Can be a bit busy with a bit of a wait at times so be aware. Otherwise, would definitely come back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch today that we ended up overeating everything was so good. Chicken souvlaki was really tender, calamari was perfectly seasoned and crispy, I will probably have dreams about it. The salad was even delicious that I ended up eating it all and it was a pretty generous serving. Can't wait to come back.

My first time here and I was blown away. Food was amazing and great value, which you don’t see nowadays. Most dinner plates were around $20 and the portion size was generous. This will now be my go to spot for Greek food 5-star all around. Thank you!

We were genuinely so impressed, we went again a few days later following our first visit. Nothing we ate disappointed. The avgolemono soup, tirokafteri, baked holumni, lamb chops, shrimp souvlaki, and fettuccini alfredo were chefs kiss.

It’s no wonder they’ve been around for so long! Looking forward to returning.

We have been going to and ordering takeout from here for the past probably about 2 years. The food has always been so good. Today I got the chicken souvlaki, the chicken was probably the best I have had from here. Seasoned well and just so tender it fell apart! The Avgolemono Soup and Greek bruschetta are also a must try!

I placed an order for an event of 20 people. Smooth transaction. Ordered chicken souvlaki lunch and dessert. The food was prepared fresh and serving size was huge. I had a good chat with the owners upon pick up. They were very accomodating and friendly. Guests loved it.

Amazing place! Atmosphere so greek and inviting. Food fresh and delicious. We even had an wonderful customer paid our bill. Thank you to that person we will for sure pay it forward

Our server Hazel made the experience very satisfying. We tried Santorini chicken and gyro, both of them are very delicious. Gyro portion is really big like for two people. And also Mario who is the manager of this restaurant really cares about customer satisfaction and makes sure everyone leaves with the best experience possible.

Meditarraneo is hands down the best Greek restaurant I've tried in the Waterloo area. The ambiance was warm and inviting

The menu at Meditarraneo offers a wide range of delicious Greek dishes, and we couldn't resist trying the Calamari and the Veal Pita. Both dishes exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor. The Calamari was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the Veal Pita was packed with savory goodness.

One thing that stood out to us was the excellent value for money. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content.

The servers at Meditarraneo were attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Alexis, in particular, went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. They took the time to explain the dishes, making recommendations based on our preferences, and ensuring that we had everything we needed.

Overall, Meditarraneo is a gem. If you're craving authentic Greek cuisine in Waterloo, look no further. The combination of delicious food, great value, and outstanding service makes Meditarraneo a must-visit. We can't wait to return!

Best Greek food in KW. Hands down the best service. Mario and his team are all great people. They always treat us like family. If you haven't tried the Spanakopita, go there now.

We went to The Medeterraneo restaurant for the very first time to celebrate my mother's birthday as we had heard fantastic reviews and are happy to say, those positive reviews are absolutely true!

The food was fabulous. We ordered the Med Platter which was more than enough to serve 2 adults (it came with a bit of everything - lamb chop, 2 types of soulvaki, potatoes, rice, moussaka, gyros and a huge salad).
Our table also ordered 2 types of pitas (pork & a chicken one). And a Calamari Dinner.
The portion sizes for everything was HUGE! Everyone was thoroughly satisfied with the taste and quality of the food!

The only downside was very slow service. We had a reservation for 4pm and arrived on time - the male server didn't take our order until 4: 35pm (he was actually flagged down by the table beside us because they too were waiting.)
We didn't get our food until 5: 15pm.
Thankfully the long wait was worth it bc the quality and portion size of food was A+.

Nice restaurant. You can tell the staff works hard. They are receptive to comments and will ensure you are satisfied before you leave.
All the food was lovely. I recommend the calamari, fries, chicken souvlaki (and the rice is lovely too!), and caeser salad. The raspberry cheesecake is also nice.

Response to owner- as mentioned below and to clarify for you, each appetizer came out 10-20 min apart not 10-20 min from arrival. That’s an unreasonable amount of time in between. I appreciate your thorough breakdown of how you intend to plate your food but I also stand behind my breakdown for what we received.

Our waitress was lovely. Reservations at 5: 30pm, seated on time and ordered within 10 min of being seated. 3 Apps came out at different times varying between 10-20 min apart. Dinner was layed on our table at 6: 45pm. That’s a long long wait. $20 for 1 skewer of chicken, half cup rice, quarter cup of salad and 2-3 medium potatoes cut in half. $14 for a “large” village salad that was quite small is a stretch for pricing. The flavours are fantastic and I have zero complaints about that. They really are authentic but I just can’t justify the cost of the food with the quantity.

For 2 people, we spent around $55 on two mains and a very large app. It was very delicious food with plentiful quantities. The atmosphere felt calming and quaint.

We did a catering this weekend for our moms birthday and it was all AMAZING! Our guests were so impressed, everyone loved it. This has to be the best greek food I have had and everything was so nicely presented and packaged. Great Job
