I being coming to this restaurant for years! Except last year! Service is vwry poor! Unfortunately. Servers put the fingers inside the cups soup, the coups tea, forks where u gona put it in your mouth. I asked very politely to change me the forks and they did! But still finger all over the place. Definitely no recommend i try if you are high in hygiene, and with Covid raising this is a no no. I couldnt eat, my kids didnt care they did eat, say food still good. Oh it takes a long time to get ur order

In an area with a huge selection of asian restaurants, many of which are the best in Ottawa, Mekong really manages to stand out. It’s fairly small inside with simple decor, but the food quality speaks for itself. The dim sum menu was great, but the real standout for me was the shrimp & eggplant in chili sauce dish — the flavour was INCREDIBLE. I’m going to be thinking about the delicious melt-in-your-mouth texture of that eggplant for ages. I’m already looking forward to when I can come back and have it again!

Excellent food fresh and very tasty. Owner is very friendly so is the waitress, she would recommend if you like to try some thing different. Love the robot

Ambience great to start but ruined by a brightly lit robot server touring the room to deliver food playing music that clashed with the nice music playing in the restaurant. Loved the fried wontons I ordered. Didn't like the (apple?) sauce paired with my veggie spring rolls.

Ordered based on the reviews and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and freshly prepared. Even the fortune cookies were fresh! Highly recommend!

Super delicious food, with lots of items to choose from. Highly recommend the five spice shrimp. Service was excellent! Will be back!

Best General Tso's chicken and crispy beef in the city in my opinion, all their dishes sre excellent and staff is extremely friendly, been coming here for years.

I was back last week for the first time in 8 years while visiting Ottawa and it was just as amazing as ever. A real hidden treasure!

It's just as good as I remembered. All things considered these days, reasonably priced, too. I look forward to going back.
