Very modern clinic with professional staff that are experienced in Laser Therapy. The clinicians take their time during initial consultation and will create a custom BioFlex laser therapy treatment for you. I came here initially for some plantar fasciitis which was quickly healed within 6 treatments, then I had a pair of orthotics made by Dr Cheung, I love that they have fun colours and designs for the orthotics! Since then my feet have never felt better! They also have massage therapists and a naturopath. I continue to wear my orthotics and will definitely recommend this clinic to others!

I have been a client of Bioflex Laser since July, 2017, when I went to their Toronto clinic for help with serious neck problems due to a car accident. I was in significant pain and unable to turn my neck. Prior to this, I had consulted doctors and tried massage and chiropractic treatments to no avail. I had given up hope until I read about Dr. Fred Kahn, Meditech's founder, in “The Brain’s Way of Healing” by Dr. Norman Doidge.

Dr Kahn’s successful treatment of the pain and movement effects of injury and illness using laser devices was remarkable. His clinic was in Toronto, Ontario, a city I would soon be visiting; so I scheduled an appointment.

I was diagnosed with Cerebral Concussion and Myofasciitis/Degenerative Osteoarthritis in the Cervical Spine. Treatment began that day and I experienced temporary relief almost immediately. When I left Toronto to return home, I was able to continue treatment by renting a portable laser device specifically programmed for my needs; and over time, was able to increase my neck’s flexibility. By the time I returned to Toronto the following summer, I had no pain and complete mobility of my neck. I am still pain free with a full range of motion now – 5 years later.

This Spring, I returned to Meditech for hip pain related to osteoarthritis requiring hip surgery. After one month, of treatment, the pain has lessened and, once again, I will return home with a device to continue treatment prior to hip replacement surgery and following it to help speed the healing.

I live in the US, where I have looked for similar treatment options, but have been unable to find a similar comprehensive treatment facility. Though I have found laser options – they either are not used for the issues I am facing or they cannot promise the same sort of results

I am always able to speak to the doctors and clinicians at.the treatment about issues I encounter and, with their guidance, use the device I have to treat other injuries that might occur.

I’ve had a Pilonidal Cyst with draining sinus that has been haunting me for a few months at that point. I looked up this clinic online and saw amazing reviews, so I decided to come here. I came to this clinic originally in 2018 with moderate-severe spondylolisthesis as a result of a sports injury. I could not stand up straight or walk properly due to severe sciatic pain. I was told by my family doctor that the case was not severe enough for surgery and there was nothing she could do except prescribe painkillers but my pain did not improve at all over several weeks. I am so thankful that I found this clinic. I had a great experience with Slava the clinic director. He is very knowledgeable and prescribed the right course of treatment with the laser. Within 2 months my spine healed and the pain was almost entirely gone and I was back to my normal physical activities. I came back to the clinic again this year but with a less severe injury and had the same positive experience with my diagnosis and treatment. Slava goes above and beyond not only to treat the problem but help you understand why and how injuries occur to help prevent them in the future. In addition, all the staff that I met here are very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The laser itself is incredible in how much it accelerates the healing process.

By the time I discovered Bioflex Laser Therapy Clinic, I was at my wits' end, unable to cope with the relentless, debilitating pain brought on by a chronic, non-healing condition. There are no words that can properly convey the level of agony I experienced for endless hours each day. Life had become unbearable. I could not work and became house-bound. My quality of life deteriorated to the lowest level.

Doctors could not (or would not) treat me. Part of what made my condition so devastating was not being taken seriously by physicians, and being forced to wait two to three months for even a useless phone consultation. Despair took over.

However, upon consulting with Slava Kim, clinic director at Meditech Rehabilitation Centre, I decided to give non-invasive, pain-free laser therapy (aka low level laser therapy, or LLLT) a try. I emailed Meditech on Sunday, September 26,2021. By Monday, I had an in-person appointment set up for that same week. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff welcomed me with warmth, putting me at ease instantly.

I met with Slava, and he dedicated two hours to our first appointment—listening intently as I thoroughly explained the details of my condition, walking me through how LLLT works and how it could help me, providing before-and-after images of successful treatments, showing me anatomy diagrams so I could better understand why the pain was so intense, and then even treating me on the spot that very day.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for how swiftly he took action but, most of all, for seeing me like a human being who was suffering and in desperate need of relief. Despite my initial trepidation, the treatment was 100% pain-free. There is absolutely no reason to fear laser therapy. Slava is a very precise, careful, and considerate technician. Most of all, he gave me something I had lost: hope that I would one day be normal again.

For the next few months, I had two appointments a week. Ultimately, due to the severity of my condition, it was determined in November that I would need surgery overseas (the procedure I required is not available in Canada). Unfortunately, the condition had plagued me for over two decades on and off but was always misdiagnosed by doctors over the years. It reached a crescendo in June 2021 and carried on until my surgical procedure in January 2022. Conversely, someone who has the good fortune of discovering LLLT sooner would likely be cured/healed completely without the need for surgical intervention. My case was quite extreme. And LLLT helped me immensely to cope with the pain as I awaited my surgery—without laser therapy, life would have been all the more intolerable. Furthermore, the LLLT helped prepare the soft tissues for the impending procedure, increasing collagen production and reducing inflammation. I would also like to point out that even my surgeon in Germany recommends trying LLLT as a first course of action before surgery, so I was on the right trajectory.

Upon my return to Canada following a successful procedure in Germany, I resumed treatment at Meditech for post-surgical healing and recovery. Now, I was in a much better head space, as I was on the other side of the nightmare I had been living for so long. I had roughly one session a week for eight weeks.

Beyond any doubt, LLLT accelerated my post-surgical recovery.

