Absolute horrible customer service from an older lady with blue dyed front part of hair. Dont know her name as she wasnt wearing a metro shirt just black sweater no name tag.

Completely rude and disgruntled. Doesnt ask if you need bags, how your paying or anything normal cashiers ask. I say debit and flash my card she just stands there waiting says "you have to tell me what your paying with before it goes through". I replied i stated debit and tried to show you sorry. She goes i didnt hear you, maybe speak up. Then tried tto snatch my card out off my hadn and i asked what she was doing. She says "i wanted to show you how you flashed the card" i was shocked she tried to grab my personal property in such a manner.

Seems like shes miserable and hates her job (probably life) there are tons of grocery stores around such as highland farm and no frills. I will go there as I never have this kind of experience there. Somoen really needs to look into this and get rid of her if shes not happy with what she does

I went there to buy some pet food. During the self checkout there is a lady who is supposed to assist everyone. Instead she is just standing there being a racist person. Just because I am brown doesnt mean that she gets to treat me this way. Even a single question seemed to make her mad for no reason. If I am being treated this way at a store where I am buying a product I don't think I will ever go back again. That lady really needs to learn some manners and really needs to understand that she can't treat everyone differently. She was being straight up rude.

Needed to return something was told customer service was closed. It was too busy to open it on a Sunday afternoon. There were a couple other people that were waiting. If you're not going to have customer service open on Sunday's there should be posted hours

I shopped here all the time but i stopped coming here because the store manager is not a nice guy he was yelling at his employees on the floor and he is always outside smoking not a good example to his works

I've been in Canada for 6 years from Oz and this happens to be one of my favourite Metro stores. Full of colour vibrancy and great vibe and selection

I have been a customer at this location for many years and everyone is very helpful. Joshua, is one of those employees that goes above and beyond to help you out and he never makes you feel rushed. He is was very informative in explaining the details of many of the products. Thanks Joshua!

Maybe instead of saying certain days "might affect these hours" just take the 2 minutes the let us know what they are so I don't go there for no reason.

Ended up here while looking for the red velvet cake & carrot cake.we took the slices & really liked it. Only Metro I have seen in Scarborough that makes Artisan style pizza's.

Went to make a volume purchase of a regular priced item (not on sale with store limits) and took my request to the customer service department who directed me to the floor manager.

I asked for the quantity I wanted and although they had hundreds of the item in the store the manager refused to sell me what I asked for saying he needed to leave some for other customers.

Being a seasonal item that may or may not sell out I felt it very out of character for a department store to refuse to sell an item to someone regardless of quantity knowing that they would still be left with a substantial amount of the inventory for others. The floor manager even had the nerve to tell me I was greedy and I had no business asking for the quantity I asked for.

Yes! I could have pre-ordered what I wanted but this was a last minute purchase and my timing was late for me to order this item in advance.

My frustration and dislike of how the manager treated me and insulted will assure I will never purchase from this Metro location in the future.

Metro is always well organized they always have a lot of groceries in stock. Prices are a little higher than most places

This is my favorite store for high quality fresh food with pleasant display of produce and best colors of flowers and variety.

Belt cleaned with disinfectant after each customer. Helpful and courteous staff, great management team. A safe place for grocery shopping.

Went to buy a specific item that was on sale. Only 2 flavours were there and was told that the rest of the product would be in the next day. Was disappointed as i now have to go back again. They new there was a sale on and should have had the product in store.

So the grocery is phenomenal! The check out ladies are professional polite and welcoming. However one staff member (Melissa, I believe) in the bakery department constantly ignores customers. You can be waiting up to 15 minutes before she acknowledges you. This happens every time we come! The only reason she served us today was because her manager was on duty and asked her to help us out. I wonder why people take customer service positions and hate dealing with customers

While doing my groceries, i accidentally misplaced my stoller grocery bag that had something very expensive inside. As i was doing the checkout, i realized that my bag was gone. I went through the whole store and was anot able to find my bag. Some staff assisted me in searching my bag and had no luck in finding it. After trying many times, Connie approached me and said if i needed any help. I said yes and she went around asking her coworkers and surprisingly one of the staff named Troy found my bag and saw that there was something valuable in it. He put it somewhere safe. I am glad that i found my bag and to all the people who have assisted me and tried their best to do so.

