I've been shopping here for 20 years. Clean, well managed, good service. A little on the pricey side

Metro sucks. Everytime I go, I'm disappointed with their products, produce and service. This time they wouldn't honor a refund even though they had mislabeled their product. Sobeys or Farmboy would have, they always do. Cauz they value their customers over a bag of Tostitos chips. Just saying

More and more this is my store of choice. It's clean, and prices are cheaper than Sobeys by a lot. I just wish the staff was friendlier. They're not, that's why I give 3 stars. Could be much better. In-store culture starts at the top.

Great selection, always friendly staff and easy parking. Although the prices can be a bit steep for some items, it is worth the quality for the produce items

I have been shopping at Metro since they opened. All the original staff is still there which tells you That they are treated well. Everybody knows me and I know everybody. I love the store I love shopping there. I do not shop at the large places like Walmart or superstore because I want to support our local grocers. If we lose our local grocers we are going to be stuck with places like Walmart and superstore. That is not a good situation.

Nice place. Lot of choice. Friendly staff.
However, beware, they don't seem to rotate the milk. I have bought milk with the date expired on several occasions.

It was quick and easy on and out. Terrible that face blockers are still being worn, but the service was extremely friendly

The old woman at the bakery department in this supermarket is extremely rude. I am a regular customer here and whenever I pick up a cake, she never greets me and says any nice words like "thank you", "have a good day", etc. She speaks very aggressive and never smiles. I don't know she acts like this to other customers either but I feel bad every time I shop a cake here. The attitude is not professional at all. The quality and taste of the cakes and breads are good, though.

Very bad experience, I'm using the self check out, paying for my groceries using change and bills, this women at the next checkout starts giving me a hard time, refuses to properly identify herself becomes louder and starts to berate me in front of other customers, yells at me for the way I'm paying. I asked her for her name and a business card, yells at me again and tells me that she's not giving me any thing, only after assistance from other staff do I learn that she's the store manager. WOW!
Some of us have fallen on hard times in this difficult time. This women requires anger management maybe medication and therapy to help her deal with being that high up on a pedestal. If she treats customers this way I feel sad for her employees. No way for a manager to behave when representing a company regardless of size.
Stay tuned for an update, hopefully I'll get a resolution regarding the poor treatment

Metro is okay in general. It's more expensive than other stores. The staff is very nice, clean location too!

The staff are friendly. There's a pretty good assortment of items there. Kept clean and the prices are fare.

Ordered chicken family special, fries were hard as rock, half a container of gravy, I felt I good ripped off, chicken not hot.how could the employee give this meal to me, no quality control?

Amazing clean place to go for fresh and variety of fruits and vegetables. Great customer service

I visit often before 9 am weekdays, shocked at how much time it takes to cash out 5 or 6 items. Very difficult to get proper or basic service at the front.

Really impressive array of options for the size. Really good price and very clean and organized layout. Flowers options it's impressive, and there's a Starbucks inside.

. Noticed taking extra cleaning precautions today.a fellow wiping down freezers, handles.

I'm giving you three for for your meat department as you had lots of 50% off of meat but you didn't have a lot of what you were having on special in your Flyers on the meat I wish that I can go to the Butcher and ask for a bigger size of meat like a pork loin that you had but we can't do that the ones on the floor was way too small for a family of 10

We buy their chicken and fries every Tuesday, issue is sometimes the chicken is not fully cooked; it happens more than we'd like ; (

Large renovated store. Clean and well designed. Staff are friendly & very helpful.
My go to Metro store!

This newly renovated Metro is a good place to shop for groceries. They almost always have items on sale, and you can sip on a coffee while you shop thanks to their Starbucks on-location.

They have tons of freshly made, ready to go items if you're looking for something to bring home for dinner.

They promotes that they provide “Western union” services however they have been lying and saying the system is down for over a year now!
I called the store to ask why they don’t provide the service as they indicated, the representative was very rude and hanged up!

Very weak and below standard services.

Good selection but some prices too high! For example: yogourts, canned pasta, soups, chili and energy drinks

Cant buy Buckley's after the pharmacy closes, 1 reason I never shop here, its Buckley's, not some next level drug, it should be available like the advil and tylenol

Beautifully laid out & very clean.
I looooove the idea of having sanitizing towelettes at the entrance.
A lot of choice. Lots of product to choose from.
Only downfall is prices. A bit expensive if not on sale.

It's such a beautiful store and offers great appetizing ready to go meals! You can't get lost in the store either because every section is clearly marked and everywhere you look, the displays and aisles are clean and inviting!

A good metro location that is always adequately stocked with basic merchandise, if you shopping for one or two people, or just picking up the basics for dinner on the way home from work its perfect; but its not the place to go if you are a family of 4 or more doing a monthly grocery haul, for that id go to walmart. Now the one thing I will give almost all metros is the meat section, the quality is better and I would buy my meat and produce their any day over walmart. Metro has fresher produce than walmart does usually.

I like this Metro a lot.it's clean well-organized and small enough so that you don't have to walk a mile if you forget something. Staff are friendly and you can usually find most everything that you need.

The auto checkouts dont allow you to buy alcohol without someone tapping there card. The staff are always talking to each other or not around.

They should remove the need for assistance. It is not like they ask for ID like every time I go to LCBO.

Metro is fine, prices average, but no frozen lamb burgers. Staff always friendly and helpful. Bread and bakery is nice. Fish options are good if you dont mind all your fish products coming from China.
