Great meat here, can find smaller portions for a couple or one person. Seafood selection and bakery are excellent as well.

Metro needs to advise their employees no phones on the floor means no ear buds and your talking away on your phone with a friend, RUDE

They always have a wonderful bakery. It was the long weekend so it was nice to be able to purchase some wine and some beer and pizza. I also found some frozen swordfish!

Why are most of the customer service staff so rude? They seem to be put out when you need any help.
It's the 3rd time now. I just asked if I could purchase beer on the self checkout.
Lady was just annoyed and had a rude attitude. I was so nice to her.
No one is happy there

Huge store I only needed a couple things but would definitely go back and check it out if I'm in the area again.

Customer service is a joke. Absolutely rude and why work there if you don't like it. Don't treat people like that.
I wanted to buy a lottery ticket and was treated with such attitude and disrespect.
Metro is not a good place to buy anything!

Metro has good beef deals. Otherwise, it’s pricier than Collingwood Walmart, Food Basics and Giant Tiger. The friendliest person in the store is a mature lady at the deli counter. She was friendly, helpful and personable.

Found it very expensive
Bought items that what I thought was a sale price at 5/1.00. Turns out they were 1.00 each! Not pleased.

Great selection but sale items are out of stock. Went in to buy a few Family size Shreddies the day after the flyer came out. Sold out and went back a couple more times and none. Disappointing.

I have lived in Collingwood for 6 years now & frequent Metro. As beautiful & generally well stocked the store seems to be, I have to say they employ some of the most miserable cashiers I have ever experienced. Not a single smile on any of them anytime I have gone in. Even when I initiate a smile or inquire how they are, there isn’t even a hint of joy. I can only imagine this is a reflection of poor management and must not be an enjoyable place to work. Such a shame & really affects my overall opinion of the store.

On the plus side, I wanted to give Garrett from the butcher department a shout out & thank you for going above & beyond! He was ready to help & and did everything with a smile. Such a wonderful experience that deserves praise!

I want to thank Sean in pharmacy and the young man, pharmacy assistant, for going above and beyond to get my prescription to me today. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your caring.

Nice place, but apparantly everything is on sale tomorrow. No luck going shopping on a Wednesday.

Really nice store. The presentation and stock was impressive. I went in for T-bone steaks because I was told there was a good sale. I couldn't believe the price. I ended up buying 4 steaks, freezing three, and feeding 3 of us on the 4th. I paid $15.74 for the attached pic of the steak. And it was my most expensive one. The meat was tender and delish. Going back for more. Sale ends Thursday.

Love the selection at the Liberty Village store. Meat, produce and specialty organic items available. Great roast chicken

The produce is so fresh here, the bakery smells as good as it tastes. This is conveniently located next to the Days Inn and it has Starbucks inside, great staff, always friendly and willing to help.

Best selection, very clean, although not always the cheapest, but the nicest place to shop in Collingwood. The take away food availability is great.

I constantly use metro servicers, shopping, western union and sometimes the pharmacy service, I feel happy with the employers attention and friendship. Today I want tell my unconfortable situation with a lady's name is DOROTY, she work in the SERVICE position in Collingwood, always she is very rude and humilanted with me, I can persive she do not like the immigrants, maybe she can stay in a different possition under of the store, far of people.
I was waiting around 15 minutes for western union service, I was the first person in the line and she said, ' She could not help me and said that should wait for someone else'. Doroty, attended five people before that me, and I was first in the line.why? I dont know, but when the line finish and she dont had any more people or maybe other option because nobody come to help me and I was waiting to long time she do not have a different option that attended me. With bad face and bad behovior, humillianting and unpleasant.
In my opinion DOROTY is a racist person.

Nice store with a lot of space and looks great since the Reno. Also love that they have Starbucks and carts to put your coffee cup while you shop. Also love that they carry Montreal Bagels and Premiere Moissan baked goods!

Not very clean. Variety wasn't the best. Cashier was friendly. Nobody else in the store that saw me offered any assistance.

Wonderful "welcoming" one-stop shopping grocery store. This Metro location carries wine, beer, and boasts an on-site Starbucks complete with seating area. Ideal size store which is navigable. Clean, well-stocked, organized with great prices and excellent customer service. The friendliest and most helpful staff were found in all departments! They really know where things are unlike staff at competing stores. The hands-on store manager is friendly and very customer service oriented. I am very impressed by the Plant-based "Make the switch to Plants" section in today's flyer! I have yet to see this section in any major supermarket chain's flyer. Great produce deoartment! This Collingwood location carries vegan brands not available at surrounding competitors. Some can only be found at the neighbourhood health food store. I love the great stock and availability of smaller grocery carts for singles and seniors which make it easy to quickly navigate the store. I'll will definitely be back!
