Thanks a lot for all staff -Yakov and the waitresses Letti and Baby. Group of 19 people were sited for dine in. All food was just perfect cooked and delicious. Ordered chicken shish kebab, kefta, New York steak and ribs. All meat was juice and cooked to perfection. The salads are good too. We enjoyed our meal. Meron-is #1 restaurant for Mediterranean food in Toronto area. Would recommend to all my friends

Food is great. Place is clean. But they give attitude. That’s something they haven't improved on in 15 years. (The owner not the workers)

Meron and the staff (Tom, Yakov and the waitresses (Letti, Baby) and cooks: David) are always pleasant, kind and the food is always clean, consistent and delicious. Their espresso is the best - even when compared to Europe.

What a great experience at Meron's. Have been going to get my self a dinner here for a past year and half (if not more). Always left the place with full stomach and happy vibes. The food is amazing, there is no words to describe the taste of a dark chicken, they definitely add sprinkle of love when they make it. Recently got a chance to try out their Ribeye steak and WOW, that's where the real deal is. The staff there is amazing and super friendly! The best part is that they are 5 min away from my house, so if I don't wanna get my plates dirty I always stop by to grab my self a wonderful dinner! Food 10/10, staff 10/10 location 10/10. Keep it up guys

Bad service. Mediocre food. Paid $58 for 2 skewers 2 salads and rice; no bread, no drinks, take out. Long wait time while owner served customers jumping the line and catered service to his friends. I was hoping this would be a good place based on the reviews, but sadly it is not and I will not return.

I can say the food is awesome! Had the chicken pita shawarma. As for the service, yes it was quick but the lack of enthusiasm is what annoyed me. The girl making my order seemed like she was annoyed or just didn't want to be there. The guy taking my money seemed a bit unenthusiastic as well. Now I am not saying they should jump up and down and excited to serve but a smile and eye contact would be nice because without customers you wouldn't have a job.

This place is great, fresh and delicious food priced reasonably, one of the best shawarmas I've tasted, including in Israel.

Clean, nice smelling restaurant that greets you by your name, what more can you ask.

This place is consistent. Been going there for years and the food is always fresh and high quality. Great staff and super clean environment. Nice atmosphere too. On top of everything the value is probably the most impressive thing considering you WILL likely get lesser quality for double or even close to triple the price at other places. Always feels good walking out knowing I had such a beautiful meal for such a good price and I think that’s what keeps me going back there. Full transparency, I’ve never tasted better Shawarma anywhere else in the city. Highly recommended!

Best place to eat in the area. Always clean quick and fresh! This is a very well run and executed establishment. Their food and staff is a testimonail to this statement. Good for quick or more extended visits with minimal to larger parties. Always accommodating and a good time. Thank you guys!

One year later and still perfect each and every single time. Vegetables always super fresh. Everything on the menu cooked perfectly. Falafels to go for a snack later is my new favorite. Relaxing atmosphere. I always walk out feeling recharged. Best food in the city!

Even during the quarantine food and pickup service still ON-POINT!

Tasty as always. Very kind staff, fresh food, great laffas, big variety of delicious salads. I wish they'd continue making their food a little saltier as they used to. Their portions are huge! If you are a petite person ask them to cut the laffa in half with an option to share with someone or take the rest home.

I'm not even finished my meal yet and had to write. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I got lamb and rice. I opened it and thought it looked plain but it's the best, most flavourful lamb I've ever had in my life. Puts Jerusalem to shame, Puts the lamb at the Skylon Tower to shame. How could I ever go back to Osmows? !

The person at the front was very rude and ignorant. He has no customer service or respect for customers. Horrible experience do not recommend this place.

I ordered catering for a small amount of people. They have the best BBQ chicken I’ve ever tried. Amazing taste and so very tender. Customer service was great as well. I will order again, and again … very happy with Meron

A great place to go for "take-out" or a casual "dine-in" experience. Menu is robust - plenty of choices for me. In fact, this has become my go-to place for a meal. Thankfully, I live nearby so can stop without much driving. If you are in the neighbourhood, stop by for a meal. You will not be disappointment.

