Cranberry Lake is absolutely beautiful. The lodge and cabins are ideally located to cruise and fish 3 lakes and the Rideau system. A very good launch ramp, ample parking, water toys, a swim ladder, docking slips, premium gasoline.all are available. Amy, the charming and helpful manager made our visit very special. Rt

Mr H is awesome. He is very good Facilitator, when you go ice cream is always great specially its free complements from Mr H

Great place to relax and have fun. The hosts are also nice and accommodating to the guests needs. They have upgraded us to a better cabin, as it was available, at no extra cost.

Looked like it was a great place for a vacation. I was only out for a few hours for a visit. My friend goes there every year, she loves it.

It was not clean. It is near the water and the location was good. If the place was clean with fully functional kitchen it would have been better.

Spent Canada Day weekend at one of their lodges, couldn't have a better time. The place was nice, the water was amazing and the owners were making sure we were well taken care of. Definitely will be back again soon

This was our first time at Melody Lodge and we will be coming back! Richard, Shaun and Mr. H were all great gentlemen. My nieces have never been to a cottage before and they loved it. We met some great people and they were first timers too and they loved it too.
The loons on the lake and the water snakes the stars at night that go on forever. We took out boats on 2 days and my 10 yr niece caught her first bass! (we let it go) the fishing was good and the lakes were beautiful. They loved the giant floating trampoline and water mat.
The rental for the boats were affordable. They even lent us a marine map!
I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

My family and I just got back from a week of making memories. Perfect Picturesque views of the water, peace and tranquility. Mr H Shaun and Richard were very hospitable and attentive to all our needs. We stayed in the Walnut Cabin. Perfect shower temp and water pressure most importantly. Everything worked the way it should. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. From initial booking to the time we arrived there were numerous upgrades to the Cabins. Shaun’s vision is very progressive I am sure the upgrades are going to be awesome. Highly recommended.

The owners and their dad are super friendly and welcoming. Great family fun vibe, excellent ice cream!

Richard and Shawn are great owners. Property is being renovated but is clean, everyone was super helpful and very nice to deal with. Rented a cottage for a week.

We have been coming to Melody Lodge every year for many years, and have always had good times there. James was very kind, helpful and accommodating, and it seems new owners and staff have inherited that. New upgrades inside cabins and some changes outside made our stay more enjoyable, and the newly added water trampoline also made our kids (actually young adults) enjoy the water more.

The lake side surroundings and views are great, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Fishing is excellent and I broke my personal weight records for both bass and pike this time!

Looking forward to our next vacation there during the Civic long weekend.

Worst spot to go camping, new owners are noisy and have 0 respect for privacy. There is no tent sites, and broken glass everywhere.surprised my tires didn’t pop! As well as it literally sounding like we were on a construction till 12am at night, no thanks! Not a recommended place at all!

Great place and host! We had the best camping experience ever. Kids love the water activities very much. They had the awesome fireworks on CanadaDay. Definitely recommend！

I went to see this place for myself before booking a cabin. I found out it was under new owners and management. Wow have they ever cleaned up their lodge and cabins. Fresh paint, repairs of stairs, very friendly staff and the fishing is good. I will be happy to stay there. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful to welcome the day or finishing your peaceful night.

The best place go fishing, sunrise like foreverland, tremendous feeling ever, I wish I will come back soon!

I had a lot of fun with my friends. It was a great experience! Everything was exemplary, from the cabins to the lake! I can't wait to go back there once quarantine is finished!

The lake house is beautiful and the scenery is magnificent. It is just the right place for us enjoying the summer. We have been there at least once a year since 2012 and are looking forward to coming back this summer!

James was a very welcoming host and his kindness and beauty of the outdoor atmosphere (lake) almost makes you forget that the accommodations are less than desirable. Would not recommend this to anyone who is looking for more than a rustic, dated, old, moldy cabin. I would have been happier pitching a tent and bringing an air mattress. The location is beautiful, but was not happy with the "cottage".
So, if you are NOT expecting to be sleeping/ eating in a clean, modern, well kept living space, and can look passed undusted furniture, ripped futon, dead bugs in all windows, you will be okay with this place.
If you're looking for a modern cottage, our even something from the 90's, keep moving on.is not for you. No matter how beautiful looking at the lake is.
James makes a great host and will be there for any questions and concerns, but this cottage was 30 years past its due date for me.

Everything was awesome! Beautiful property as well as cottage and James has to be one of the nicest, Most accommodating people I have ever met we’ll definitely be back again this summer

Staying at the deluxe cottage with 9 adults and one child. The place is very comfortable and well equipped (with pots, plates and cutlery). We got all the food supplies we needed which was great as it’s a 15 mins drive to the nearest grocery store. James is very friends and answered all our questions.

The lake is near, canoeing is possible and it’s a popular spot for fishing so you’ll find many people doing just that.

Definitely a pleasant spot for a large family or groups of friends.

Just reached back home after an almost 2 day stay.the office guy was extremely caring.on the day of check in we got extremely late due to some unexpected reasons and reached the resort at 11.15 PM. James was patiently waiting for us and welcomed us with a warm smile. I was feeling extremely guilty for troubling him this late in the night. He showed me the cottage and left for the night. Next day we had a nice experience with the barbecue and they are available in large numbers across the place and I didn't have any waiting times nor was anyone waiting for us to finish.the place is divine and refreshing. The rooms are aesthetically made with nice views.people with boats can have greater fun but for people who don't have one this is a perfect weekend getaway in the nature's lap to unwind from the tortures of city life.thanks James for making our experience a memorable one.
