Lets begin with the very basic, firstly proof read your web site and change the word in your explanation line from meed to meet. First indication of incompetence.
How can you claim to be Canada's largest network of home doctors when you were not even able to service the patients in the City of Brampton. Med visit does not have operations in Halton Region, Hamilton, or Niagara. Your claim is untrue. That was an unsupported claim made up by past ownership. Tell me, Med visit, how many times have your doctors refused to attend calls because of the large distances and then Med visit calls the patient who has been waiting all day, only to be told 10 hours later that the doctors car broke down.

Tell me, Med Visit, how many illegal uninsured drivers do you have driving doctors (Commercial driver abstract). Do the patients know that your drivers have knowledge of the patients health issues? Last I remember, a driver is not part of the circle of care.

If you're looking for a well rounded house call service, this is not the service for you. Your claim of having 100 doctors? Perhaps Med visit has 100 e mail addresses of doctors on file, not actual 100 working doctors. Another untruth.

When I searched for a doctor to do a home visit MedVisit came up. The person who answered was very rude, kept cutting me off as a I spoke. It is not clear that they only take people over 65 years of age or who are homebound even though the search says they take anyone having a medical episode.

Just got off the phone with the rudest non helpful person ever. Glad I’m a funeral director cuz at the rate I’m going I’ll need my services because I can’t get a friggen doctor in this city to take me seriously.

I called med visit and the doctor came.and told me I had a torn ligament.and to go to shoppers drug medical and get a brace. I did.no coverage but I bought one that cost $331.00.it worked great. I could go to do food shopping …and very very happy with the doctor.he examined my leg thoroughly.thank you Med Visit

I've had 3 bad experiences in a row. Same story each time:

I call to request home visit
They ask me for medical info
They ask for "symptoms"
THEN they ask for my address

I am then told "we are fully booked in your area for today, however if you call us back tomorrow at 8am we can definitely help"

I am not allowed to schedule an appointment for tomorrow? NOPE.

MY SUGGESTION: Don't bother calling them.

First day - when I called at 3PM, doctor is fully booked for the rest of the day, they told me to call back tomorrow.
Second day - when I called at 8AM, they couldn’t find doctor (?) as he didn’t check in. They said they will call me back. They never did.
I called again at noon and they told me they are still unable to locate doctor (?).
And to try calling third day?
What a scam. Don’t waste your time.
Do you really think that sick person can wait 3 days to see your doctor.

I was very pleased with the thorough, caring, professional yet warm help from the doctor who made the house call. Also, he made the visit at the earliest of the time slot we were advised he'd come. A very positive experience

The operator was rude and demeaning! She kept arguing with me that my grandfather has never seen their doctors before despite them visitng him twice within the past 2 months. After I described that he had some general discomfort around his right chest, she snapped at me and said it must be his heart having pain. I'm not a doctor and neither is she, but that's just ridiculous! She then snapped at me again for giving him Tylenol as a preventive measure because he had his booster shot 2 days ago. Again, why is it her problem to ask such questions when all she has to do it simply write down what I tell her about my grandfather. This woman should give up her job for someone else who actually wants to do it properly.

My client was so worried about her condition but she did not want to go to the hospital because of the Pandemic i told her about Med Visit and they came to help her, she was so relieved and very great full for their service. Thanks Med Visit "Heavens sent in deed. "

Spent half an hour on hold to speak to someone and then the kine get disconnected, this happened twice. When I tried to leave my number for them to call me back, they kept saying my number is wrong! What a service.come on it is 2020 people.

Called for at home service for my father who is in such critical pain that he is unable to get out of bed. They took all his information over the phone and then suddenly said 'I am going to end this call now'. Bizarre behaviour. Will not be calling them ever again.

Worst service ever. It took 2 hours for someone to return my call to book an at home visit for my grandmother who injured her leg and had a large swollen, bruised & infected wound. After they finally called they took 6 hours to come see her for a five minute visit - they walked in, prescribed an antibiotic topical cream, didn’t bother cleaning up the injury or trying to help stop the bleeding, and left. Two days later we had to call the ambulance because my grandmother was in so much pain and the doctor said the cream the nurse prescribed from the at home visit was not relevant at all and they should have advised her to go to emergency right away after seeing such a wound.

Basically - don’t waste your time calling this place.

It's crazy that they provide services to elderly and housebound persons only.

We used this services for my son when he was sick with tonsillitis. It was just great. He didn't suffer for 5 hours sitting at the hospital and suffering.

Now me. I goot a high fever and extreme fatigue, but the receptionist said I wasn't qualified for the services, saying I could go to the hospital or take a cab to a walk-in clinic. It's inhumane. I have to suffer.

Very rude guy over the phone! He was so rude to my wife who called for my mother who has been having really low blood pressure and she is unable to even walk. I understand that my mother doesn’t qualify because she is 50. But instead of suggesting any alternative or speaking nicely he just hung up. It’s really frustrating to see us tax payers money going to rude and unprofessional people like these.

The administrative staff at this office does NOT reply to emails. They were asked to provide a receipt, to which they claim they did. However, they did not. The office staff here is highly unprofessional. Gamboa is the name of the individual. The medical doctor was okay. I'm giving this place a 1 STAR because of their lack of professionalism.

Unbelievable! Dr. McFadden was fantastic.spent time with my wife explaining things and was very thorough, very fast respones time. Really nice to see a doctor with old school practices.

