First time in that Metro location and very impressed. Store is very clean and well organized. Great deals and very friendly staff

I bought 3 packs of fish and 2 packs of lamb meat when I returned back home and opened it’s extremely smelly bad expired I run to the closest Metro on March road they refused to return it or exchange it or even give stores credit they said every Metro independent

Prices are fairly decent gor a metro compared other ones. Fruits, veggies and meat are usually fresh, and one of few places I will buy my meat from. Some staff are just amazing but sadly have a few who are just ignorant and dont offer help when needed.
There always seems to be an issue with sale items, never enough stock so never can pick up items in sale.
Store though is one of the most clean, organized grocery stores.
Pretty quick check out isles and self-checkout as well.

Metro remains a little expensive, but it was clean. Some sale items out of stock… was OK. Not my first choice grocery store but saved us as it’s one of the only open stores after the big storm

Groceries are fresh and the cost is above Walmart for some and below for some others.

The quality of the products is definitely better than Walmart and it makes sense to pay a little higher for some items!

The staff were very polite and the store is neat and clean. Disappointed by strike action of their suppliers. It left me scrambling to find an alternate caterer.

Great sales every week, competitively priced items. They have a good selection of ready to go meals and you can earn airmiles.

Love the fresh meat and fish/seafood that is available here. Weekly specials make it easier to get good cuts for affordable prices.

It's a little small but has good produce to choose from and it always clean and well taken care of

I usually only drop in to pick up a few things. But I've found they have a great selection. The produce and bake goods were very fresh. The store is well laid out and clean.

Good store been going here for over a year, would like to see there prices be a little more competitive but I am unsure if that is the store or the chains issue.

Was there about 3 pm. Not busy so easy for social distance & no line up to go through the cash. Very pleasant cashier & disinfected the area when she finished with my order

I usually look down upon metros, but this is definitely a top 2 metro in Ottawa. I'll definitely be going back. Aisles are pretty narrow in a pandemic, but I've seen worse set ups.

Love this Metro! Meat and produce are always fresh and they have the best selection of gluten free products than most grocery stores!

Very good experience during the pandemic. Separate in and out. Clear markings on the floor of where to stand when in line. One major line then the cashier calls you to move forward.

Staff chatting together which unintentionally blocked the exit briefly making it difficult to navigate safely. Otherwise a good experience.

Store recently renovated. Went to get few things and was disgusted. I always go through reduced to clear baked goods and found two bite brownies. Dated January 26th. Looking closer I come to see the best before date has one under it dated January 16th. Ok.so I pull the rest of rack.there is 3 more with same double dates. So there over 3 weeks old and reduced 30% for quick sale! Great deal eh

Great location, friendly staff and Uber fresh meats and great quality produce. More expensive than food basics, no frills but in this case you pay for what you get.

I like metro. I find Its somewhere in between loblaws and food basics in regards to quality and price.

This location often has a big selection of products that are on sale unlike other locations that have little to none on day 1 of the sale

Awesome supply of gluten free, and lactose free products. Management employs local students and staff. Love this neighbourhood store.

This my go to Metro. They have several vegan items that I know I can always get there. The vegetables and fruit are fresh and nicely laid out.

I cant say much about the entire store. This review is for the Bakery specifically. I called last week to order a cake, and the man told me they have pictured in a book that I can chose from (I live out of town and needed to pick up and a later date.). Only for him to tell me that he didnt have time to take my order because he was trying to hurry up and go home.

I called a few days later, hoping to speak with someone else and the person told me that they dont have a book with pictures, and I need to go in person to order my cake.

Sale lost.

They often have good specials on fruits and vegetables and also have GLUTEN-FREE breads that are descent tasting and of good texture. Their soft corn wraps are delicious, fresh, and really soft just like regular flower wraps. Their roasted chickens taste great and they always have some available, unlike Loblaws down the road. I stopped going there because of that actually. It is nice to be able to pick-up a cooked chicken and salad at the end of long day for dinner, especially when you finish late. You can count on Metro!

I have to say this grocery store runs a tight ship! One of the most clean, organized and aesthetically pleasing grocery stores I've been to. The staff are really pleasant and they provide extra services like custom picture cakes. I'm really impressed and will be coming back!

It is a delightful inviting space, with many pleasant staff members. The variety of goods offered is plentiful but I do find it a little more pricey than other grocers like No Frills, Independent or Food Basics. Quality. Excellent. Quantity. Excellent. Prices. Significantly higher but atmosphere and environment much tidier visually and cleaner smelling.

Terrible! In Montreal the Metro stations are well marked and there's a map of the entire transit system. I couldn't even find the escalators in this one. I asked a couple of employees but got only blank stares. Well doggone it, Im sticking to the bus in this town!

It's fine in a pinch. But generally all prices are higher than other grocery stores. Ie: regular price on a 12pack of diet Dr pepper is $7+ which is insane when it's $3.99—4.49 anywhere else. Similar with tassimo pods.
