We contracted MENATWORK for our design & build project involving a full gut and 3rd floor addition to our 100-year-old house. We are thrilled with the finished project and have been extremely satisfied with the whole team’s professionalism, responsiveness, and competence - particularly from our project manager, site manager, designer, and architect. They were highly communicative and collaborative throughout the process and continue to lend their support with finishing touches and minor repairs. We developed a lot of trust in their team and are confident in the quality of the work. We’d happily use them again for future projects.

We used MENATWORK for two separate projects, and each time it's been an educational and enjoyable experience. The team is very responsive and helpful. Embarking on a project when the process is unfamiliar to you can be daunting, but we felt like we were in great hands from beginning to end.

I would give negative stars if possible. The most inappropriate and unprofessional company that you could ever deal with. They started construction on a neighbour’s house 3 years ago and it has been absolutely awful the whole time. The employees are incredibly obnoxious, rude, and entitled. They constantly start work before 7 am including on weekends, had a truck with the reverse beep on for hours on a Sunday morning, play very loud music early in the mornings with such aggressive bass that our windows were literally shaking, repeatedly litter and leave construction garbage on the sidewalk and in our yards, block the sidewalk, road, and entrances to houses with their vans and trucks for long periods of time with no way to get around the vehicles easily, have caused damage to surrounding houses, and yell and swear at people who try to talk to them. We have all called the city multiple times to complain about their behaviour but the contractor is rude and refuses to do anything to change. Use them at your own risk, but know that your neighbours will hate you.

Hired them to design and build a second storey renovation. They won our business with a low price estimate, then after the design process is completed revealed a much higher price. At this point we had no deliverables except a design plan, which cannot be used in the permitting process. Be very very very careful when dealing with them, their initial estimate is going to be way lower (almost half) of their final estimate and you'll end up paying a lot for not continuing past the first phase.

We enlisted Men at Work to renovate the main floor of our 100 year old house in west Toronto. Highly recommend this company. They are extremely organized, professional, and very responsive. The designers, project managers, and contractors were all skilled and a pleasure to work with. We are more than thrilled with the high quality beautiful main floor they completed for us. Renovations can be stressful, but they don’t have to be if you hire the right team. 

Absolutely terrible communication skills. Do not use overpriced with no communication the two worst things you could ever have in a construction business

Be aware of them coming in your neighborhood! This company started construction work next door after April 4th when most of us is staying home trying to keep the virus spread to minimum. The construction workers don’t follow any social distancing rules, spitting all around.etc. The equipment is loud from 7am.no consideration or whatsoever. Simply ignorant at the time when nobody can leave not to hear it and many people are working from home.

Men at work do some slab work that was supposed to be ready for tiles and finished for a free standing tub.

It was so bad I had to make a campaign via Instagram to get some free materials so the customer wouldn't have to pay more out of her own pocket

We have been contacted numerous times and threatened by a construction manager and someone else in this company who had privately approached us to request that we gave a quote on a project. Once we had done this and won they started demanding that we give them money privately before the project is awarded to us or that the contract is cancelled. High caution is required when doing business with this team.
