Fresh food great staff. Always have the different choices. It's a great place to go when you're stuck for ideas.

Very nice store. Always clean and organized. The prices are sometimes higher than others. Just know your pricing when you shop.

Metro has such a good bakery and so much variety. Deli staff always slices and packages meat to perfection.

Nice clean and well stocked store. Good place to collect airmiles. Lots of parking and several stations for those with electric cars. UPDATE: Since my initial review Winona Crossing has expanded considerably.mostly restaurants and fast food joints.

Woman at the hot foods counter provided great customer service. Although I did not receive any traning as a cashier, I did ok checking out.

Edit: June 25 2022. Another great experience at the hot foods counter. I don't know where you find these people, but F they amazing. Last few visits have been amazing. Bumped you up to 5 stars. Great job.

Great selection of specialty items, non dairy and gluten free in particular. Also carry lots of sizes of items so I can buy certain items less in a larger size. (Instant coffee) was ecstatic. Very friendly helpful cashiers.

More care needs to be given to the labelling of some fish products related to the price and the weight to ensure they meet the requirements of the said items being advertised in the weekly flyers.

The butcher in this store is so rude, he cuts the the lamb leg in bad manners and without asking me how I would like, and he charged me an extra one dollar per kilogram, and zero customer service, he talked to me from faraway and with mask that I can't understand what he said

I really enjoy shopping at this Metro the staff are extremely helpful and friendly but I did notice today there were two people in the store with no masks on and I was more surprised that an employee not sure if he was a manager but he did have a Metro name tag on and I was surprised he just looked at them as he walked by. He should have said something to them about no mask.
Just thought the store manager should be aware of this.

Easy access no lineup and they have self check out and other cash register are available with enough help

This Metro is extremely well run. Clean and organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is great.

Good selection of products and their store-prepared salads are really good but everything is quite pricey

We go here every week. They have all the items we need and it's not that busy. If we do need to find something, the clerks are always helpful to show us where it is.

Always impressed by the store. Great selection of fresh bread as well as prepared meals. Store is very clean.

I hade a great experience at this metro location. There is a employee named Santino that was very helpful on helping choose what to get for dinner. He went out of his way to take the time to help me buy good food that he recommended. I would highly recommend going to see Santino for help and recommendations for food and what products to buy. Very impressed with the staff.

Gorgeous Metro, very good layout and flow to the store. I love how open and bright it is. Aisles are big enough for 2 carts to pass easily. Staff are super nice and very helpful.

Great place to shop! The pizza you can order to go or via skip the dishes is of great quality and tastes great!

This is where are pharmacist is Jonas!
He was in Niagara Falls then moved to Metro and we moved with him as he is a amazing Pharmacist!
And we can do are Costco shopping here which is a plus! Also other stores here to do more shopping

Nice store, never busy. Good selection. But, high prices. I compared my shopping list to 2 other stores, Metro was above both stores by approx $12.00 for exact same brand items. So, I give it 3 stars.

Everything you need in one area. Costco, Starbucks, LCBO, Royal Bank, Timmy's, Metro, Sleep Country Canada, chain restaurants, and more. Another plus right off the highway.

AMAZING.fresh produce and lots of variety with better prices compared to other grochery stores in area. Their seafood selection is beyond impressive and tons of selection from butcher. Love the Natural, Organic Plant Based Pharmacy and the individuals who work there are so healpful and kind.

Additionally, i bought a piece of salmon and went home and cooked it and unfortunately it was an off piece. It happens. Anything else ive bought has been great. I spoke with customer service and without hesitation they kindly refunded me.

I usually dont shop at metro as my first choice however this location is now my go to grochery store.

This new Metro is really nice! Great selection and so clean. Check out the fantastic bakery that makes the famous double cheese bread. We happened to meet the Manager, who is very friendly and welcoming.

The cashiers and staff are acceptionally approachable and friendly. I already know one by her first name. Upon exiting, I was wished a good day by a staff member in passing. This is evidence of contentious employees. This will have me returning to this location, let alone the extensive fresh selection available. Welcome to Winona. Welcome to the neighbourhood.

We have been waiting for so long for a new grocery store. Went for the first time today. Beautiful store with fresh produce and well stocked shelves.
Will definitely be shopping here on a regular basis.

Just visited for the 1st time and I'll definately be back. Great selections, awesome produce department, all sorts of ready-made dinners AND JUST a friendly staff.

The shelves are well stocked. The choice of specialty foods e.g.: cheese etc is great. Freshly made soup, pizza and other foods are great for a last minute pick me up lunch or supper.

DISCLOSURE: I don’t work for Metro directly or indirectly. When i walk into this Metro i feel my happy levels go up really high. All around it is the nicest food store I have ever been in (i am in my 40s so i’ve been to a few). Ultra clean and ultra tidy, every single staff member i came across was so nice and keen to help.
I mainly eat fish and vegetables, so fresh is the key word. I haven’t tasted fish this fresh since i lived on the east coast. DELICIOUS! Gorgeous fish counter and vegetable stand. Prices are great, large bottle of top rated extra virgin olive oil (Terra Delyssa) for only $4.99. The biggest selection of the most beautiful cakes i have ever seen. Tried one.soooo good. This is, without a doubt, CAKE CENTRAL for the entire region. Keep up the great work Metro!

My first experience was opening day and naturally it was going to be very busy and eclectic but so so so disappointed that I didn't see what I wanted. I was desperately wanting to see a salad bar like they do at the other stores. My staff and I waited for months for the store to open and so my heart sunk when I realized they didn't have it at this store. Please please please change your mind and build a salad bar! Asking for a lot of friends!

First visit today and this store is amazing! Fresh produce, friendly staff, well organized, tons of selection, and reasonably priced. Safe to say my new go to grocery store

Beautiful new store. Huge deli and bakery section. Standard metro pticing (which is overpriced in my opinion) but their sale items are great deals. Parking lot might be undersized but it might not be as busy after opening week. Really friendly staff.

Visited this location for the first time today and i am beyond impressed!
great selection in FRESH produce, meats, and sea food.everything is nicely stalked and employees were very friendly.the health food and product section is like a mini store alone within the grocery store!
this may be my go to from now on.just be careful in that parking lot!
