I purchased four fruit baskets for Christmas gifting and they were fabulous! VERY reasonably priced and the staff were so kind - even offering to help me to my car! Merry Christmas!

SO, picked up a six pack of METRO cabbage rolls.
Served up 2 and they were awful!
Cabbage was way under cooked rubbery and VERY THICK not to mention COST and too little fillings. Tried a little extra cook time in tomato juice on low. Did nothing!
Took em back to store for refund. YIIIIIIKES they were good but NOT now

Nice store, convenient for those in the neighborhood. Renovations have brightened the interior. Some aisles have been moved around. Nice new entrance has been added

I counted at least 6 employees within my sight but only ONE checkout open and a huuuge line. Such a management FAILURE

Store is quiet. No help at the fish counter. The meat and chicken does not look fresh. Not a good Metro to shop at

Hello lately I been going to metro stores and I find that they have everything you are looking for the prices are not to high the meat department has great choices od different linds of cut and meals ready to go must check metro stores

I do like metro because the people are very nice, but I'm very disappointed with how the meat department orders the weekly specials. Red grill top sirloin steak VP or roast are on for $4.99 lb or $11.00 kg this week so I went over to grab one or the other for supper tonight. It was Sunday at 9 am when I went over to get it and they are completely out of both. Sunday is probably one of the busiest shopping days of the week and they are out of their FRONT PAGE SPECIAL. This isn't the first time either with the meat dept, if they have hamburg or chicken breast on I don't seem to have a problem getting them. But when they have a special on steak, prime rib, maybe items they dont always carry they run out of their front page special before the weekend is over. They are start to resemble Canadian Tire as long as they have one on the shelf when the specials start.they are good. FYI meat department, if you pull a movement report after the specials is over, that would help you order for the next time that products on special. Low numbers or no movement would suggest you ran out or didn't have any that day, so order more

Large grocery store with a flower section which isn’t in other grocery stores. There are bouquets and potted plants too. Some helium foil balloons to add to a gift. The baked goods are always so yummy. There are a large selection of specialty cakes at the bakery, not just the general slab cakes you see elsewhere. There is a very large fresh produce section. I like the newer self checkouts too. Located at the Elgin centre where you can go and do more shopping or grab dinner in the food court when your done shopping.

It's always nice and clean in there, and they usually have what I go in there for. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Nice option for groceries here in the city, staff were friendly and the location is convenient.

Metro prices are a little high.but the convenience of it is good and the store is clean and staff are good

Super expensive and can't get half of the items I wanted. The only redeeming factor was the flower shop is very good.

Average Metro, always out of advertised product, like they seem to sell it all Wednesday night, none left to honour flyer.

There prices are more. But there bakery is the best. Cakes are delicious. Bread is really good.

You pay these people $15.50 an hour and then when I complain that the hot deli counter AND deli being handled by a single understaffed and overworked teenager, the assistant manager Amanda had the audacity to interrupt me to tell me it’s because “these kids don’t show up for work” instead of realising there’s no incentive to work so hard for so little and taking responsibility for the lack of efficiency in her store. Grocers are posting record profits, food prices are skyrocketing, and wages are stagnant. You’re exploiting them. I’m disgusted with my experience today.

Found the store dingy, poorly lit and under stocked.

Edited 2022: lighting has been greatly improved. Shelves are full with a great variety.

Love this place. Fresh produce, meats, baked goods. Neat clean, pleasant staff, especially in the bakery. Love the new Seafood section. Convenient.

All the people who work at the St Thomas Metro are so darn nice. Last week Metro had Aaa roast beef for $4.99 /lb. The Metro stores in London were sold out. No apologies or rain checks. The St Thomas store offered a rain check. How wonderful. And they honoured the rain check.
I find Metro a bit expensive BUT because of the great customer service I will definitely frequent this store more often.

Chicken and rib deal is perfect for a family meal. Deli staff were very friendly and helpful.

I love metro the employees are so nice, the pizza is unreal and the produce is great. 10/10 always a great experience going in.
