Magical place. Drove up for New Year eve dinner. Amazing food, great staff. Can't wait to return.

Unbelievable. New Years Eve dinner was excellent. Justin, our server did a great job. Food was over the top.

My wife and I enjoyed an incredible dining experience at Mezzo on Saturday last weekend. The food and service were perfect, special thanks to Justin for making our anniversary dinner even more memorable. We had the short ribs and prime rib, both delicious as well as the arancini appetizer. Lastly I just wanted to mention the atmosphere of Mezzo and Erie St in general. We don't often dine in this area but it's a special part of Windsor, and if we return we would choose Mezzo for the quaint atmosphere and romantic setting.

Lenny was our server she was engaging courteous friendly. Lenny was prompt and her service was over the top

Went there for my wifes birthday. Food was sub par at best and way over priced. We had the arancini balls as an appetizer for 15 dollars we received 2 small balls. I had the rigatoni di Manzo, the beef tenderloin was dry and chewy. The pasta Carbonara had no taste. 2 glasses of wine 1 beer a small appetizer and 2 dinners bill was over $140 without the tip. For that price you would think the person would get at least a small desert for her birthday. Born in Italy i can tell you this is as far away from traditional Italian tasting food as you can get

If you love Italian food, the lasagna is very good, especially the meat sauce on top. The bread was plentiful and so good, another basket was delivered. My other 3 friends also enjoyed their food. I would recommend a reservation ahead.

This is a very nice restaurant, the service was ok at the beginning and after we ordered and got the food it started to be very busy and we are very not impressed by being rushed to finish.we are still enjoying the dinner and the are asking if we want to go boxes. Not impressed at all.

Great dining experience tonight. I had lobster penne and my husband had grilled salmon; dessert was a brownie. Everything was hot, fresh, and timely. Would definitely come again!

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and the food came out decently timed even for a larger party of people. I would go back as the dishes were well flavoured. I’m usually hesitant on portion sizes when it comes to pasta, but this place was well portioned. I appreciated the wine selection as well, it paired well with what was available!

I have now both eating in and ordered take out from this restaurant. Both were very positive experiences!
Dining in had a great atmosphere, attentive staff and the food was fresh and flavourful.
For takeout the meals held up very well and maintained a fresh taste.
I would definitely recommend the seafood pasta and the carbonara for takeout!

Surprised my girlfriend to dinner for her birthday and the food was amazing! We came all the way from Waterford, Michigan and we will do it again. I ordered the lasagna, and it was the best one I’ve ever had! She ordered the lobster penne and was not disappointed at all! The food and service was well worth the hour drive.

Went to lunch with a group of friends. Everyone loved their meal. I had the Ravioli and would definitely order again. The service was impeccable. Can't wait to go again.

We hosted a small, intimate wedding there and it was an amazing experience! The customer service was excellent, the food was out of this world delicious (especially the ravioli and the rack of lamb). Super accommodating staff and very well organized. Helped make our special day even better! Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a nice night out for dinner and drinks!

My boyfriend and I went to Mezzos for dinner and it was incredible. Justin was our waiter and he was great! Very friendly, and was very attentive. It was a wonderful atmosphere and very relaxing.

The food was amazing, and drinks were great as well. I am happy to suggest it to anyone and am happily leaving 5 stars. We got the Beef Tenderloin and Spaghetti Mezzo, as well as some cocktails. By far a 10/10 all around.

Jeff went out of his way to book my party a table even though, they were full. Exceptional customer service!

Not one complaint on a busy Friday night. All three entrees and apps were delicious! Bread and herbed butter is included with your meal. The best gnocchi in the city! Tuna perfectly seared and short ribs were unbelievable! To top our evening, our waiter was awesome and attentive, funny and pleasant! Thanks Justin for a great evening!

Amazing food as always. Osso bucco cheese tortellini to die for. Great service. Superb homemade chocolate peanut butter cheesecake dessert. A little loud due to several office Xmas dinners, but nothing too crazy. Our #1 guaranteed fine dining location in Windsor.

We had the opportunity to order take out New Years it was the absolute best and well
portioned We had the Antipasto Box delicious and the calamari were an added bonus and a must try was the Pollo Galliano chicken with mushrooms

Food was great, friendly service - although they will do some of their dishes vegan and are very accommodating, in 2022 (and soon to be 2023) at least ONE vegan entree dish is needed on the menu.

