A Utopia of nerd paraphernalia. This place has it all. I went in to grab a D&D book and came out with 2 books and 3 board games.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a wide selection of Warhammer models, among others. Large assortment of diorama and terraining supplies.

Had exactly what I wanted. A rare game called The Last Night on Earth. Awesome. Thanks guys.

These guys got a last minute online order shipped to me within a couple days, regular postage, just a few days before Christmas, during COVID. How do they do that? ! All the other retailer's website say "Expect Delays". Meeplemart is simply the best.

The best selection in the city on almost any hobby product you are into. Could walk around for an hour just enjoying the sights! Love this store!

This place is amazing. Way better than 401 games for board games ad hobby stuff. It's Gunpla prices are by far the most competitive prices in the GTA in my experience. GRAB GUNPLA QUICK! Their master grades sell out pretty fast.

Always a great experience visiting. I come out learning a lot about paints due to their huge (and I mean HUGE) selection of paint brands. The staff is always friendly and super knowledgeble about their products!

Meeple is my favorite game store in the city! The staff is absolutely lovely and they foster a very welcoming environment.

Consistently the best store I've been to for board games, both for their wide selection and their prices. Their stock of model kits and accessories (stands, paints, tools etc) is also amazing for a store that doesn't focus on Japanese merchandise.

Extensive collection of boardgames in their basement unit in a very convenient location in dt. Their pricing is competitive against other stores like 401games. They also have a section for clearance and damaged games with some discounts, not enough to splurge but sometimes you can find some good value buys like "Heroes of Dominaria" marked as water damaged for 7.95 with water marks on the shrink wrap but otherwise pristine inside.

Note that there are stairs mid store to access the boardgame area so it is not accessible friendly.

There is little to no cellphone reception inside. The boardgame section has no reception and the WiFi network is inaccessible because it's congested.

New favorite place for crafting supplies; Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and give selection.

I was BLOWN AWAY by the huge selection of games! Way better than any big name company for games. I wish the puzzle section was a bit bigger but that's only because I'm a big puzzler myself but no matter what I'll be heading back in to look for games for the holidays!

HUGE selection of all kinds of games and models. Can easily spend hours and lots of money on all the cool things this place has to offer!

There is no-where better in the city to find great miniature wargaming or boardgames in the city. Their selection of items is insanely good and they have an excellent online ordering service.

Prices are great and competitive for most items, but again what you're really here for are miniature gaming supplies and miniatures. Bones? They got it. Infinity? No problem. Bolt Action? Hell ya. Warhammer? Two isles of it. D&D miniatures? An entire wall, fully stocked.

The staff are diligent and helpful for finding stock, but I wouldn't say warm- which as far as hobby shops in Toronto go is par for the course.

Overall amazing place to shop, order from, and browse, but if you're looking for a hobby community or tables to play at, this isn't the place for you.

This is the best hobby store in the city, when it comes to tabletop play. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. The HUGE selection is well organized. The only downside is how much time you lose browsing all the isles! I'm just going to grab a quick barbarian mini. Three hours later I've bought an army, brushes, acrylic paint set, battle-mat, dice-set, three campaign books, and hard to find boardgames. But I can't wait to go back. Because I forgot my barbarian!

One of the best, if not the best, stores of this kind. It's a massive store with tons of variety. Even if you don't buy anything you can certainly enjoy walking through the aisles to browse the massive amount of games they have. I recommend doing your own research of what kind of game you want to buy on the web before visiting the store otherwise you can feel overwhelmed with the options.
The staff is always friendly and they can answer any questions you may have.
They have a special offers/sales section for damaged boxes so if you don't mind having a damaged box you can have a good deal. From the stores I know this one offers the lowest prices.

A large warehouse style store with lots of product variety. I’m not a huge board game or role playing person, however, this store still had lots of options for the average consumer. They had lots of Gundams for more reasonable prices than the other stores on Spadina. For comic fans, they carried diamond select figures/statues, hot toys, play arts Kai and plenty of funko pops. If you’re into painting miniatures or a user of hobby equipment, they have a large selection of paints, tools and sealants. I often use Tamiya products and they carried a lot of their products. I recommend this store if your interested in any of the types of products I mentioned above.

I got 2 games from them recently and both arrived damaged even though I paid full price.one was ripped in multiple spots and the other had all corners dented.not recommending this store.