Horrible customer service! The man behind the counter was arrogant and very belittling when taking the order. I do not recommend this restaurant, please save yourself the hassle. The food was horrible as well. I would give zero stars if I could.

After trying other popular Falafel places, none compare to this incredible place. HUGE stuffed Laffa Sandwiches, VERY GENEROUS with all their toppings. Double the size sandwiches (laffas) than other places. Their fried eggplant salad (red) is the best ever, delicious! I would never go elsewhere. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good Laffa/falafel sandwich.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a really long time. The guy at the front taking orders has a stinky attitude. Food was mediocre at best.

Very rude, ignorant staff. Rude man behind the counter mumbled comments under his breath (with another man) at me when I picked up a DoorDash delivery and they continued to huff and puff as I walked away. Will never go here again based on that alone and I will never recommend this place to ANYONE. EW.

Delicious Israeli/Mediterranean food, Always Fresh, Friendly staff. Slices of Turkey Shawarma on the spit carved and straight into a fresh Pita pocket or large Iraqi style pita (Laffa). BBQ meat and chicken, Great Falafel and salad bar.

Recently tried a shawarma pita from this place after my friend kept talking about it, and it did not disappoint at all. Great meat, great toppings, great portions. Highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible restaurant. Disrespectful workers, doesn’t know how to respect customers at all. Over charged me for something that I didn’t even want. Proceed to talk in a very angry tone. If you’re running a business you should always put your customers first or at least shoe some sort of respect. No not recommend this place at all.

Been going here for years. Best shawarma in Ontario. Awesome people as well and the service is so fast and proper. Meron for life!

The first time when we ordered shawarma and a few hours following our order we were told they sold out - we said fine. But when the second time following the third and fourth. That is not ok. We ordered shawarma ahead of time knowing Meron sold out fast, and came a few hours to the restaurant to pick our order up, just to be told they are yet again out of shawarma. Why not saving it to the customer who pre ordered it?
Now we ordered through Uber and guess what.comes the time our food need to be here and the order is cancelled. I call to ask why and I am told that I was the one canceled it. I never had any problem with Uber and I most definitely did not cancel the order. I don't understand why and how it always happens.

Had a great experience having lunch here and desert, portion sizes are great value and had a wide selection of options. Would highly recommend stopping if you’re in the neighbourhood! Seating inside, take out options and very clean.

Amazing Israeli food! So glad to have found this place. The Kefta on Laffa and Malabi dessert were outstanding.

We had a great time here. Excellent portion sizes, great service, and reasonable prices. Make sure to try the kefta kabob and malabi! There is also plenty of parking around the back of there isn't a spot up front.

Worst food experience ever.

Ordered falafel sandwiches with lentil soup and fries.

Fries were stale and recooked it was so obvious that we couldn't even eat more than one.

The falafel sandwiches were bitter and since I ordered a side order of falafel I can see they were so over done that it was nasty to even eat.

The lentil soup was not lentil soup it was more like vegetable soup. Taste so bad my 2 year old didn't even eat it and she loves soup.

Will never order from here again.

My friends and I go here for the beef ribs a plate of these ribs are a game changer meaty and full of flavor and a signature salad with there great garlicky dressing. With fries yummy.the service is always great you won't be disappointed.

Meron to go, you are amazing! We chose Meron to cater for a large party of 48 guests! Tom, who helped plan the menu, quantities, variety of food was very professional and I felt that his suggestions were perfect.the quality and quantity of food was perfect with left overs for 4 people for a couple of days after the party.

The food was plenty and very tasty!

We’re definitely coming back for more and recommending meron to everyone!

There is only one little thing: we live outside the delivery area and could not have the order delivered but it’s a small issue. The order was perfectly timed to be ready for the requested pick up time which is very important as it was nice and hot when it arrived.

VERY BAD! You guys was busy on Friday and you gave shawarma that wasn't cooked! That bad and greedy!

