Started strong with good bread and olive oil. Decent souvlaki but the rest (rice, potatoes, salad) were very disappointing. Not worth the price.

The quality of food has gone down the hill.we ordered grill calamari dinner. We got 3 finger sizes. What a joke! Not worth 30$

It is the staple to go to for great food on the Danforth, specially now that so many great restaurants failed! It is noisy, very busy, and kind of rushed since they are SO BUSY, the prices have gone up significantly, and that is true for most of the places, all that said THE QUALITY IS GREAT, I would prefer, now that they are in a larger space, that I would NOT be rushed on my meal it is part of the experience I DID not enjoy my last visit on October 27th, 2023 PLEASE NOTE that and I am a customer since this restaurant started ohhh so long ago!

Making us wait 2 hours and 15 minutes (and counting) for a table is crazy. Expecting us to wait that long for a table is even crazier

Restaurant is gorgeous! Always busy, but Sunday early dinner was only a 20 min wait. Servers are super busy so be clear when trying to get their attention or you’ll be waiting a long time. And they won’t give balsamic vinegar or oil automatically so be kind and ask! Attached are pics with reviews and prices

Absolutely amazing restaurant. The food was extremely excellent and I would highly recommend it.

While we have gone there before, this time was a terrible and bizarre experience. They asked to take our name down for a table, saying the wait time was an hour. Our group eventually waits for an hour and a half and decides to grab food elsewhere. HOWEVER, we never get a text back for our table saying it’s ready! I write this more than three hours after I asked for a table. I’m not sure if this is an issue with service or the managing system but it should be resolved immediately.

Love the food and the atmosphere. I don't normally eat lamb but their lambchops are good and didn't taste gamey at all. Would recommend that you go early as there might be a wait time to get seated. Not sure if you can reserve a table but if you can, do that.

Their AAA beef Souvlaki is also very good and Cooked to perfection.

The food here was absolutely amazing! Best calamari any of us had ever had! I’m still thinking about it. Everything that came to our table was hot and delicious.
The atmosphere was so beautiful but the noise level was crazy. It felt like we were all screaming at each other but we could barely hear what the other person was saying!
We had George as our waiter and Mano helping with delivering our food and drinks! They were both so amazing! George was friendly and prompt with taking our orders. Gave us great recommendations! Mano helped answer questions about the dishes for us and cleared and delivered our food in a timely manner! They really saved the day for service!
I gave service only a 3 star because we had issues with the hostess and who I can assume to believe was a manager of some sort. When we arrived it was super busy! They don’t take reservations so we knew there would be some wait. We were told our table would be ready in 35-45 minutes. So we walked about 5 minutes down the street to grab a cocktail while we waited! We arrived and ordered our drinks and got a call that our table was ready! Always amazing when your table is ready early! We tried to explain to them that we couldn’t be there in 10 minutes as we just placed a drink order and they hadn’t arrived - we hadn’t paid - and we had to walk back. We were met with a lot of pushback from someone on the phone (not the hostess). Finally we were given over to a supervisor who told us we could have up to 20minutes (all we were asking for). So we downed our drinks and ran back to the restaurant (about 15 minutes)
We were greeted by the hostess and Drew (who i believe was the manager). Drew was a little abrupt with us. Not overly friendly. The hostess was very nice but asked us to follow her and then walked right into the kitchen… when i asked her where we were suppose to sit she gave me a look and said “i’m just grabbing things to set your table with”…super weird.
Those beginning interactions with this restaurant really put the whole vibe of the evening off. Like i said we were so lucky to have George and Mano (who would get 5stars alone) because they truly brought the vibe and energy back to the night!

Not going to lie definitely on my top 5 list. I am very picky when it comes to Mediterranean food. Or middle Eastern cuisine. My standards are very high. But I will tell you went here twice 9/10 experience everytime. Only thing everytime I went it seemed to rain which sucked.food was good. Apps where amazing, they where so good I filled up on them and didn't even have room for entree. Go for dips and pitta you won't be disappointed.
Update: new location still great food and great service.

Great place for an authentic delicious Greek family style dinner. Be sure to get there early to beat the rush. They do not take reservations. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great service and excellent meal and drinks. Highly recommend! Lamb chops were amazing!

One of my favorite restaurants in Toronto. Excellent food. Service and the new restaurant is beautiful. Close as you get to being in Greece.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful and a nice place to have lunch. We had the Tirokafteri to start and it was excellent; creamy, smoky, yet light. I was happy to see vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. I ordered the Spanikopita because I love Spinach. It was flaky and the spinach had a very aromatic flavor; lemon, herbs, olive oil. My husband ordered the Octapodi Skaras and said it was delicious. The service was impeccable and I finished with a double espresso. The only negative was the 2 lonely, single, older men sitting next to us having a very inappropriate and loud conversation about women and how they "use them for what they want". I was appalled, but didn't say anything because it was my husband's birthday.

This place was wonderful and the staff extremely friendly! Drew, the sommelier, paired a wonderful red with our meal! This guy knows what he’s talking about!

Food was not very good. The pork souvlaki was dry, rice was bland, potatoes were slightly undercooked, and grilled calamari was forgettable. Someone at my table ordered lamb, but no word on that, but their fries were good. There was very little garlic sauce in the tiny dish for us to share. Service was polite, but just okay. They didn’t check if we needed anything after taking our orders and bringing our food except for our bill. Ambience was beautiful, but there were “wasps” inside buzzing above the door to the patio that I was sitting across. There happened to be one wasp hanging around the balcony fence where I was sitting. Later, I discovered a man itchy bite when I got home and I haven’t been hiking or going to parks so you can guess where that came from!
