was a gift to myself! Enough of my spewing…if you’re reading this…don’t hesitate to contact them! I LOVE MY NEW TUMMY and this CUTE BELLY BUTTON!

Going for a reduction/gender affirming surgery and this clinic has been amazing. I've had endless questions and they're happy to answer them all and help relax my anxiety about it. Lisa is fantastic as a coordinator and answers my emails with lightning speed and seems to always be in a great mood, which is nice and makes my day better too. Dr Armstrong is my surgeon and gave me as much time as I needed to express my concerns and desires for the results, explaining how their process went and giving me realistic expectations of what she could do, including showing examples. I'm excited for my surgery and very happy I've gone with this office.

I would have given a zero star rating but the system does not allow this. This is the worse clinic and worse place to work. One of the reasons for this is because this clinic is managed so poorly, is because it is managed by the Clinical Manager Fatima Humair. Fatima also runs (runs down the MCI at Meadowvale as well). On Friday April 22nd 2022 Fatima Humair fired me without cause. I enjoyed my short time working here at this MCI clinic. Just by reading the various reviews I suggest you all look to a Urgent Care Clinic as an alternative for your healthcare needs. To all the patients that I came in contact with I love you all and remember this portion of scripture: Beloved, I wish above all things that you all may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. Been working with McLean Clinic since early 2022 for top surgery. I must say from the start of my process with Elizabeth, to the surgery day with Dr McLean and the nurses, as well as post op appointments with all of the nurses helping me my experience at this clinic has been nothing short of amazing. There was a lot of anxiety and questions I had leading up to surgery with sorting out post op care, as well as disability through my employer and Elizabeth made my experience SO smooth and stress free. Even when I had a question that she couldn’t answer she would always get back to me so quickly with an answer she did have even if it was her reaching out to someone else. Love everyone I have had the opportunity to have worked with at this clinic and really want to put an emphasis on how amazing Elizabeth was working with me all days / hours of the week to ensure I was stress free.

The staff are friendly polite and professional. Angelica and Linda took the time to explain the Fraxel laser procedure in detail and making sure that I was comfortable during the procedure and what to expect post procedure. I am very happy with the results and the care provided. Based on my experience I highly recommend GraceMed.

I am a few months post op from top surgery. From begining to end, everyone was amazing. Dr. Armstrong did a wonderful job. I must also say Liz D is probably the most caring, kind and go beyond person throughout the whole process. Truly a hero and blessing for me to have had such an amazing human who really supported me with such kindness. She has her career but she is so much more. Without Liz, I could have waited another 6 years and at 67, that wasn't a good prospect for me. She will always have a special place in my heart and I could never repay her for doing all she could for my happiness.

I had top surgery at this clinic 6 months ago and I couldn't have had a better experience. The wait list was much shorter than I anticipated and Elizabeth (who took care of booking all my appointments and addressing my questions) is wonderful. I am very satisfied with how my scars look, and how easily they faded. More importantly, Dr. Armstrong listened to all my concerns prior to surgery. She even looked over pictures of top surgery results that I like in order give me the results that I wanted. She was able to make me feel very calm and at ease on my surgery day. All the staff that I have met at the clinic have been incredibly helpful and kind individuals. I truly appreciate all their hard work and Elizabeth has been especially helpful and a good friend for support during my top surgery recovery.

I visited Dr McLean and his team in December for top surgery, and they preformed a great job. They informed me of what they would be doing and made sure I understood it clearly and that all my questions were answered. My scars healed very thin and smooth, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Had top surgery (double mastectomy gender affirming surgery) today with Dr. Armstrong. The whole experience from the initial consult to today was amazing. Hard to find the proper words to describe how amazing all of the staff is. Never got deadnamed or misgendered and everyone was always very respectful. Elizabeth was awesome and goes above and beyond with emailing and answering all questions and concerns. The surgery was the most major yet easiest one I ever had. Amazing anesthesiologist and nurse as well. And no drains! One day post op, 0 swelling and such minimal bruising. Absolutely crazy good results. They also have an after hours emergency line and your doctor is easy to reach and ready to help. I recommend this place and especially Dr. Armstrong to anyone considering top surgery. I could not have asked for a better experience. I love this place.

