Food is fantastic and tastes great. Portions are generous. Food preparation is very slow because everything is made to order, but worth the wait. Love the chicken on a pita.
Avoid the soups, very salty and portions are grossly small and not worth the price.

Received the most atrocious portions.
I called to bring this to their attention but all I got was a “ manager” that was unwilling to listen, very persistent in telling me that it’s the way it is and that’s that. Very very unprofessional to be a manager of a restaurant.
Fix your portion sizes and get a new manager.

Please do not waste your time and money at this location.

I used to be a loyal customer at Me Va Me Express in North York, enjoying both the delicious food and excellent customer service. However, my recent visit left me disappointed and unwilling to return.

I ordered a schnitzel sandwich, hoping for the same quality I had experienced in the past. To my surprise, the sandwich came with chicken strips instead of the expected schnitzel cut. When I inquired about it, the person handling my order not only raised their voice at me but also invited me forward to show me the schnitzels, all with a disrespectful tone.

This encounter was not only unpleasant but also showcased a lack of understanding of Canadian culture and customer service standards. The offensive behavior of the staff member left a lasting negative impression on my overall experience.

Moreover, the limited variety of fresh ingredients for the sandwich added to my dissatisfaction with the food quality. I sincerely hope that Me Va Me management pays closer attention to their frontline staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about customer expectations and are capable of providing a respectful and courteous service.

Unfortunately, this experience has led me to the decision that I won't be returning to this Me Va Me Express location. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for improvement in both customer service and food quality.

I called in advance 20min.showed up. Waited another 15min for the guy to put shwarma on the PITA.

Workers reminded him 3 times to do it

What's the point of calling early if they still can't do a basic task of putting shwarma on a wrap.

It's not like they have customers or a big line up.

No wonder this place has no customers

You get the smallest portions. Last time I ordered they were alot bigger this time it wasnt enough to fill us up. 68 dollars for an order and 3 of us are still hungry never again.

My recent order from Me Va Me, a restaurant I've frequented as a loyal customer, has left me thoroughly disappointed. The babganoush, a dish I've always enjoyed, turned out to be a shadow of its former self due to a recent recipe change.

Upon bringing this to the restaurant's attention, not only did they admit to altering the recipe, but they also refused to provide a refund. This response is unacceptable, particularly considering my long-term patronage.

As someone who has supported Me Va Me for years, I expected better. The lack of accountability and refusal to address customer concerns have significantly diminished my trust in their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. It's disheartening to see a restaurant I once enjoyed fall short in both food quality and customer service.

Staff was very easy to deal with on a catering order, and have always delivered quality food

Good bread. If you want a carb rush this is the place.

Pretty darn good shawarma for only $15 after tax - pretty big portion too.

The (owner or manager?) made a point to say "thank you" from across the room as i was walking out with my take-out order during a busy lunch rush - that left a pretty good impression.

Will definitely be back

If you enjoy good food you might have to think twice about visiting this place and here is why:
1- Overpriced relative to the portion size
2- Consistently slow service no matter what time of the day you go
3- Quality is hit or miss
4- Lack the basics of customer service
5- Often times they forget to pack half of your paid order
6- BEST of all, this all comes with ATTITUDE towards the customers

I like this place for falafel and salads, they make best Hammos dip too, my last time shawarma order came with chicken skin and some rubbery meat.over all is good place for pickup a bite

I've been visiting Me Va Me for more than a decade in all the two famous branches at Steeles and at Rutherford; the same good quality of food and the plate size is the same never changed. Highly recommended

Had a lovely time visiting for my first time the other day. The lamb laffa I got was absolutely delicious and huge. The girl who served me was very sweet and made the experience all the better.

To the girl who served me; If you're reading this, I'll learn more sign language for next time in town lol

I ordered grilled chicken breast box with greek salad and mashed potato sides, and IT WAS AWESOME!
The staff are super friendly, and food is soooo delicious

We arrived at 9 and they were out of chickens Shawarmas, The quality of the food is very average, its not bad honestly it used to be a lot better, especially during Covid it was my to go place, but since then I feel the quality is fallen considerably.

Excellent food and service! Got two sandwiches (chicken and chicken shawarma), both were excellent in taste and quantity! Staff are very friendly. This location has been excellent since they opened. Never been disappointed with their service or food. Thank you!

Don't tell people 20 min for shwarma wait when it's closer to 40. Be honest. Don't be rude when asking how much longer for the dude
