Meadow View Gardens

We booked the venue in January, so we were blown away when we got to tour the venue in the summer. The gardens were still looking fabulous, even in early fall and after a long period with no rain. And as the sunsets and the twinkly lights come on it's like you have a whole brand new venue.

We loved our experience with Meadow View Gardens! Julie was fantastic. She was super responsive and answered all our many questions. We never had to chase her down for answers. She made sure we had everything we needed for our special day. She helped us source craft beer for the party, set up our champagne toast, and kept up with our thirsty guests. We even had one guest in a cast and without us having to ask they provided a golf cart for her to get up to the shuttle at the end of the night.

I recently had my wedding at meadowview gardens, and although it was one of the most beautiful venues, the owners are WAY to strict about everything. The guy who owns the place was rude to my guests and even at one point yelled at myself (the bride) for asking for a type of drink (a simple no would’ve been fine). They had a security guard who was one of the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever met. Witnessing the way he spoke to my guests made my heart hurt. I am so thankful my guests were patient and respectful even after how they were treated. We paid for the venue and in our contract it stated our last song would play at 11: 45 and then to leave by 12, but they played our last song at 11.30 without giving us a choice as they said it must be played at this time, and then was yelling at people to get out. They even tried to send the bus I ordered to leave by 11: 45 without me on it. If things are in the contract stating times, then they should not being going back on their word. They should really consider only being a venue that does ceremonies because they clearly cannot handle any form of partying or celebrating for a wedding. This was supposed to be one of the most important nights of our lives and it’s a shame that the owners were the reason we did not enjoy ourselves.

Julie and Gary were so very gracious and generous as hosts to my daughter and son-in-law for their wedding. The enormous amount of work and devotion they have put into their gardens was evident by the beauty that surrounded us on the wedding day. They went out of their way to ensure the day perfect not only for my daughter and son-in-law but for everyone in attendance.

We appreciated that they were on site and were able to provide a list of vendors that had been vetted by them to provide exceptional services. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and tranquil outdoor space.

We had an amazing time at Meadow View Gardens during our wedding. The owners were lovely to deal with before and during the wedding, and the venue as a whole was stunning! Will always recommend for an intimate garden wedding!

Absolutely gorgeous place. Friendly staff, very organized. Only one negative problem - the driveway needs to be paved and possibly a little wider (see attached photos) the driveway was horrible. And parking for the event I was at, was in a small field, on grass on a slope, poor lighting at night in the car park area. Flood lights (solar) could work or a possibility for owners. I give this place a 9 out of 10.

Unbelievable venue, and beautiful hosts Gary and Julie made our special day unforgettable. They were communicative, kind, and made sure we were prepared for our special day. It was a pleasure to be able to share their amazing gardens and venue with our guests.

We had our wedding on September 3rd at Meadow View Gardens and it was an absolute dream! The bride's cottage was the perfect setup for our Chinese traditional door games and tea ceremony.

We said our vows at the Walnut Walk and the setting was just so beautiful. The gardens were also amazing backdrops for photos, which was one of the main reasons we chose Meadow View Gardens.

We did an open bar for cocktail hour and the reception, which worked out really well for our guests. The reception tent and nearby lawns were beautifully decorated with hanging lights, adding to the magical night we all had.

All of our guests had a wonderful time exploring the garden, playing lawn games, and dancing the night away. It was an absolute blast for us!

Julie and Gary are such a wonderful couple to work with. I planned our wedding myself, so it was great to receive so much support and guidance from them. They have great recommendations for vendors in the area and were always available to answer any questions we had. Julie and Gary really helped out throughout the night to ensure that everything went smoothly-it was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much!

Had my wedding here September 23rd, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue! There are so many beautiful options for ceremony sites, and the marquee tent and surrounding gardens were very pretty. The bridal suite is adorable and super convenient. The washroom trailer they bring onto the property is super nice and clean.

Julie was wonderful from the first email to the morning after. My husband and I didn't find any of their rules unreasonable; they have to follow strict liquor license rules so of course they want to adhere to that, they have volume restrictions for reasons we thought were acceptable, and she was great at communicating these things to us in the contract, in emails, and the day of.

The gardens are beautiful, Julie didn't hover which was nice but I knew she was around if I needed her and answered the phone when I called.

They provide a gorgeous outdoor venue, with minimal frills, attentive service, and care.

Pretty place. Nice waterfall for nuptials. Otherwise though as a venue I would not recommend it. Immenities you would come to expect, like water, electricity, garbage and recycling accessibility were "additional" or not there. Leaving the property, there were lights lining the driveway
but were not turned on.

I attended a wedding on Friday August 26th I am the mother of the Bride. I can not say enough good things about this venue. The gardens were beautiful, the owners were very friendly and provided excellent service. The whole event was perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend this venue if you want a picture perfect event. I would like to thank them for providing such amazing grounds which we were able to enjoy and celebrate such a special event.

I was at a wedding here this summer and I cannot even begin to tell you how beautiful it was. The drive down through the trees to the parking area was magical, and then it opens up to the lawns where the reception tent and the bride's tent is situated, gorgeous! Then you walk through courtyards, and arbors to the amazing avenue of trees, this is just one of the ceremony sites, and how nice it was, as it was beautifully shaded. The rest of the gardens, with pond, waterfall and lots and lots of flowers just blew me away! The owners, I found out, put in all the gardens, within the last 4 years and there is just the two of them! I have also been told, on more than one occasion, that they were the nicest, most accommodating couple to work with. If I wasn't already married, I would, without a doubt have my wedding here!

We experienced a wedding here, the venue was gorgeous and really added to the event. A great place to visit.