Always great prices and selection. I've ordered several times from Meeplemart and everything has always arrived in great condition, and super quick.

An easily missed and daunting entrance that betrays an otherwise glorious store.

Meeplemart holds a wide variety of selections that can be hard to find and has helpful staff who are almost always occupied by customers or other tasks which is saying something for the stores popularity.

They're also cheaper then other stores of similiar types in Toronto.

Lived in the area for years and had no idea this place existed. What an awesome place filled with every game you could imagine.

I even purchase boardgames and miniatures from them online. The shipping costs were fair and it was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Would highly recommend this store to anyone.

The epitome of no frills gaming shopping. If you know what you're looking for it's great but casual browsing is tough as their stock is so expansive. However the staff are great and really helpful so it's never a problem to get what you need.

Haven't been indoors yet. But picked up my online order curbside. Wonderful staff that provide online chat help. No doubt, the best deals in the city. Many items are priced less than 401 games. Damaged items are put on sale and have only a negligible minor depression on the box. Totally worth checking out.

Very good selections of Gundam model kits at a reasonable price. The lowest price you can get compared to other hobby store in Toronto area. I ordered for pick-up the night before and was able to get it the next day right-away.

The store does not list items by stock nor does it have an option to list by in stock. Have fun sifting through countless out of stock items and in stock items without images trying to find what you're looking for.

Had a fantastic experience with Meeplemart! I was quite amazed by their customer service and even though there was a mistake in my order that wasn't their fault they still worked with the company (FLG) who also did right by me and replaced my order!
Everything all around was top notch and I will definitely be back!

I have ordered from this store multiple times and have had nothing but the best experiences. I am planning on making a trip there in the future as I absolutely love their selection and they have some products that are a bit harder to find in Canada.

Meeplemart has a ton of inventory, focusing on both miniatures and supplies for the hobby. The physical store is in a basement, so be aware that it's quite densely packed. There are also some regular boardgames and card games (e.g. Magic: The Gathering), but it's really a destination for miniatures. Easy to find, and there's an elevator to help you access. Staff is helpful and friendly.

One could spend hours just going through their inventory.
I don't think anyone else in Toronto has a board game inventory quite like they do. At times it's like finding a needle in a haystack so to speak.
But that's part of the charm & adventure of going to this store and browsing through the miniatures, painting supplies, and of course board games!
Their online site is also quite extensive, for those that can't make it to the store, and shipping is fast. They also offer gift certificates.
And I've found their prices are often cheaper than Amazon, etc.

Has everything you would want in terms of borard games, and also figures, dice, etc. One of the last stores of its kind in toronto sadly.

My first time shopping with Meeplemart was to purchase my son’s first army for his birthday. He was super-excited when he unwrapped his present, and super-disappointed when he found that six of the twenty-one minis were significantly damaged.

I called the store, but was told they don’t deal with returns from this manufacturer, and that I’d have to contact the manufacturer directly. So, I wrote an email to the manufacturer including photos of each of the damaged minis, and copied Meeplemart.

After a week of no response from either the store or the manufacturer, I opened a dispute through PayPal. Almost immediately the owner of the store (Steve) got in touch with me. Steve sent a copy of my original email to his account manager at the manufacturer, and they agreed to replace the damaged minis.

The real test of a store is not in how they deal with customers when things go right, but in how they deal with customers when things go wrong. Apart from a little gap initially, Meeplemart stepped up to make sure my son ended up with a quality product. I would happily deal with them again.

This board game store is one of the best in the entire country.it's in a basement, and a little bit dark, but there are always great sales and a good amount of knowledge from the staff.

You can always order online and just pick up in the store for free. The only downside is if you want to wander around the store you have to leave your backpack at the front.

Friendly people, good selection of game models and board games. Sometimes customer service is a bit slow but it's never overshadowed by how well stocked they are, I've always been able to find whatever I'm looking for.

Incredibly rude if you call the store. They have a ton of stock but don't try to talk to the staff if you have a question about something. You will just get told to look on their website. Speaking from experience.

So much stock, covering so many different hobbies. My only complaint is that, because there's so much stock, it can be difficult to find what you need. Staff was friendly, but there was only one cash and a fairly long line up meaning that it took a while to cash out.

Monstrous amount of miniatures, paints, carrying cases, games and collectibles. Everything is well stocked and organized neatly.