Dr. McLean performed two procedures on me during separate surgeries. Both were very successful and in both cases Dr. McLean and his entire staff were extremely pleasant, cheerful, supportive and patient. I faithfully followed all the instructions I was given, before the surgery and afterwards, and was told that by doing so I contributed greatly to the success I experienced. When it was found out that I was allergic to the prescribed pain meds the staff were quick to sooth me and provide relief. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I would recommend Dr. McLean to anyone.

Very happy with my results which exceeded my expectations in every way, but what really made this clinic stand out is the staff. They are all incredibly supportive, patient, and friendly. Fantastic staff, very comfortable experience. I have pretty severe anxiety and the warmth and friendliness of the staff really helped relieve some of my stress. It is a little more expensive than some other places if you're paying out of your own pocket like I did, but IT'S WORTH IT. If you're making a major permanent change to your body it is so worth spending the extra money to get the results you'll be happy with for life. My top surgery left me looking even better than I could ever have imagined. I didn't want to get my hopes up too much, but Dr. McLean is a rockstar. My chest is perfect, I never thought I could ever be happy with my body but Dr. McLean did exactly what I needed and now I'm finally confident in how I look and feel. No more back pain and no more emotional pain!

I am 10 months post-op now, have never needed any follow up since my surgery. I check how it's all looking and feeling when I visit my regular family doctor and she is always extremely impressed with how well the surgery was done. Highly recommended! Worth every single penny. This is your body, your life and therefore your long-term happiness, We are willing to spend thousands of dollars on cars and that's acceptable. So never feel bad if you need to spend thousands on making sure you get the body you want for life. It's worth the investment physically AND mentally.

Also I'm guessing people who had issues with wait list times being so long were getting it covered by Healthcare providers? As someone who paid by themselves instead of through insurance or provincial healthcare plans - I got my surgery within 2 months of initially contacting the clinic via email during the first summer of the Covid pandemic. So it sounds like that's an issue that is normal for anyone getting a major procedure for free. I've been waiting years to get a hysterectomy for free, there's always long waiting lists if you're getting it covered, that's just how free medical stuff goes!

Awful communication between staff. Picking up a friend after surgery and I was sent in 10 different directions and no one seemed to care in the least. Clearly once they have your money, don’t really care much.

We can’t say enough after my wife had a procedure with another supposed “top” surgeon in Yorkville 2 years ago. Not happy with the results she searched for a doctor for over 18 months. Visiting every well known doctor in the city that basically said the same thing or came up with excuses as to why they could not re do her implants because they did not do the original procedure. Most of the doctors pushed her off to there junior “B line “ doctors which she was not impressed with. After 10-12 failed visits to other doctors they clearly are not capable we did opted to then turn to LA California and did find a doctor to do what is basically a “re do”, re and re the 450’s to 800’s.a very straight forward procedure. We were just about to book the whole trip down to LA when we found out about Dr. Maclean and we booked an appointment. WOW both of us were very impressed with all the staff and of coarse Dr Maclean! After the consultation he was very straight up and said YES I see no issues with doing what you want and did say if he felt this was something he could not do he would say no. Fast forward to “the day”, the staff were so helpful and took care of her every step of the way. In at 11am and was told it might be 5-6pm before she can go home.well 2pm I get a call.she is good to go.all done and ready. They did such a great job, the process was very straight forward and his work is by far the BEST!
Not only was the procedure done so well but the heal time was so so fast, a few days and basically back to normal like nothing had even happened.

I love this clinic! I've been a patient of Miriam's for almost 10 years. She's my skin Guru! Miriam is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Mcevenue did a fantastic job on my rhinoplasty. I'm 2 (+) months post op.and very pleased with everything. I was very scared to do it but so happy I did. The price was reasonable too.
The staff is SO Nice as well. Very kind. I didn't even need to go back as many times as they wanted to check up on me.

I had a BA done by this horrible doctor, he has zero bed side manner and he did a terrible job. I’m now paying a lot to fix his mess. DON’T USE THIS DOCTOR.

