I recently used Memofix services and can't say enough great things about them! I had been quoted way less than 3 other quotes and I am thrilled to say I got my data which I thought was lost forever! Pictures of my children and documents that were important are now back to me. They were professional, quick, their updating service was awesome and I knew what was going on with my drive. Excellent experience. Memofix was able to recover essentially all the data from a defunct HDD, at a reasonable cost. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I had an old PC computer with important documents and lots of family photos. I took it to the Geek Squad in Woodbridge and they recommended that I go to Memofix Data Recovery. I took my unit to Memofix and within a day, I was told that they could retrieve all of my data. I was given the estimate, which I found to be very reasonable, considering no other local computer stores could even help me. I gave the go ahead to retrieve my data and within 48 hours, I was able to have all of my information on a portable backup. Friendly staff. Very competent and reliable. I would highly recommend this company.

After realizing our external hard drive was non responsive (and smoking) my wife and I were distraught at the thought that 9 years of photos of our 2 children were gone!

Highly recommend! I had a 3TB hard drive that crashed and I sent it to many other places and it kept coming back without results. A friend of mine told me about Memofix and I thought I would give it one last try. The service was incredible! My experience with Memofix was great. I had two hard drives that were in a Raid1 (mirrored) configuration, where both were electrically damaged due to a surge. The data was important to my business as well as personally, as I kept family pictures and videos on them too.

Bob was very helpful in arranging their pickup and drop off and was in contact during the entire process, in most cases replying to emails within an hour or two.

All data was recovered successfully and though it was an expensive service, you get what you pay for. They are known to be one of the best data recovery companies in Canada and they lived up to my expectations.

In 2004, during an office move, I lost ten floppy discs containing irreplaceable data. A decade later the discs resurfaced in another office move, but by then 12 years had passed, and so many technological evolutions had come and gone that I'd given up hope. People said to forget. Not going to happen. Even the guys at the major tech companies couldn't help. I'd given up looking for someone—anyone who could help me—and when I found Memofix. These folks took this on as a personal challenge, and in 24 hours they had completely resurrected my long-lost data, originally in MacWrite II no less! I just now plugged the thumbnail into my computer and—boom, baby—my work was there. Got a data problem? These folks are the best that ever was.

Great professional service from Memofix! I had brought them 2 failed storage devices, one 5TB portable and one desktop 500 GB HDD, both of which were totally unrecognizable when connected.

They were successful in recovering all of the data from both devices! What a great relief!
They provided an estimated quote, based on problems described which was comparatively reasonable, maintained the quoted price upon successful recovery and transferred the data to a new device, also reasonably priced. The process was completed in a one week turnaround.
Overall a great experience and I would totally recommend their quality services to anyone in this situation.
It can't be stated enough to make sure to have a regular backup strategy in place after such an experience. If not, feel assured in the services of Memofix. I hope to never need their services again, but I would not hesitate to use them if so.

I was recommended to come here by Best Buy after they weren't able to access my hard drive. I came in to Memofix 10 minutes before closing in a panic because I had a presentation the next morning and couldn't get into my laptop to access my presentation. David and Bob did everything they could and SUCCESS! They gave me my file on a USB within half an hour. Lifesavers! Would highly recommend. Thank you for your help!

Cannot recommend them enough. Service was impressive and they managed to recover my data on a large RAID 5 with 2 failed disks. This was not an easy recover. Not only did they get my data back, their prices were lower than most competitors and the service was top notch. Bob even did me a solid and hand delivered my RAID back to me. These guys are top notch.

I am so grateful for Bob and the team at Memofix that was able to recover my files after my iPhone AND backup USB crashed on the same day. Bob was extremely helpful on the phone and the process was quick and easy to drop off the USB key, assess the ability to recover the files, and return them to me.

I appreciated their policy of only paying if the data is recovered, and I believe the prices charged are fair for their services.