I ordered the unicorn cake at the bakery, they used 2 inch thick icing on outside and inside of cake, more icing than the cake and the cake itself was hard. Very unsatisfied, no one could eat the cake, I got a full refund after Kolbar the manager made me bring back the leftover 1/4 slab cake back to the store and he had the audacity to ask me where the toy topper was. He was very rude about it and did not even apologize for the inconvenience and walked away. Never going back to this bakery.

I got a beef burrito with rice and when I brought it home it was stale the rice was hard like rock and the burrito was extremely hard on the bottom and soggy all around who ever is putting these out should open there eyes more have receipt and pictures so if i get sick i know where to go

This location has everything you want. Clean and spacious.easy to find things. Little wait times at the cash registers.

Good service. Clean and organize store. Fruits always fresh. I always buy cake here. They have the best lineup of cake. You could never go wrong.

This is a great metro location. It's always kept clean. Things can be a bit pricy here but the staff at this location is great.

Writing this review because I was particularly happy with how quickly someone answered the phone in meat department and accurately checked stock for me! Otherwise, and awesome 'fresh' store!

So clean and organized! The workers were so friendly and helpful, they deserve a raise. Jeremy did a great job of helping me find my Kozy shack rice pudding and the meat department was the best I've ever seen. I will be coming to metro more often. Love this place! When I come to a place like metro it's not all about the food but the fabulous service! Thank you

Never enough checkouts open and none open before 10am, which is rediculous. Self serve is NOT an option. Always an issue, and just not a fun way to start your day.
I go to Superstore every morning for this reason.

Went to get Father's Day steaks this morning and met the most pleasant butcher who wished us a Happy Father's Day. Knew his meat too.great customer service. Thanks guy. Happy Father's Day.

I mean it's a 24 hour supermarket. Not always cleaned and stocked, but i can buy shredded cheese at 3 am so i'm happy.

Modern, clean and well organized. Shelves are well stocked. Checkouts are very efficient. Staffs are friendly. Sure, their prices are a bit higher than no frills and Wal-Mart which are in the same area, but they do have good sale promotions pretty often.especially GREAT during the airmiles bonus redemption weekend,

Paid over 50 dollars for 3 combination of flowers in hopes that I would have them combined and wrapped together as done in the past with other metros. Came home to surprise my mom for mother’s day to find the flowers in their separate clear wrappings with prices hidden with the parchment wrapping paper. Not happy with this at all. Ruined my mother’s day surprise. Wish the associate gave me a heads up so I wouldn’t have spent over 50 dollars on flowers. Don’t shop here for flowers

Insulting! Was using the self check out and did not want to drop the flyer on the floor so put it in my shopping bag. An attendant came over to see if I was stealing. Took the flyer out of the bag until I paid then placed it back in the bag while watching me hard. What is wrong with your employees? I will never come back to this metro again and this kind of behaviour is in acceptable. She was on her phone texting too.

Metro is a pretty decent place to shop for groceries. A little more pricey at times than the competition, as a consumer you really need to know your prices, and shop appropriately, but this is a good store and they have a good variety and selection I've pretty much everything that you need. When I shop, I tend to go to the stores that I know carry the goods that I'm looking for. When it comes to groceries I'm not dedicated to any one store, I tend to go to the stores that I know that carry what I'm looking for. But like I said as long as you know your pricing oh, you're good to go

Great weekly meal deals-this week pepperoni pizza and wings, which tasted really good. Place is always clean and organized.

Probably one of the best Metro's around. Large with fairly good selection for a Metro (which is normally poor). Prices are subject to Metro's premium though I'm not sure for what.they are often more expensive but without quality.

24 hour Grocery Store, can't go wrong with that. Clean, reasonable prices, ready-made foods, bakery and a pharmacy. If you go late night only the self check out is available and certain products are closed off like energy drinks, certain pharmacy items, ready-made foods, specialty cakes, to name a few.

I dont care about the employees but i like the bakery here its a nice variety if ur feelin a sweet tooth.they have my cheesecake so its a yes from me

Large Metro, open 24 hrs which is really useful. Conveniently located right off 401 and Kennedy. Located in a retail lot that's shared with a huge selection of other stores. Ample parking. Overall the experience was good, they have everything advertised in stock and rarely are there any shelves or items out of stock.

Funny review of Metro but I really want to give 5 star. The staff and food quality and display and all great! Fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh bread with friendly staff in the morning is best!

I like buying meat here and other stuff you can't find in other store. We have different things or stuff we are looking for, for me I can find things here that you can find in No Frills or smaller grocery store.