Maybe I am the only one to rate one star since I am the first time customer and this will be my last time to visit this restaurant. The shawarma plate is more expensive than other shawarma restaurants. I even asked them to give me shawarma source which I used to ask other restaurants for. The guys who served me told me that we don't have that source. Funny shawarma restaurant does not provide shawarma source. Will never go there again.

Me Va Me was my favourite Israeli restaurant 15 years ago when it first opened, and then management started getting greedy, lowered their food quality and portions, while simultaneously increasing their prices. Then, I discovered Meron, and I have never gone back to Me Va Me since. Portions are still large, they still offer the baguette bread for sandwiches (which Me Va Me removed to save costs), and they still have all the delicious spreads and toppings (such as fried eggplant, fried carrot, baba ganoush, hummus, tabouli, and so much more). Also, their chicken schnitzel still is juicy and tastes great (unlike Me Va Me's thin slice of stale chicken). I am surprised Me Va Me has not gone out of business, because they are an absolute rip off and a disgrace to Israeli cuisine. Give this place a try!

I have a hate love relationship with this place. Some dishes like chicken skewers and falafel are good but some are not. I hate their laffa as well they never make it right. Service is usually not the best and the wait is long

Soooo good. Might be the best falafel I’ve ever had. We were actually walking towards a restaurant next door when we saw someone eating schnitzel on the patio that looked awesome and decided to give this a try. The schnitzel was also delicious! We will be back!

Really slow service. We waited for 50 min for our food. The food was subpar, the pittas were thin and dry, the hummus tasted weird and the lamb was not eatable. Would not go back

Great food, but what oh why won't they let you have a sandwich topping on the side rather than in the sandwich? Makes no sense to me!

I would love to give them 4 stars, because I like their food! But their cashier have some strange attitude and answers rudely every time I visit there! Be nice man! Waitress is so so.she forgot my drink and I was almost done I said excuse me and she said "WAHT DO YOU WANT"!

I regularly stop purchasing some food in this place. I enjoy the efficient customer service and well prepared food. Never disappointing.

One of the best falafels I've ever eaten, period! Different flavour profile from what I'm used to (Lebanese/Egyptian) but fantastic nonetheless! Highly recommended. Also had a salad platter and chicken skewers-the former more than acceptable and the latter amazing. Definitely going back for more!

First time visiting with the whole family. The food was great, the service was very very good but the lamb, the lamb was amazing! We fell in love with it.

Great value amazing falafel- best I had in Toronto. Humus is fresh and smooth- really delicious. Pita is good. The lamb was good but the pieces are too big too chew. Smaller lamb chunks taste better and have more flavour. It was very tender but not as good as I t could or should be! I like the is place prices are good - I want to try the shawarma asap

First time at Meron, was excited after viewing reviews but didn’t not feel welcomed. It almost as if everyone was in a bad mood. Not the best first customer experience.

Been a staple of mine for nearly 10 years. Amazing food and service. It does get very busy in the evenings so calm ahead if you have a larger order.

We ordered for a family takeout birthday meal and everything was fresh and delicious. The shawarma was superb.crispy, juicy and well seasoned. All the specialty salads were excellent and the Lafa and pitas were fresh. Highly recommend the restaurant.

This is no doubt one of the tastiest place to eat in the neighborhood. Whenever I come there I am highly satisfied. They keep their very high level service and the highest level of food they serve. You will be always satisfied with this place. Warmly recommended.

My friend brought me to this place about 3 years ago. The food there was so tasty that I kept thinking about it for a while.

One day I came back to this place again but the restaurant was closed and under construction. I was very upset because I thought that they closed for good.

Now 3 years later I decided to try my luck to find this place again in case if they moved somewhere else. I found them in the same building though lol. I guess they just had renovation back then. I was so happy! I ordered food from there 5 times in a row for the past week. I can eat this food every day and not get bored, because it is so fresh and flavourful.

Love this place! RECOMMEND!
