Love that supermarket! Has big selection of groceries items and of quality; amazing fresh bakeries etc! Self checkout service, very efficient and quick!

Well. I can usimually find something good in the meat dept. It's a small store but they seem to have decent promotions

I enjoy going to Metro it close to my work, some of the cashiers has attitude but the other are very nice to deal with. The prices are reasonable for downtown!

Amazing location (within the college street subway, access to the PATH, multiple entrances to the building)
The space is limited considering it’s not a standalone Metro but the management has done a great job managing it.
Easy in, Easy out, multiple cashiers, self service machines, most of the products are stocked up.
This is my Go-To store.

The worst service ever. During the self checkout, the person who stands there hovered over and checked things for several times. She keeps touching my screen even when I didn’t ask for any help and messing around with my stuff. If I weren’t in a rush I would had asked to speak with the store manager. The door will alarm if anything not properly checked out, why acting like customers are trying to steal stuff? !

I go to this metro quite often. The staff are usually nice however the Asian lady at the cashier is a little rude. When I tried to talk to her I had to repeat myself 3 times before she finally gave me a response. Meh.

This is a great place to shop. However, the staff need to be more on the alert for customers seeking assistance.

Security at this metro is really overbearing, they keep following regular people to see if they are stealing. It's kind of uncomfortable.

Kind of a meh location overall. The "fresh" produce is all fairly questionable. I purchased grapes which were located next to the fish section and I kid you not, even after washing them they reeked of fish. Had to throw them all out.

Mini Metro compared to the other suburban locals in North York Yonge/imperial Princess St. & Westend & Scarborough locals. Sometimes homeless people harrassments at the main flr. Main roads Corner.

This Metro is located in the heart of the college area, UofT and Ryerson area and the biggest perk for students is that they have student discount Tuesday through Thursday of about 10%. Show your student pass and you'll get it at check out.

They sell almost everything you need to sustain life, raw ingredients, dried goods, tidbits, meats, vegetables, cooked food, household items etc. They tend to have really good offers for charcuterie items like salumi or parmegiano reggiano at really good prices so do look out for their flyer items.

Prices for regular items are a little higher than other supermarket chains but they are consistently fresh and nice. The staff service is sub par, I recalled once when I went to buy their rainbow trout which was on offer and asked the staff how to get it at the price on the flyer, but the staff kind of brushed me aside and stated that it needs to be bought in larger quantities of 1kg or more. I already had the intention of buying quite a lot 2kg +-, but that attitude was kind of unnecessary. When I revealed that I was buying larger quantity, the attitude changed and service improved.

Cashiers are largely not friendly as I reckon they have to help serve a large number of customers each day. Again I'm happy not to pay more for better service as long as I get good products at good prices.

Great place for students to pick up better items at discounted prices after showing the student pass.

The worst place I have ever visited. The rudest and racist cashiers. I should have called the police. Avoid this store for your own safety.

Food was amazing there. Better than most restaurants i ordered from on Uber or skip! Hands down. Thanks for saving the day sometimes

Line up to enter store. Masks required to enter store. Security guards monitoring mall. Food court and convenience store open. Starbucks and Tim Hortons open for in store purchase. Lots of people out. Stay safe and social distance.

The cleanliness and safety protocols at this location are great! The quality and variety is superb. One of my favorite Metro to go to.

Vegetable and fruit always goes bad. They sell wrong price products and expired items. I have 5 years shopping experience at here. I’m Super disappointed right now. I won’t come back again. I will choose farm boy instead. Also BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. SUPPER BAD!

I used to have a 5-star review for this location. And I waited to adjust the review hoping I had a one-off experience after so many years of going to this location. But unfortunately, I no longer wish to shop at this location anymore. On two separate occasions, I have purchased food products from this specific Metro location, that have been within the tolerance dates for consuming, but the product was expired inside the packaging. The first time, I purchased Turkey Bacon, on sale in early August, with a June 12 expiration date. This most recent occasion was seafood. Thankfully none was eaten, but as this is happening multiple times, after 10 years of frequenting here, I’m feeling as though something has changed at this location. I hope they bounce back in the near future. This is my local grocer, and now I will go out of my way to pick up groceries, that I know will be fresh. Shop here cautiously!

2020.10.08 The metro supermarket is a very convenient location in college park. Always busy but you can find all your basics. The staff are OK but never seen them smiling. People should love what they do otherwise stay home.

Great Metro. It's on the small side, but it still has every department. They no longer have beer though, so that was a bit disappointing.

I visit this store because it is closest to me and I don't have any other options. They have removed the glass shields between the self serve checkouts even though the cases are going up. Why did you install the shields if you wanted to remove them in a couple of months? If you go here expect someone right into your face as you are taking out your stuff from your cart and scanning them.
And one more thing, please ask the people at the food counter to wear gloves and stop touching the food. They used to do that before, now it's just worse. Management has been just functioning very weakly.

Bought a precooked lobster package date today. Had a fishy smell, I steamed it for 8 mins. Still got food poisoning. Not sure how they ensure they are packaging safe to eat food.

They got a lot of products, what I like most is that they always improving themselves. I don't go every day, is far from my home, I go every so often and it's nice seeing that anytime something changed inside and more products are added.
Food wise, they have many different products; pasta, dairy, fish, meats and so on, the prices are reasonable. Can be really busy sometimes, due to the fact that is by college station and it can be also difficult to find someone that helps you.

I mainly go to this store for their fresh bakery, especially my favorite double chocolate chunk cookies which I don't find at other grocery stores nearby.

This location has always had inventory issues. They are always running out of stuff and do not carry all Metro items.

I frequent this place. Good quality produces, etc. They maintain good hygiene during this covid times.

This grocery store is good if you need food fast, but I’m not impressed with the selection. However the wait times are usually not bad!

This Metro is a smaller store but has all the basic things that will would need for groceries. I've never had any issue coming here. They also handled covid pretty quickly. It's a good store for regular priced items, more than Fresh Co but less than Loblaws. If they don't have what you need, you can probably find it at the huge Loblaws down the street (but be aware that it will be more expensive).
