Recently I had a stellar experience with Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning, and I can't help but share the good vibes! So, our condensate pump decided it had enough and gave up on life – the discharge valve broke at the threads. Not cool, pump, not cool. But guess what? Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning swooped in like HVAC superheroes and replaced the entire pump, which, by the way, was a whopping 12 years old. I didn't even know they made things to last that long anymore!

Now, let's talk about Rocky, the technician. Dude was punctual – no "waiting around forever" stories here. Rocky was not just a tech; he was the superhero sidekick we didn't know we needed. He explained everything with a smile before diving into action. After he worked his magic, our place was cleaner than my grandma's living room. He didn't just fix stuff; he left it better than he found it. Kudos to Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning for having Rocky and the crew on the case. You guys' rock!

John Park came by my house for the yearly maintenance of my furnace. He was super friendly, helpful and clearly knows what he is talking about. I am giving this 5 star review for John and hope to have him come by again next year.

Unfortunately, Mersey Heating's call centre and administrative side is awful and I was very unhappy with the service this year. Scheduling the appointment was a nightmare and required me to call in and email multiple times before I could talk to a live person. Call wait times this year were awful compared to previous years and they really need to improve.

A few weeks ago Operations Manager, Farzan Waziri, came to our home to inspect our furnace and discuss installation. He was very informative, kind, professional and friendly.

Tuesday the team from Mersey, Rudy, Tony and Rayon came to install the furnace and check the cooling system. They were hard working, respectful, personable and took the extra time to explain everything to us. Everything was left spotless, they were so caring, trusting and kind.

We thank all of you for your professionalism and kindness.

I will highly recommend this company to others and thank you for leaving such an amazing great impression.

They were on time. 2 professional and nice people installed the AC very neatly and with no damage to the wall. I could not ask for a better installation and service. I did have experience with enercare and what these guys did today and their price is 1000x better than theirs. Highly recommended.

Had a Lennox mini split system installed 4 weeks ago. Issues from day 1- they are so loud and have intermittent clicking. Keeps us awake at night, the noise is at times extremely loud and startles us awake. Two techs came out for a couple of minutes and didn’t do anything to solve the problem. They can’t hear the noise in 5 minutes. I’ve been trying to get a manager to contact me the entire time to go over the issue and to take the system down (so much for their 2 year guarantee). I call daily and no one gets back to me. I am about to have a baby and really don’t need to be losing sleep due to the system at this point.

The installers also ruined a piece of furniture (my guess is they dropped something on it). They took a picture and said they would report to head office - zero follow up.
Installers left a bunch of cigarette butts in my yard, I picked up a countless amount and my toddler just found another one this weekend.

Overall clearly terrible management - no one cares to solve your problem. Something is clearly wrong with the compressor and or heads. Please remove them so I can figure something else out. I can’t continue to call daily to try and get a hold of management which is evidently non existent.

Thanks to Christian Elega for giving us a very professional introduction about house heating and air conditioning. One small detail, when he entered the room, he put a shoe cover over his shoes to keep the room clean, something other companies don't pay attention to.

They did a very good job and we are happy that the air conditioner is working great we just thought the price that we paid was a bit higher than we were originally quoted on the phone apparently it was due to the work being more laborious than anticipated.
We would recommend the Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning but would request for a written quote prior to have the work done which we will do in the future if we should need their services again.

Mersey stands out head and shoulders above other HVAC companies. Can't recommend them enough have used them to replace my furnace then later on my AC. Stick with them for their amazing, friendly maintainence and service. Rocky was amazing and so helpful. In an industry with so many awful rude and unaccountable HVAC people Mersey are on another level.

