Meet Sushi and Boil

Came here for the first time today and ordered a couple of things from the menu that we knew we would like. The server arranged everything very nicely on a big dish for us. Very pleased with the service and cannot wait to try the seafood fried rice and seafood boil next time

AMAZING SEAFOOD BOIL. I will never go anywhere else when I'm craving a seafoood boil. I've ordered on Uber like twice in a week because I'm hooked. The houseblend is DELICIOUS. I'm so glad I found this store. EVERYTHING taste so fresh! Everyone - please go check them out for their seafood boil. It is way better than Captain's Boil.

This marks our inaugural experience with their sushi, and we opted for the mixed party tray through UberEats. The presentation of the sushi tray was strikingly beautiful, complemented by an adorable lunch box. The flavors were delightful, with most sushi being exceptionally fresh, though the red tuna rolls seemed a tad less vibrant in taste. All in all, our first encounter left us rather content.

We tried both the sushi/sashimi/bento and seafood boil menus for lunchtime during a weekday. If the review was solely based on the seafood boil, I'd give the restaurant a higher rating; they have good deals available (including daily special prices for certain types of seafood) and the sauce is tasty. However, I thought the sushi was only okay. I can see why people say it's good value for money, but the rolls we ordered were a little sloppy, and it just wasn't my thing-I'd prefer going elsewhere for sashimi/sushi. The service was good, and you can get a 10% discount for paying cash.

Food is clear and very yummy, one of the best places I tried but the woman ‏waiter with blond hair is very rude and unfriendly and need to retrain her. She’s the reason I will not come back.

Sushi is average in my opinion, definitely would probably eat elsewhere but the seafood boil was good. Reasonable pricing and the house sauce is good. Mild is a good amount of heat without breaking into a sweat but still flavourful. Seems like a lot of takeout business goes through here.

My only favourite food is beef fried rice. Mild spice beef cubes taste from heaven. I buy an extra of rice to have more food. They blend in my extra of rice for only cash $16.75. Comfortable seating with

I would recommend you give this place a try. They have a sushi special where you can get 4 types of rolls (6-8 pieces each), so total 32 pieces for only $14! That's the best deal I've found so far. And the size and quality of the rolls are amazing. Out of the 10+ times I've ordered here the Maki quality has always been consistent. I see too many places up their prices and lower the quantity and quality of the food. I also tried their seafood boil 1lb of shrimps/mussels and comes with 2 sides (choice of corn, potato or broccoli). So far have only tried the seafood boil in cajun flavour and I keep going back to it. First found this place off an Uber special for BOGO. You also get 10% off if you pay cash. Can't go wrong.

**Edit: The 4 rolls (32 piece Maki) is now $16 but still definitely worth it.

Very delicious sushi! Ordered take out from UberEats and I'm impressed by the packaging. Ordered 2 dynamite rolls (BOGO special on app) and the salmon set (can choose half or all sushi or sashimi). The salmon sushi has very flavourful rice with a nice cut of fish on top. The sashimi was a thick cut! The dynamite rolls had very fresh avocado and a nice texture overall. I would definitely order again!

I used to live in the area and took a trip down there after finding out that there was a relatively new sushi spot. First and foremost, the food was absolutely delicious and the customer service was A+. This has become my 8 year old's favourite sushi spot and she can't stop raving about the chicken teriyaki bento box. It's a small spot but it feels intimate and is very clean, with a modern aesthetic. Aside from the wonderful food, the prices are amazing. I just saw that they have a new location on Kingston road, which I will definitely be checking out!

Have gotten takeout from here as well as dined in, and service has always been good. The food is well priced and I recommend this place for a quick and simple meal.

Bought takoyaki from Meet Boil/Sushi and received an overpriced fried squid ball. Fried squid ball, thats it - with literally nothing on it. Each order comes with 5 half balls. I’m very disappointed!

Amazing restaurant! Amazing Sushi, extremely wonderful, funny, charming staff. I highly recommend this place. I've been 3 days in a row, have brought friends and neighbours and it's always a great place I'd recommend! Cheers.

The cajun boil is fresh, tasty and presented great through delivery! We had shrimp, corn, potatoes and lotus root. The bakes muscles are also amazing. I should have taken a pic but dug right in! Shrimp could have been cooked a tad less but was still great.

Sushi was decent price was okay service was mid idk why the server be staring at us. Too many flies

THE BEST SUSHI IN THE CITY THEY HAVE AMAZING QUALITY AND QUANTITY the price is also amazing I will never stop coming to meet sushi so happy I found my favourite sushi spot it was hard to find good sushi in Scarborough but I will never go anywhere else trust me it’s worth the trip!

I got a chirashi bowl here. The servings are generous and the fish is delicious. Presentation is really something. I think the shrimp is not something that's great super raw. I was expecting something more white/pink.

We tried their sushi through Skip the dishes tonight and oh my god. We are in love. Do order their Spicy Golden California Roll and Crab Sushi Pizza! Sooo Good! I'm definitely ordering again

I think there was a change in ownership. New food tastes absolutely disgusting and rotton. I also found insects in their packaging and cabbage. Would highly advice to avoid!

Tried dine in for the all you can eat shrimp boil etc.the sauce was so bland snd the shrimp wasnt cleaned and had blood gushing out of most pieces. The sushi is still 5+ and I’ll stick to take out! Original review -Third time in the past week ordering. Stumbled on it by chance.sushi is super fresh, reasonably priced and the presentation is cute! The salmon for the rolls they provide are nice thick chunks and not the small mushy kind other spots provide. All this + deep fried dumplings (ate already) was only $18