I am a Star Wars Miniatures player and Meeplemart has an incredible sale on for the last of the 1.0 stock. PLaced a large order and received in incredibly quickly. Box was well packed order completely correct. Insanely happy with my purchase and Meeplemart will now be my go to place for games. Can't wait to stop by when I am in Toronto next.

Best hobby shop in TO in terms of prices and variety. Not crazy about their bag check policy though.

My favourite tabletop gaming store in the city. Have been a patron since their time on Jones Avenue.

Atrocious customer service. We ordered and paid for an item for pick up in store, when we got there they said it had already been picked up. No proof, no documentation, just their word. We were told, by the owner, "if the computer says the order is filled, end of story". When pressed they told us they never make mistakes and that there was zero recourse. There was no interest in trying to find out what went wrong.

Phone calls and emails later, guess what? They had made a mistake. We then had to go back to pick it up a second time.

Look - mistakes happen. But Meeplemart's repeated inability to even rise to the lowest standard of customer service means I need to recommend to any and all to shop elsewhere. Toronto is becoming crowded with many fine options where your business is valued, where they treat you as a person instead of a presumed thief (where you don't have to check your bags at the desk, where you can talk to staff about the games you're buying, where you can play).

Avoid this store. I know I will.

Best place in the city for all your hobby needs. Great selection of games workshop products that are consistently stocked. The staff are great but don’t expect to be helped without asking. Overall great selection of products and the prices are usually cheaper than found elsewhere. Highly recommend.

I just called up less than 2 minutes ago. Some guy named David picked up. I asked if he could check something for me. His answer "I can't check as we are too busy. " This is the most ridiculous level of customer service I have experienced. If you are so busy, why do you even bother picking up the phone in the first place? I have called 401games, snakes and lattes and other places that are MUCH busier than this place and I have never heard such an answer from them in my life. I wish I could give 0 stars. I am glad this was my first experience as I have never bought anything in the past from this place. I will always avoid them in the future as well!

Great selection! Tons of board games, miniatures, card games, figures, collectibles, D&D rulebooks, terrain, paints, you name it! Staff is very knowledgeable, plus they've got wifi and a bathroom.

I was blown away by this place; how did I not know this was here!? Really amazing service, the guy who helped me find what I needed was super knowledgeable and had painted some of the great figures in their displays himself, clearly passionate about hobbying. 100% will come back for more!

Games, games, games. For an amateur board game player this place was a little overwhelming but I brought some dirhards and they helped me navigate. They have every possible game imaginable and some that were unimaginable. Board games, card games, deck builders, tile games, strategy, clearance section, figurines. This place has absolutely everything. I was in here for an hour and didn't feel like I saw it all.

Really just a beautiful haven of nerdiness. It made me happy just walking in the door. I wanted to buy all the dice, and games and everything.

Always a great experience shopping at Meeple. Due to my odd work hours I often opt to purchase stuff online, and thankfully their awesome selection is available online. Products always arrive nicely packaged and the delivery times make amazon prime seem slow.

In store shopping is also always a great experience. Staff are friendly and there's usually like minded customers as well. The bag check-in policy is actually something I completely agree with and see as a plus. Businesses like these where you have so many blind spots certainly have issues with theft. I work for a massive retail chain with dozens of cameras and very very few blind spots. Not to mention dozens of staff zoning the store. And theft is one of our biggest problems daily!

Holy selection, Batman! I practically got lost in the board game section, they have more figures/models than you could imagine and definitely have anything else you could be looking for.

If you are into role playing games and have not been to meeplemart, you need to go. From minis to rules, boardgames to expansions, terrain, paints, dice markers, cards, advice. If you want somewhere to one stop shop for all of this and more, you need to make the trip. Knowledgeable staff, with friendly atmosphere. My advice, make sure you plan a good hour just to look around. If they made costco sized gaming stores, this would be it.

I've bought online from Meeplemart before - I've always been impressed with their selection but I can assure you, you have no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes until you see it in person. I had an opportunity to visit the retail store when I was in Toronto recently. The first visit I just toured the store and left because I was so overwhelmed with the selection. I came back however, and honestly wish i could spend an entire day just browsing. I've never seen so many wargaming supplies, rpg supplemental material and board games in one place before. And the prices on everything are super reasonable. Highly recommended if you're into wargaming, d&d, anime or board games.