My gas furnace broke last year (October 2021) and I needed a new one asap before winter. After doing some research, I was referred to Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning through Costco. Jay, a Home Comfort Advisor, was knowledgeable and honest in his assessment and understanding about my needs and preferences. He walked me through the process and the options available. Although the initial quote was quite high, we were able to eventually settle on a reasonable price (I had already enquired other HVAC companies and was able to negotiate a price closer to what the competition was offering). What sold me was that they had lots of positive reviews online and the backing of Costco as their contractor. On the day of installation, the contractors were on time and very courteous. They kept me updated on their progress throughout the day and made sure I knew how to operate the new furnace before they left. Disposal of the old furnace was included in the job. It has been 10 months since the install and I have been very happy with my decision to go with Mersey. The new furnace has kept my family warm throughout the winter and it never felt inadequate. Due to the increased efficiency of the newer furnaces (our old furnace was 20+ years old), we even saw a reduction in our gas usage. I would highly recommend Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning for your HVAC needs. If you are a Costco Executive member, you may be eligible for additional discounts. Additionally, they have flexible payment options available so you don't have to fork up the money in one go.

Update - August 8,2022 - today Sonny came out to service both my AC and furnace. He was exceptional! I had full confidence in his work. He took photos of every step of the way and walked me through the results. I am so pleased with my yearly maintenance check. Thank you!

The reason for one star is that despite Mersey's failures, the techs themselves are very competent. I received bad service on AC unit repair. Kept getting bumped from scheduled appointments repeatedly. Three days and still waiting for repair during heat wave. This policy needs to change. I despair at what might happen in a cold snap.

Mersey Heating and Air Conditioning have been doing our HVAC maintenance for many years. They are responsive and call in advance to let you know technicians are enroute. Technicians take care while inside the home wearing protective booties. Of course, due to Covid, the technician was masked. The technician, Sonny Hwang, was professional and thorough. He showed me pictures of all the tests and explained each one. I am very pleased with the service.

Mussana was on time, listened to my details and concerns of my AC problem, and gave me clear options after checking a few things. In the end, he found a faulty contactor switch that showed clear signs of arcing and burning, and quickly replaced with no fuss. All good!

Been getting our furnace/AC serviced with this company for over 8 years now and everything has been good. Technicans are professional and knowledgeable. When it came time to replace our furnace we thought it would be natural to come to Mersey first.

We asked for an estimate and a sales representative came to our house andtold us that we needed to replace the AC unit as well. Tried offering humidifier and other pushy sales tactics. She tried to "educate" us on why we needed to replace both even though we just had it serviced yesterday and the technical already explained everything clearly. We told her we just want the furnace and just the estimate. No presentations. But nope she kept insisting.

Maybe listen to your customers when they tell you what they want. I get that you want me to buy a furnace an ac a humidifier and everything else that you sell but that's not gonna happen and we told you that straight from the beginning. No need for an hour and half presentation when I ask for a furnace. Just say these are the models we have thatll be good for your home and these are the prices. THAT'S IT! Simple. Don't waste my time when I told you what I want.

Edit: the technician called us and asked us to reach out to the manager. I guess the manager is too busy to reach out themselves. It's not like you didn't have our phone number. Needless to say we didn't make that call. If the manager too busy to call us we're certainly too busy to call them.

Resat came to service my furnace on December 24, he spent quite a bit of time looking at it and trying to help me which I greatly appreciated. In the end if he were to fix it it would be too costly as the furnace was older. I appreciated his honestly and taking the time to explain things to me.

Called Mersey as my gas fireplace pilot light would not stay on. The technician, John Park, was very professional, thorough and friendly. He cleaned the pilot light and had the fireplace up and running in no time.

Rocky from Mersey Heating & Air Conditioning came to my Townhouse. I was concerned about the lack of air flow from the vents in my living room & upstairs bedroom. He increased the air flow pressure from the Furnace. He also recommended that I clean the air ducts. He also recommended a register booster fan. I can feel more warm air through the ducts on the main floor now. He did a good job explaining how he would fix the problem.

This was my first time using this company and I recommend them 100% Rocky was on time for the appointment even gave us a call 1 hour before arriving at our home. He cleaned the fireplace and the issue we had disappeared. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. I will use their services again.

Dec 9/21 - Rocky Wang very quickly figured out my water leak. Fixed it right up and cleaned up the water mess. Rocky is very professional and courteous. Explained everything he was doing and showed me after the repair was made.

Had our yearly furnace maintenance done today by John Park #113185. Once again John did a wonderful, professional job for us. He is very knowledgeable and clearly explained what he did during his visit.
