Meineke Car Care Centre

I started going to Meineke last year for tire + oil changes. It seems the more I use these guys, the longer I wait. The appointment I had in April of this year, I waited 2 hours, which I can understand if they were really busy. But yesterday's appointment for the same work, it took them 3 hours. So next time, I will have to wait 4 hours? No thanks, you have lost me as a customer. Having an appointment is not any better than walking in.

Tire change service was quick with an appointment ofcourse. Gave decent deal on tire storage too

Auto mechanic by day, immersive dubstep DJ by night/after business hours. Needs better selection of music - especially the Sunday and Wednesday night 1am crew - Keep hearing the same boring tunes every time I walk by. Also needs to play louder/more speakers as music becomes a bit harder to hear from 3 blocks away.

Thank you for all the help you guys did to my civic si owner is easy to talk to really friendly and will always make your car there priority on any time of the day when you needed a update its always coming from the big boss it self thank you so much for making my si run again looking forward to go back if ever i have any car problems in the future.soon ill be back for more parts installation looking forward for my future discount ahahahaha THX BOSS RESPECT

Not a very good experience.
Went there to get the oil changed.i opted for online package which included oil change, tire swap, brake inspection, fluid top ups, battery check.
After taking aprx 2hours i was handed over the car without any go through that if all the things are perfect or not.i was in hurry so left immediately but when i checked there is no fluid top up, still unclear if my breaks and battery is in good condition.they lack customer service.the guy who did the car works seems bit rude or arrogant.receptionist was fine with her work.definitely not going there again or recommending

Persons I interacted with were accomadating and efficient. Got that sense of honesty - which can be misplaced with mechanics - when dealing with them.

I went today to get my car safety with certificate. The price for it is on higher side $109 + tax but I got an appointment pretty quick so was satisified with that.
But once the safety was done, i took the document to service ontario and they rejected it. Pointed out the mechanic has written a completely different VIN no. I was shocked. Not only it wasted my time to stand in service ontario line for 1 hour and now I had to buy $15 temporary plate for few days. Went back to the shop and they gave me the new certificate and when pointed out the inconvenience they just said "sorry". I wanted a refund of $15 atleast that I had to spend more because of shop's error but they didn't entertain.

A mistake can happen but what makes a difference is to own up to it and provide resolution with empathy. I found it missing.

I went here to get my car's A/C repaired but all they did was waste my time and took my money. I paid for the inspection fee of $69.95 to determine what was the issue but the mechanic spend almost 3 hours just to tell me they needed more time to run a scan diagnostic. They were going to charge me $110 + the time charges to complete this. The receptionist and mechanic gave me different answer on the charges when I asked if I could return at a later time because I had an appointment later that day. The mechanic didn't seem to be knowlegable and was having a hard time figuring out what the issue was. It wasn't a busy day so I expected to be out of there within ample time. Their service is slow and will milk the time to charge you without fixing anything. Very dishonest location and will not be returning here again.

Why i hate mechanics.
Told them to replace starter, but insisted to scan and charge me 110 to tell me its the starter. Don't think i will be back or recommend this place.

Was at this location a few weeks ago for a safety on a 2018 vehicle. They did a thorough job giving a recommendation of something minor that should be done soon, but I was impressed with the honesty, since most franchises, or any mechanic for that matter, will be looking to nickel and dime you and fabricate repairs or maintenance that "needs" to be done.

It's a little out of the area for me, but I think I'd feel comfortable bringing my car here again. Unfortunately I forgot the name of my tech that was doing the safety, but he was an older gentleman.

Overall, I was skeptical going in, but went away impressed. Thanks guys.

Exhaust leak due to broken clamps was repaired. Great service from the lady scheduling the appointment, to Avi and his team communicating the current condition of the exhaust system. Much appreciated.

Apparently my exhaust was done properly I just didnt know. Everything was done perfectly on their part. MASSSIVE APPOLOGIES!

I went in to get my oil change and a noise in the front end inspection. Very pleased as they found the noise and repaired so my vehicle is safe.

Very expensive bad EXPERIENCE, rude behavior, bad customer service i never go back again.i suggest no one go there for repair and to buy any thing very expensive there price are double then market. They just charge the price for labour just move the car from outside to garage without fix any thing.very bad mechanics.

This is bad experience for me with meineke because the appointment is delayed by 2hr so I cancelled my appointment

Honest and very knowledgeable. They'll tell you exactly what's wrong with your vehicle. They're quality of work is outstanding.

Very bad business ethics.pure RIP off and goons threat to confiscate and damage the vehicle. Never go here if you love and care for your car. Contact better business beauro (BBB) if they make up extra bill of not doing anything on your vehicle. Call police too as they threat to confiscate you car but they can't as vehicle is your property.and for bill of doing nothing can go to court. Police will help in getting your vehicle back. Disgusting people takes the original parts out and replaces with old ones.on bill they mention "customer wishes to discard old parts". BEWARE.

1 star because they did not fix my truck, and they caused other problems to steal money. The wires to my battery were eroded so I had to strip the wires back and soak my battery terminals in vinegar to remove the erosion, these guys seen a nick in my drive belt and swindled me into cutting it on the spot. Be very cautious bringing a vehicle here, they'll do what they have to for a buck and not put real work in to find the actual problem.