In addition to helping me heal and regain my quality of life, Slava and the team at Meditech, including Dr Zitney, were there for me every step of the way, always ready to answer questions via email or phone, provide guidance, tips, suggestions, and words of comfort. Slava checked up on me frequently while I was in Germany.

If you are suffering a chronic condition, do yourself a favour and set up an appointment with this clinic. The only thing you need fear is a living with pain. Working as a Laser therapist for 6 months, I was able to witness first hand the benefits of laser therapy in treating a wide range of pathologies. I have had every therapy under the sun and something about the laser therapy just works for me. I've been treated at a chiropractor with the Bioflex system/technology and have had great results for my numerous conditions. For too many years I suffered with chronic pain on my neck, lumbar area, left SI joint, massive headaches, and sleep disturbances that brought me to my knees, and to the end of my rope. My sleep specialist referred me to BioFlex Laser to help me with the chronic pain. Absolutely love them. I have suffered with a pilonidal cysts for almost 10 years. Surgery was a scary option as I was told by the surgeon it was a 50/50 chance that it would get much better or much worse. Not the kind of odds I was looking for. I came across a reference to the clinic while doing some more research. Slava Kim the director of clinic treated my condition. After my treatments the cyst was no longer causing any issues. I would like to share a story of my friend, 80 year young lady and her remarkable recovery from a very severe shoulder trauma with the help of BioFlex Laser Therapy.
My friend had a full dislocation of her shoulder from glenohumeral joint together with broken and dislocated humerus tuberosity, the attachment place of rotator cuff muscles. After many hours spent in ER and adjustment of her shoulder, she was released home with prognosis that her arm might never be functional again without invasive surgery and the best she could hope for would be a partial regain of function, so she could lift her arm up to the head level. Her Doctor was one of the leading experts in the field, Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in shoulder pathologies and all we hoped at that time was for my friend can avoid a shoulder surgery if her arm remains not functional. In a few days later my friend rented a home unite and started diligently her daily home treatment supplemented by weekly visits to Meditech clinic. To the biggest surprise of all of us, including her Doctor, just after 4 weeks of Laser treatment my friend regained most of the function of her arm, much faster than it could be expected by most optimistic prognosis, and only in 6-8 week of her treatment she regained a full range of motion of her arm without any limitation and almost without any pain or discomfort! Important to mention, my 80-year-old friend also has multiple health problems including diabetes, anemia, hypertension, etc, and her odds for successful recovery very much lower than for average person. Nevertheless, she was healed and this would be impossible without BioFlex Laser and a very compassionate care of the staff at the BioFlex Laser Clinic.

I have suffered with achillies tendonitis for over a decade, seen orthopedic surgeons, worn orthotics, special excercises all to no avail.

I happened to come across this clinic and it’s laser light therapy through a feature on the Nature of Things with David Suzuki. My wife and I were desperate for finding a treatment that would work for our 17 year old son who suffered a serious concussion in ice hockey. Prior to trying Meditech, our son tried other treatments and therapies. He was not able to recount 1,2,3,4 backwards without error. After just a few sessions, we noticed a significant and positive change in our son’s road to recovery. He would go twice and sometimes 3 times a week for 2 months, then pared it down to once a week. It was incredible to see the positive results in such a short time. I had also used the therapy for a torn calf I suffered playing soccer. I had previously torn my left calf playing football and did “conventional” physio. Took me 3 months and still had a bit of a limp for another week. After tearing my right calf playing soccer, I right away went to do the laser light therapy. After 3 weeks of 2 sessions per week, I was walking properly and was back on pitch shortly thereafter.

I had old Taekwon -do knee injury, basically was not able to work or walk properly. It was very painful to make each step. Technicians were lovely. I was advised that I could expect results within 2-3 weeks. At the end it that time, having seen no benefits and, in fact, was worse, I was told that sometimes it takes longer when you have Fibromyalgia so I should try another three weeks. I felt like that should’ve been addressed with me upfront. Having already spent $800, I decided to pack it in. There were multiple other problems I experienced and I won’t go into them but it left me frustrated. I felt like this company is just in it for the money.

Three years ago, I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in both hips. I had difficulty walking with lots of pain day and night. My gait was uneven as I struggled with walking normally. Dr. Kahn and the low level laser therapy helped tremendously with my knee injury. Multiple tears and so much inflammation had me barely able to walk. I brought the laser machine home and after a month of regular treatment I was able to begin physio and strengthen my knee tremendously.

They were very professional and it helped improve my daughter's headaches from her multiple concussions.

I had a Mortons neuroma with years of high heeled and bad ballet flats and could barely walk stand or wear shoes and no one could diagnose this right for months. When I saw dr Kahn he diagnosed me fairly quickly with ultrasound and everything and I did 6 weeks of laser treatment + didnt require surgery. Best treatment ever hands down. I recommend this place widely to everyone i know suffering from pain. The pain never recurred and i was able to stop taking painkillers

I had a terrible frozen shoulder. By the time I started laser therapy, I was suffering a lot of pain and immobilization. With daily treatment to start and then consistent follow-up treatments, I was amazing and relieved at the incredible healing that took place. I then had a smaller frozen shoulder experience on the other shoulder. With my previous experience, I was able to immediately address this arising issues successfully through laser therapy. I completely recommend laser over operative procedures and drugs. I have my shoulders back with full use and mobility. It is a miracle approach not to be underestimated. One does need to commit and have regular treatment to see results, but it is worth your efforts, not doubt about it.

Dr Khan and his staff were excellent! The laser treatment my husband received has helped him greatly. It is worth travelling to Toronto for this treatment. My husband said after 2 trips his pain was reduced by 40%. Without this development of Dr Kahn's laser treatment my husband would not be the man his has returned to.
