Nice store with better options than the other local stores, like the no frills across the street, which doesn’t have a bakery, deli, or pre made food, metro does. Good selection of items and always clean.

I like going here because I hate NoFrills, as much as I liked the track "bananas" I still don't want to buy their bananas. I also hate Walmart which is self explanatory. Thanks for being my least hated grocery store.

Clean and not very busy. Very helpful staff.however, you can't scan a digital points card at the pump. You have to go inside to scan and pay, which is an inconvenience

This is my go to Metro store. Friendly staff, great customer service, fast checkouts, clean store, and well stocked! I attend this store every two weeks and I always enjoy shopping at this location. I have no complaints at all about this location compared to others I have been too.

This is a good store to visit. I like the wide aisles, and the bright lighting used in the store.

Nice location, good variety of specialty items. Well stocked. Clean. Not sure why the mall entrance is closed off. Don't like having to walk around to the other doors to get in. But other than that

Not sure why the food at parkway mall Metro is sooo much better than the one at Eglington square. The quality of the food is like night and day. Will definitely be getting my groceries from parkway mall Metro from now on!

This is my neighbourhood grocery store, everything is really organized and easy to find what you need. I recommended this place.

What a great store it's after a very friendly and helpful very clean cashiers do a great job they're very customer friendly

I always go here for the roast chicken and cheap lunch deals. They have a decent selection of La Rocca cakes which I frequently buy.

This Metro store appears to be one of the more neglected locations. Clean, but usually out of stock fast. The rose bouquets are always wilted and half dead, but the prices are still sky high

I’ve been going to this store with my family for years. Sadly l have experienced terrible customer service in the meat dept a few times now with a lady that works there towards the customers unfortunately which has put me off shopping there.

Ok for quick daily needs prices are high and the meat at this location is sub par compared to others

Bought Bausch +Lomb Preservision capsules at drug store, when we were putting our items in the cart we inadvertently left Preservision on counter by Florist. Got home realized item was missing. Called Metro left my number. No one returned it. Whoever took it, enjoy.

Clean and friendly staff. Not too crowded compared to Walmart and No Frills. Vegetable and meat are on a pricey side compared to No Frills nearby but you are paying premium for quality and customer service.

Cashier was rude and doesn't know how to bagged item neatly. Mixed meat to the cleaning supplies so I fixed it up but she told me to pay it now so she can serve the next costumer? !? !

The bakery has a lot of things to select from but the cakes are overly sweet and has so much icing and they are not always fresh the price is also very inconsistent for the taste of the cake my money is wasted never gong there again I don’t think they even deserve 1 star

Convenient hours, always clean, not too busy of a location either. Usually no lines to get in and carts sanitized upon entry. During the start of covid there were sometimes lines in the morning, but no more than a 5 minute wait.

A line up outside only five or six people, but inside not busy no lines at the cashier, lots of frozen turkeys if you still need one!

Expensive. Some time the products are not good. The shop is well maintained and is always clean and prestine.

The staff here are really nice and accommodating they need to give lessons to the Metro at Shoppers World

This rating reflects my latest experiences at the Metro, Eglinton square location. This rating reflects and is based on the attitudes of staff employed recently at this location and a few older employees. I went to update my. Metro airmiles and asked a question to the staff on duty, only to hear "deal with it yourself, go wherever you made the purchase to update your points, we cant help you here". I kindly explained that online purchases through cornershop doesn't update points, and I was told I could do that in store by showing the receipts. The staff replied " go where you purchased ". Whereas the other staff present didn't say a word or offer help. This is unacceptable. The problem with the answer she gave is that, first of all she didn't show any effort to see if she could help, so jumped to giving a reply right away choosing the easy way to turning me down, and secondly, her and the rest of staff present didn't even think for a second that their attitudes might have consequences on the store as a whole.
I don't care about the points, what I do care though is the lack of willingness to help or.listen to customers.

By the way, no smiles or any welcoming attitudes shown by the staff at the store.

Pretty good selection here. Just be sure to look at your fruit and veg to be certain it doesn't have mold.

Always impressed with cleanliness and organization of store. Food always looks fresh however prices are above other local grocers for exact same item and size. Need to add pretzel burger buns to inventory.
High prices keep this rating 4stars.

On the 17th of Dec 2019 at 12.45 Tuesday which is today I was buying some fish fillet and the young guy who work there did not have any customer service skills. I asked him if he has more fillet available but he ignored me and moved to the next customer
Guys like these should never put in to help customers. To the store manager please take this very serious

Metro is good when they have sales however buyer beware there food is the same as lablaws and the green store so go to the green store the prices are better for the same food

Good Metro with a great selection of products. They have organics, they have local food, and they have gluten free, dairy options available. The staff seem great, and the store seems clean and pretty new so a great choice for groceries. The one star off in the rating would have to be for the stocking of foods. Though they do have great selection of products, I often find that the consistency of products being on shelf is not very good. For instance they have all the items I could look for especially two specialty items that I can only find at Metro, but they often more than that are freshly out of those items when I go to the store. I often make a trip just for those two items that they carry exclusively and about 50% of the time find that the items are sold out. This has to do with ordering and stocking of products, and doesn't mean the rest of the store isn't great, but when you go out of your way for items that you have exclusively at your store, it is a bit disappointing to make a trip for no reason.

Very good place for your supermarket shopping. The prices are comparable with other superstores. Lots of options available for everything you need to buy. My go to place to buy the Silver Hills sprouted breads in Toronto. Lots of organic and healthy options available in many items.

At the For all you coin savers. They have a change machine that counts your Change. Then you can get your money at the tellers. Very convenient. Also very clean store. Every thing you need and more. Shop and drop. You go metro.

Love their deli/prepared food section and their fruit and vegetable section. Great selection of sliced fruit and vegetables too. Great customer service and friendly cashiers that not only don't mind bagging for you, they know how to bag properly.

Fine food, their ready to eat options vary in every store some are better than others. A little pricey sometimes but ok in general.

Im giving one star because of one of the staff, her identity is weighty big and very rude. Note to manager: don’t train new staff when shop too busy. Give training by stages. Don’t put a staff who dont know nothing during a long line! Don’t steal customers time!

Clean.the employees are helpful and the fruits are fresh and has a longer life than other supermarkets. Prices are a bit too high for the average working person but then this is Toronto.

You have to pay a quarter to use a shopping cart here which is an insult, there are not even apartment buildings nearby where people would take them to and my cart today was a disaster, it kept pulling to the left and to top it off when I was trying to pass through the conveyor belt with my food at the check out the cart didnt fit through! Everyone in line had to back up so I could reverse out and just return the cart, which also didnt fit into the cart in front of it so I left it with my quarter in it. Terrible.

This location recently underwent some renovations and it looks great!

The staff are lovely, and the selection of products is great.

If you need to buy TTC tickets, you don't have to buy them at the Customer Service counter, you can also buy them at the 1-8 items cashier lane.

I like going to this place for fresh meat. And if I'm short of time, they have fresh salad, hot lunches, and sandwiches to go at reasonable price. The place is clean and well organized. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Just make sure you bring your own reusable bag when you shop, or you have to pay for their plastic bag.

Decent atmosphere. Reasonably priced items. A little overpriced in comparison to other grocery stores for certain items. Very slow works at the food bakery section of the store. Not very clean. Worker used bloody meat gloves to touch food boxes. Long wait for checkout. Cashier just stands there, does nothing, ignores customers. Not very helpful.