First time going here for dinner and the Manager went above and beyond to provide us with a lovely evening. Dinner was delicious and authentic.

Great food and even better service came for my birthday with a few friends. Our Waitress Sandra was very outgoing and wonderful to deal with. She had very great recommendations when asked as well. Overall 10/10 experience!

Service and the food is generally quite good; however, the inside atmosphere could use some updating. Also, it's difficult to have a good time when the staff are cleaning up the restaurant for the next day while you're still eating. They may want to rethink that. Despite this, I would still go back to Mezzo without hesitation.

I planned an event for 15 people at Mezzo. The room they set aside for us at the back was perfectly private. The staff was kind, attentive and accommodating. Everyone raved about their food. We were able to really enjoy ourselves as everything ran very smoothly. Emails beforehand were answered quickly and a follow-up email was sent the day after asking if we were pleased! I highly recommend Mezzo Ristorante for their excellent service and the attention they imparted to us on this special occasion.

We have had the opportunity to visit Mezzo Ristorante & Lounge for dinner a couple of times during this COVID-19 pandemic. The food, staff and service was outstanding. We felt safe at all times and all COVID-19 safety practices were being implemented. Erie street (Little Italy) once again had an old time feel to it and had some positive vibes. The white table cloth outdoor dining experience reminded me of Italy and Old Montreal at times. We will be back! Keep up the great work!

The people there are friendly, and also were very happy answering any questions about the menu. My husband has celiac, the waiter was very helpful. The food was fantastic best itallian food I have had in a restaurant. We will most certainly visit there next time we go city. Thank You for very nice evening.

Thank you so much to all the Mezzo staff for making my daughters Baptism such a special and memorable day. Since COVID-19 this was our first time going out and we were a bit nervous, especially dining inside. Prior to and upon our arrival our nerves were set aside as Mezzo did an amazing job with updating there dining room and providing a safe, clean and beautiful environment. The food and service was exceptional, as always. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Mezzo for all dining occasions.

First time in Windsor, and Mezzo was a fantastic first taste of the city!

We rate our customer service experience for 3 stars only since we didnt expected that we will be sitting outside near at the garbage bin and knowing that we booked for our date a couple of days before weve went there. Our waiter is so nice and well assisted us. We just didnt like the atmosphere we were sitting because of the smell near us and the bugs that keep bothering us while were eating. My husband got a nice meal that he really loves it but the lobster pasta that Ive got is really fish which I feel I really disappointed. But overall we will come back again. Hopefully it will be more better experience!:)

My experience at Mezzo tonight was absolutely fantastic. From the service, to the cleanliness and COVID-19 safety protocols, and of course the amazing food and drinks, Mezzo definitely shines as an amazing restaurant on Erie St. Huge shout out to our amazing waiter, Mario, for providing excellent suggestions and great conversation all night long. We will definitely be back!

I recently dined at Mezzo's on the patio and was greeted with hospitality and was seated immediately. The server was quick and got us our drinks right away. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I have to applaud Mezzo's for the social distancing precautions they have set up in dealing with COVID, we were able to enjoy our dinner and safety!   I had the fettuccini and you can taste the quality of the ingredients used and the flavours work perfect together. There is quality in everything Mezzo's serves and portion sizes are amazing. One of the best restaurants that Windsor-Essex has to offer!

While much raved about, the quality seems to have gone downhill since opening. Pollo funghi was dry, mushrooms were over cooked and the bread was very bad. The spaghetti was also very bland, sorry to say. Portions are huge but what good is that when you don't want to eat it? Best part of my meal was the mashed potatoes and the espresso was out of this world. Didn't stick around for dessert. Probably wouldn't go back again.

Even with social distancing, masks and all the extra safe measures taken during this pandemic, Mezzo still managed to create a super fun vibe with its DJ and great service! A fun night out and consistently delicious food!

Had a fantastic dinner. Was nice to get out. Social distancing on the Patio and street was great. All staff was great and cleaned every table and chair after the table was cleared.
Oh and the food. Amazing!

Incredible outdoor atmosphere, especially amongst the chaos. The service is always top notch and the food is delicious! Modern, Italian-inspired - one of the best restaurants in Windsor!
