Do not get blood work done here. The “nurse” jabbed me with a needle 3-4 times very hard and still didn’t get any blood from me. Other nurses have been able to do it plenty of times. Went there for nothing and left with a painful bruise. The “nurse” didn’t even apologize. Awful. Go to Dynacare -they’re much more competent
Very bad service most of the old employees they don’t have customer service and the new ones they don’t know how to do the job 4 times they make blood test wrong they don’t care about patients
Been to this location twice and have had amazing experiences with both the nurses who have taken my blood. I’m not great with blood work and they made sure I was taken care of, comfortable, and distracted. Dropped 1 star for the long line to stand in when signing in but other than that, this is my go to place now for getting blood done
Everything was ok. Lara got me on the first jab. Not too much fishing around. Didn't have any pain. Was in and out fairly fast near the end of the day.
Got blood work done here about 3 times and it was quick and efficient.
My only concern is that the building is old, so there are spots that are/look dirty. Example: the carpets have stains on them and the walls need a paint job.
I recommend that when there is a long break that the place should be renovated so it looks more sterile.
People are clueless at this medical laboratory. Email says go to 1st floor for covid testing, flyer inside the building says otherwise. If you went to the wrong floor, they'll yell at you for being at the wrong place.
I was so impressed by Barbara in Techumseh. When my teenage daughter was anxious about getting blood drawn, she was kind and patient. She even gave her a big hug when she was done! Thanks so much for the compassion you show and the hard work you do each day.
The online check in is awesome and a must in this day and age. Staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. They should be used to train other facilities.
Super long wait times, your soul will be sucked away while waiting for your turn. Online check in is useless. I checked in online and it said my appointment would be in 15 minutes, it's been an hour and half since then and I'm still waiting.
I had scheduled two appointments on-line for travel related Covid test. After I scheduled I had to cancel. The cancellation policy is refund will be handled through the payment software within 4 - 6 weeks. I cancelled on Nov 15 2021 and here it is 18 weeks later and they still have my money (approx $450.00). I have actually spoke with 3 people who all assured me that the Money would be refunded. I have also left multiple voice mails of which none were returned. There is also a cancellation fee (that isn’t quantified) even though they claim the payment software will refund the money. The cancellation fee must be for their streamlined systems and efficiencies. If I could rate less than one it would be negative value. BEWARE OF DEALING WITH THIS OUTFIT THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT PROVIDING ANY SERVICE.
I had an issue with the accounting department of this business. Jason provided a quick and professional resolution to the problem and I am quite satisfied. I highly recommend Medical Laboratories of Windsor.
I had two unpleasing experience with Medical Laboratories of Windsor. First, the receptionist kept me waiting for an hour and then told me that the required test is not available at their lab. Then, I recently did a blood test and after 4 weeks, when I saw my family doctor, the results were for a different blood test and I had to go to a different lab to redo the blood test. Further, in addition to the long wait time, they do not provide the results online and their customer service over the phone is not friendly. I and my family will not do any tests with them again.
My best friend took her father here after his doctor told him he could’ve had a heart attack or covid, and to go get tested. The worker absolutely violated and was disgustingly inappropriate and unprofessional telling them that he shouldn’t have come at all and that he’s not as important to be coming there to get tested. This does not even deserve a 1 star. This does not even deserve me writing this review. If you’re going to verbally harass others for wanting to get tested FROM DOCTORS ORDERS, than maybe don’t work in a lab, where it is your job to do so.
The staff were fine, but who's idea was it to shove the entirety of Windsor's population that needs testing done into one tiny, dingy office.with a large Covid testing site in the same building. No social distancing, crowded without a proper waiting area. Exam rooms were run down and dirty, with an inch of dust on their computer/printer, and staff did not disinfect the wedge that they used to put my arm on to draw blood before or after me. Totally gross, with the only other options being driving to Tecumseh or Leamington.
I brought my 1 year old for bloodwork to the Ouellette Ave.location. While I know this isn’t the fanciest office, I will have to say the girls doing work on my baby were amazing. I was very nervous because the nurses at the hospital weren’t even able to take his blood but these ladies did it with no problem. Very thankful to this team.
It's a good place for very simple test until the see something they are unfamiliar with. They letterally crash they are un trained and don't know how to advise you properly and can send you in a limbo of going back and forth with your doctor office and their customer service and start playing the blame game
This building really needs to be knocked down. I went for my covid test here on the first floor and the wait lobby is so small you wouldn't be able to stay 6ft apart from other people waiting for their test. There is virtually no HVAC ducts in the building, no windows and the air smells stagnant. The medical staff I interacted with were nice but it's such a depressing environment I don't know how they do it.
