Metro

I am in this Metro frequently. They have an awesome bakery department! Despite it being a smaller location I never have an issue finding a product. Some of the cashiers are slightly on the rude side and could use an attitude check. The store management is great and friendly, also frequently seen around the store not like most other stores.
FYI Tim Hortons Express on site for drinks and donuts!

Store is clean and well-laid out. Self-checkout staff was a little impatient and no one on the standard checkouts. Less selection than I would liked but a good choice for basic needs.

This used to be my stomping grounds a few years ago. I see they have had a lovely face lift. What a transformation. It's beautiful. Was just stopping in for a few things but will definitely go out of my way to check out the veggies and meat selection. The ready made meals looked amazing and the cakes looked fantastic. Loved that you can see IN the bakery area and watch the gals cake decorating. The fresh bread and croissants we purchased were top notch.

Saw quite a few staff members from when this was my regular grocery store so that tells you something right there! Must be an amazing boss managing this team!

New renos are really nice. I'm personally not a huge fan of self check out but, their new machines are okay.

The new layout really opens it up & makes it feel much more inviting, bright, and clean. But Metro is still priced too high imo. I know the chains have their various "levels" of pricing at their different labeled/branded stores, but still, thats the drop for the star. I'd adjust one more star if I knew for sure if their staff are paid appropriately (remain 4 stars) or not (deduct a star).

Wow what is going on with your produce? Go in today and once again your onions are rotten. Come on guys take pride in what you as we have health laws.

Metro is newly renovated they did a great job it is very nice now and they had great prices on their chicken

Ok but pricey! Undergoing a renovation now.well stocked store.nice veggies and fruit. Still being renovated but getting close. Great prices on coffee. Construction almost complete now (may 1 23) Beautiful renovation.makes this look like a new upscale store!

If your tenting on one of the islands you need to use their wagons to get your stuff to you camp ground

Good service and you will find mostly what you are looking for but expect to pay more than at other stores.

I like the new changes to metro but it's not as nice now that the entrance way has changed so drastically. You used to be able to walk in and out. Now in order to get out you have to walk all the way around the cashiers.

Placed a pick up grocery order yesterday. Customer service inquiring on a product yesterday over the phone to the store AMAZING!
Today, young man named Scott brought out my order. I was a pain and asked for 2 minor modifications and he accommodated no problem.
I would HIGHLY recommend shopping at this store whether in person or using the pickup service. It's free! All product was perfectly picked fresh as could be! A grocer that is happy to serve their customers and proud of their products

Went for groceries. Store looks nice but there is no express checkout so those who prefer to use a a human cashier were lined up several deep. The vast self express checkout was open. However I had several items that had no price. I discovered I have to look up the price on myself. They have even replaced duties of stock person as well as cashier. Loss of jobs. I will not shop at Metro again.

Today is their grand reopening. The store does look nice. No one greeted me or smiled, but there were probably 30+ people in suits. They didn't move when I was trying to get by them or look at products. Just stood in my way, not smiling, as if I didn't exist.
Cashier didn't even say hi. She was rolling her eyes and huffing.
Did not feel like a valued customer. It's 5 min from my house, but I will never go there again. I'd rather go to the cheaper store and be snubbed.

The store looks great now however the fact that I had to use self check out isn't appealing to me, so many check out line with no one working them, stop pushing that on ppl and also had to use debt it's not a digital world yet and many older ppl don't want any of it either.

Newly renovated Metro stores in oshawa. Really nice and affordable for shopping, it has a great customer experience. Come shop with metro oshawa.

Quick visit to the Florist Shop of store. Great selection for short notice. Staff very helpful.

Very expensive for the area it is in but always have sales, and helpful staff. I go here out of convenience. Store recently went through renovations and looks great,

You keep raising the prices on things. $6.50 for a wrap from the deli, thats criminal. Also was a half eaten sandwich left on the shelf. Pretty gross

Metro has awesome cakes and Fresh2Go items. Their trays are well worth it. I only buy my cakes at Metro. The cake is white cake with chantilly filling (yum) whipcream Icing (icing is not to sweet it's perfect). The fruit and cheese tray I had the cream cheese dip (OMG it was to die for)

Little expensive but the have an exellent bakery with wide selection of cakes for all ocassion