I would have given this place 5 starts because well putting aside some things. They were really nice and clearly good at what they do. They have also helped my friends out. BUT when I went in for my consult it wasn't very lovely. At the start it was pretty nice but they made me wait to find out at the end after I ASKED them over and over about the waiting list. That it is 2 YEARS. I waited so long for this consult and then when I got there they got me all hyped just to tell me I have to wait 2 years. I'm trying to get top surgery and they were making me all excited like it was gonna happen in 4 weeks. Not to mention they kept using a triggering word for my chest. So I mean I wouldn't waste your time here. Go find another place and before asking for the consult ask for the waiting list. I wasted my time on this place don't do the same.

Both my husband and I had moles removed at the clinic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The surgery itself went very well. The challenges that we had were post surgery. One of moles that my husband had removed was on his back. The stitches used were not dissolving which we did not know until we went to our family doctor. We then had to go back to the clinic to have those removed. Then the stitches that were supposed to be self-dissolving did not do so for a very long time. Ultimately our family doctor had to remove some of the stitches. Even after that there were still bits of material in the wound that we ultimately ended up pulling out. The actual work done was good but follow-up not so much.

If you suffer from gender dysphoria and plan on going here for gender reassignment surgery brace yourself. The doctors are not sensitive to triggering terms. They referred multiple times to my boyfriend's chest as "breast tissue" and explaining the surgery that would result in him having his "breasts" removed, which was alarming and caused him to feel very dysphoric for hours after his consultation. I would expect a doctor whom is seen on social media to help create the body that trans people ideally want would maybe understand why they in fact are getting the surgery and should consider using less triggering language. They also put him through hell waiting until the end of the consultation when he asked multiple times how long the waitlist was to be told it was 2 years away. Had they told him prior to his consultation he wouldn't of had to waste his time feeling extremely uncomfortable and triggered when leaving. This has affected him for weeks and it's in my opinion a problem that they should address and consider fixing for future gender reassignment patients.

The McLean Clinic was really a wonderful first experience in the world of Botox. Amina was the Cosmetic Nurse and she was exceptionally knowledgeable and made me fully aware of the potential risk, benefits and clear outline of what my expectations should be.

I had no wait time and the girls at the front desk were so friendly. In addition I had some questions about a month after my procedure and contacted Amina, she was quick to respond and very professional.

I would definitely recommend her and the clinic.

If you are looking for top surgery and have a BMI over 30, it is unlikely he will accept you as a patient unless you lose weight, which isn't possible to do healthily for some people. I get that he is a private clinic, so he can set the standards he wants but he should be more upfront about it. I wasted money on a trip to see him just to be told I did not qualify.

If you struggle with an eating disorder I suggest you do not go here. They are far from body positive. I understand that they are concerned about someone's health an liability but they have not handled this so well. They use triggering language, weight nunbers and encourage people (who have eating disorders) to lose weight. This is unacceptable. If you struggle with an ED I suggest talking with your doctor qboua alternatives. This clinic won't accept fat people and use the outdated BMI chart which is disgusting

Recently went in for a consultation and the team at McLean Clinic were super friendly and knowledgable. They answered all the questions I had and helped ease my mind surrounding certain procedures I was interested in. Looking forward to going in for my treatment next time!

I came to McLean clinic for coolscupting to trim down my love handles and some Botox to get rid of the wrinkles on my forehead. Super happy with the results and their staff was so nice and incredibly helpful!

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. McLean. I had a problem with a procedure that was done years ago from someone who claimed to be a professional and wasn't. Dr. McLean was very empathetic with me and he was extremely honest with the advice that he gave me. He clearly showed me that he had my best interests at heart. This place is amazing, and the staff are wonderful. Everyone involved in my surgery was kind, patient and understanding - not once was I ever made to feel that I was wasting anyone’s time or asking too many questions.

Liz took amazing care of me while we got me on the waiting list, and my surgery even ended up getting bumped up to almost a year earlier than I’d initially been told to expect!

I’ve had terrible experiences with surgeons before, and in all honesty had been expecting the same - I’ve never been so happy to be wrong. Dr McLean was a very kind and comforting man, and the rest of the staff were just as lovely. The entire clinic gives off a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