So angry and disappointed this service has been cut for those that don’t qualify as elderly or housebound. This should be an absolute essential service for children to save parents from sitting in the ER with sick kids for hours upon hours when things such as fevers, colds coughs could be treated at home. This service was a godsend for my kids when they were sick at night and very disappointed with the Ontario government for cutting this. Shame on them.

When I called first thing this morning (a Sunday) I was told the doctor would call me between 9 and 2 and come to see me. I have used this service a few times over the years and so they had my contact info on file. By 4 pm when I had heard nothing, I called and the office said “maybe the doctor was busy” and that she would send him a message and the doctor would either call the office or call me. Instead I got another call from an ‘office’ person about 15 minutes later (this being the 3rd person I spoke to, none of them the MD) and she said she would look into it. Sloppy organization - and no real apology for not following through.

Sorry but we don’t have any doctors for your area (North york) as all the doctors are booked. I called at 8pm. At 9: 30pm, the receptionist calls me back and asks if I still needed a doctor! I was shocked at the great customer service and care when I did not even ask her to call me back! I am so greatful, especially when you are sick and you have such an exceptional service! Within an hour and a half the nicest doctor calls me and tells me that he will be there in 10-15minuted.
Dr. Pich is a wonderful and caring doctor. He checked me for everything and prescribed antibiotics to take away the inflammation! Thank you so much for your services and kindness! I appreciate it beyond words!

I called and made an appt and was told the Dr would be there by 8pm. It was now 6pm when I called. Then I get called back a half an hour later by some rude receptionist saying the Dr is booked and can’t come. Like you legitimately told me 1/2 hour ago that I had an appt. Unreal.

Long wait time for contacting call center- inconsistent stories from the people returning calls. I asked them if you service my city-They said YES and my city mentioned on their website too- after taking Patient detail and DOB they said we don't have service in your area- seems like they just capturing leads.

The service is good (update terrible service), but the attitude is very bad specially Dr. Hart Bressler, he's very rude and cares about his time more than the patient, we waited for him 4 hours to come and just before he comes we decided to go to emergency since our 1.5 years baby get so sick and couldn't breath, he called us and say he needs 10 minutes to come, we told him ok we're on our way back but he said he can't wait for a second, luckily we arrive at the same time, but he was very rude and very upset for nothing, he wrote the prescription wrong and the pharmacy refuse to do it unless he call back, it tooks him one hour to call the pharmacy and fix his mistake, while our baby is in pain and crying because of this un-responsible Doctor

The baby now in hospital he can't breath, the doctor Hart bressler insist that he had ear infection and gave him antibiotics and now the hospital said there is no ear infection and there is no need for the antibiotics, and he has short in breath and low level of oxygen, and they need to keep him for one night to watch him. This doctor is so unprofessional and know nothing about medication, his most important thing is his timing and schedule rather than taking care of his patients and give them the proper time to check them, from the minute he saw us and he keeps saying his schedule is full and he wants to be quick. I asked him is the baby breath and chest normal, and he confirm that's there's no problem at all except the ear infection.

One word, don't ever use there services, we could lose our son because of this center and doctor.

This is an amazing service for those who cannot make it to the doctors office because they are too sick or because their work schedule conflicts with office hours. The doctor was kind, efficient, and asked if she could help me with any other medical needs. It’s amazing that these doctors and nurses offer mobile services, especially since it is something that helps so many.

I waited all day for a doctor. Finally arrived at 10 pm. The doctor spent all of 5 minutes and didn’t even examine me. She was uncaring and unprofessional. It’s really sad that this kind of service is all we can get in Ontario when we are suffering with pain.

I am very disappointed at the kind service you have. The nurses and receptionist gave me a hard time. Put me on hold so long. They declined my request for a Med visit for my son.

They insisted I should take him to the hospital. I don’t feel my son is needing emergency care. He needs a prescription for his cough.

Unhelpful staff and assuming without knowing the real condition of patient. I’m the mother and mother knows best.

I called to report that I have a fever, guess what? They sent a very unexperienced doctor, he didn’t know what’s wrong with me, he said I should go to get blood work done.

He didn’t give me any prescription for anything.

And when I asked him to check my Temperature he said that he doesn’t have his thermometer with him!

What kind of a doctor that comes to your house after you had reported you feel you have a fever and doesn’t bring his thermometer with him?

MedVisit Reviews and Complaints Employees unexperienced doctors, this is not the first time I had an issue with MedVisit, but this is the first time I posted a complaint.

If you feel sick don’t waste your time and call MedVisit! Go to a hospital near you it’s better.

The doctor still got paid by OHIP even if he didn’t do anything and even if he didn’t have his thermometer with him which is very unfair, this is called stealing from OHIP and OHIP SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS!

I will make a call to OHIP in the morning and report this nonsense service.

Used this service a few times. Reason for this review was for me disappointment with yesterday's visit and moreover a suggestion.
Called at 8am to schedule a visit. Notified someone will come between 10-6. At 4: 30 the doctor arrived. My issue a sore throat. She (Dr.) looked at my throat told me she doubts it's STREP.if fever persists go to doctor. I asked if she has the rapid strep test and she didn't. At that point was too late to visit walk in clinic. Next day went to walk in and was diagnosed with strep with the rapid strep test.
SUGGESTION: have your doctors carry the RAPID STREP test (I have used your service before and doctor did carry the test. Makes a world of a difference).
