Dev is absolutely amazing! He knows how to keep a toddler calm and does the job very well! Everyone is nice here but Dev does our little boy’s haircut and we are very impressed!

First time getting my daughters hair cut professionally. Carmela was absolutely amazing. She was very patient and welcoming with my daughter. She also provided great styling advice as we want to grow my daughters bangs out and answered any questions we had. Carmela also took the time to make my daughter feel special by putting clips in her hair, sparkles and giving her a first hair cut certificate. I also appreciated that Carmela asked us along the way for these things. Great job. We will be back!

They don't answer the phone, not a very welcoming place. Booked an appointment for Saturday, showed up and they told me they booked for Sunday, didn't care to accommodate as they made a mistake, so I walked out.

I got my daughter's haircut from them twice and a very pleasant experience. My daughter fussed a little, but they were very cooperative and patient. They also gave first haircut certificate the first time I got my daughter's haircut done.

Melonheads is the best for the kids haircut, Anu is our favorite hairstylist.she always does an amazing job for my both kids haircut. She is very patient and always makes them so much comfortable.

August 2023 edit: Like we said, we have been with Carmela, and our son is now super comfortable and in fact, enjoys his haircut sessions.

Got our toddler his 3rd haircut here, and his first was with Carmela.
She is magical, works with high speed, and she knows how to navigate a crying child's sudden head movements.
We even got a '1st Haircut' certificate to preserve. Although I personally feel $35+ is pricey, I also feel its justified given the unpredictable infant heads they work with.

However, it is Carmela for us, all the way.

It was a great experience as always as Melonhead.
Dev was as always very cordial and engaging which helps in keeping the lil one happy and wanting to be back here everytime for a haircut

What an absolutely amazing experience. They were very mindful of my sons first hair cut, and made him super comfortable. They let my son choose what he wanted to watch on YouTube, and the barber kept him engaged and distracted. We even got a line up. Drove from Brampton, and will 100 percent make this trip to this location again!

My 4 year old twin girls had an amazing experience, and they really enjoyed their time with hair dresser Vanessa.

Good for small children but the talent of the hair stylist will vary. When you are charging $30+ for a child's cut, you should be able to knock out a great fade and not a first choice cut

For the first time ever my 2 year old son sat through the entire haircut. He even stopped crying after few minutes. I would recommend it to everyone with kids. Amazing and life saviour for me

My son had a great boys fade haircut done here. I didn’t get the name of the man that did his cut but he did an amazing job, even when my son was super ticklish with the clippers. They also used kid safe coloured spray in his hair and my son loved it! Will definitely come again.

Love this place, we got our toddlers hair cut done, they have a lot of things to keep the child engaged and distracted from cutting. Staff is very well trained and know how to deal with kids.

Staffs were very accommodating. Our daughter loved it and was calm during the entire process. They also give you a nice certificate congratulating to have a hair cut.

Aman did my Sons haircut. He is the one who would never sit for a haircut. He is 2 and a change and had insisted that he would only sit in Thomas n do a hair cut. We did take an appointment so we got the Thomas sit. They did a very good job.

Took my daughter for her first haircut. Hairstylist Anu was amazing and very caring. She carefully shaved my daughter's head and also shared some tips to help my daughter get thicker hair. Highly recommend Melonhead for infants haircut.

Anu is amazing when it comes to kids haircut! My son is very fussy and sensitive when it comes to haircut. But Anu has been absolutely patient and caring. She is excellent at what she does. My son can now sit through the 15-20 minutes without any distractions. A very happy mother:)

HORRIBLE STAFF!
I went for my boy's haircut. I reached a few minutes late due to another appointment I had with my doctor. The salon was completely EMPTY, NOT EVEN ONE CUSTOMER WAS THERE. STAFFS WERE ALL SITTING IDLE. Still they refused to do my boy's haircut, and asked to come after an hour.
Such pathetic service by the staff! Eventually we went to another shop that did an amazing job for a much cheaper price (almost half the price). NEVER GOING TO MELONHEAD AGAIN.
I recommend everyone to please look for other good salons nearby.
