Talking around and doesn't do their job. Betveen brakes they unloaded ONLY ONE truck Stargate Logistics and left him empty and went to the brake without giving him signed BOL. One said said to me "I don't care". Delivery straight from USA, LTL -10 skids waiting already 2.5 hrs

The main problem is that people get paid hourly and the manager does not worry about what is happening on the site

Result: did not have time to finish all deliveries, other companies will not receive their loads today, only after long weekend

Garbage place, appointment time 3pm gave dock at 6pm. After unloading receiver didn’t sign paperwork or release dock and instead went on break for an hour
8 hours to unload a trailer…

Have 12 electric chargers and open none to public. Most of them are ICEd by gas cars. Employees totally rude and one spitted at me and said he would tow my vehicle if i used the chargers again. Most unreasonable person ive ever met.

I came here for delivered only 7 Skids. After getting a door number they guys take more than 3 hours to unload the 7 Skids. Very bad experience

Worst place for delivery, looks like tortoise working there not human biengs. 7-8 hours even on appointment time.

So, if you come to grocery side. Doors 5 through to 9 is where you wanna be. Those other doors I really can't comment to as im always stick 5to9 door. That slick dude 5-9. He'll get you out. Most of these comments are for vickers rd, those strokers will take forever. Grocery in this facility. Remember. 5 to 9 doors

If you wanna be a slave you can work there. Otherwise if you are young and know English language you can find way better jobs out there.

Load bar thieves. Never finishes the job in 2 hours (why they keeping appointments). No respect for drivers time.

Take forever to get offloaded. Grumpy angry workers. You park inside in your truck and it is 100 degrees and you can't run your truck for ac. This place should be illegal, it's inhumane to make truckers sit inside that heat.

Very slow to unload freight they seem to not care of wasted time for the truckers here for a 1/4 of a trl and still waiting in 35c heat after 4hrs

Do not apply to work here.you will be told to act like you are "retarted" so you are not expected to do so much work I mean this place is good if your a slacker very good pay terrible employees no care for your safety. I wouldn't even give one star.

Don't work here. There are better jobs out there. Management are rude, most coworkers look out for themselves and the pay you may does not equal the work you do. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

As a driver I absolutely hate coming to this place. First off they never off load you within a reasonable time. The minimum time I have ever waited was 3hrs up to a maximum time of 12 hrs. I can load my truck in 15 min with a manual pumptruck, fully loaded with 16 skids yet this place takes hrs just to do the same with a rideable electric pumptruck. What a shame on behalf of Metro regarding their receiving process.

Inside tight quarters not designed for today's larger rigs but the service and covid precautions are well thought out and enforced

Management is too rude. Specially security guard has No manners, no sense and NO RESPECT FOR Truck DRIVERS.

Metro grocery warehouse.busy place. Always hiring for order picker positions. Work is very physically demanding but pay is more when compared other minimum wage job. It's a busy as hell.

Overall terrible working conditions for Selectors. 0 freewill, slave to the system. Ridiculous expectations. Non stop physically demanding work with little to no lee way for breaks. Straining bent over positions constantly. Either use all your energy to not hurt yourself and pass out when you get home or try to waste away the day. Terrible, days felt long and aggravating

It is very difficult to get in touch with the HR or office admin to get info. Can someone provide with the exact number to get in touch with HR because the number on the website is wrong

Bs place for a trucker to come. Wait times are to long and no place to buy any snacks. The security guy is a joke and Wilson company drivers cant drive in metro yard. The workers give attitude to driver as well

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are generally happy and helpful. For a big DC it's one of the better ones I've ever delivered to.

Not a great place to deliver, but to be fair, I've seen worse at bigger name distribution centers, for example Lowblows, formerly National Gross'ers.

Very bad management
There employees are on strike and bothering other drivers
They are not letting inside people to go out
Blocking them for 7-8 hrs
& metro management doing nothing
Not even bothering to listen their problems

They Are worse They just Use employees for 2 months then fire just beacause they dont wanna gove benefits

Strike at exit gate. Spend over 3hrs waiting in line just to exit from Metro. Did not observe any mediation from Metro to sort out the situation. Hence outside carriers suffered & paid for Metro's shortcoming

Nice place to earn money. Work is tough as an order picker but everything else is very systematic and in order. You won't have single complain with supervisors and fellow workers. Salary is paid on time direclty to your bank account. 3 stars for the tough job. If you are physically active. Give it a shot!

Ops Manager is a dick, they over work you. Safety is trying their best to keep the place safe, and still there are accidents. Here's an example, when the new operation manager took over in the new year, nearly 200 people quit (part time). Due to schedule change without workers knowledge (on the days off that we need off they put us on, even if we have school or another job). Pay is good but you can do way better than this place. Find another job that does not make your life feel meaningless, and mind numbing.
