Mer Bleue Bog

Superbe sentier, très facile, bonne interprétation du milieu sur des affiches faciles et agréable à lire. Une heure suffira pour faire le tour.

La tourbière Mer Bleue est un attrait naturel des plus intéressants de la Ceinture de verdure. Lors de la randonnée j'ai vu de nombreux oiseaux, plantes et animaux sauvages. Très occupé les fins de semaine. Un bel endroit à visiter!

Well maintained, though the highway noise is noticeable. The signs need a major face lift.

I was less than impressed. There's a nice picnic area and some wild turkey. Not the drink, the bird.

Great scenary. Information signs are informative, but have a lot of sun fade. Great photo opportunities along the wooden path.

Beautiful views. Serene atmosphere. Perfect place to come, relax and contemplate while doing a quiet and easy walk. Especially stunning in the fall season.

I love this place! Well cared for trail system, and the boardwalk is fantastic.

Not quite sure why dogs aren't allowed, but regardless, one of our favorite hiking locations.

It's very amazing Fall season. I had been visited Mer Bleue Bog few days ago. I love it so much

Peaceful place, we could easy to walk around. People said it will become a silver world in winter, looking forward to be back if have a chance

Came here to walk around on Christmas day. The bog has a wonderful walking trail away from cross country skiing. Wonderful views, well maintained trails.

Came over summer and still a wonderful trail

We're happy to walk along the boardwalk here again while in Ottawa. The beautiful fall foliage and the wildlife animals are bonus to our leisure walk.

Maybe this qualifies as a destination to go to in this accursed province, if you like being eaten alive by bugs on a humid day then this is for you. The boardwalk is neat. If you just drive right up to the boardwalk loop instead of going through the paths in the bog to get there you'll have a better time.

Beware i was there today on september the 16th and like always i had a bag of wild bird seeds to attract the birds to come and feed in my hand like i have done in the past and others still do but today there was a conservation officer in his truck that intercepted me by saying bird feed wasnt aloud on the trail as i was shocked by this because i never had a problem and no signs are posted to not feed the birds in my hand just a heads up and wanted to know if someone else might of had this problem other then that this is a beautiful walking trail to see wildlife.

The one star is for what i wasnt aware of and crossed other people with bags of bird seeds at the start of the trail.

Gorgeous and interesting walk suitable for nearly anyone. It's a bit short, but it's very pleasant.

If you like nature and a peaceful setting, you will enjoy this very pleasant walk through the bog and swampy area. At least 50% of the walk is on a boardwalk (wood-based) platform.
