Miami Fades Vaughan Barbershop

Scheduled an appointment 10AM. No one showed up and doors were locked. Will never use again. Please do not give use them as they don’t appreciate the business and are not professional.

We showed up for my husband’s appointment, but they weren’t able to take us. Then, we were sent an email saying that we were charged a no-show fee amounting to $60. It’s ridiculous that we didn’t even receive a service and were charged $60 FOR NOTHING on Father’s Day no less. I would never even pay that much for a haircut at this place.

Not only that, the employee lied and said that he didn’t write that we were no-shows. Now, we have to dispute the charge through American Express. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

EDIT: they responded saying they would refund us via email money transfer, never did… but, we were eventually able to get a “complimentary service”. Honestly, it’s not worth the trouble guys. Stay away.

I get my haircut regularly from Anthony. He is never anything less than 100% professional and works his butt off to make sure you have an amazing experience. I would highly recommend him.

For a $50 haircut for a man, your fades and haircut better look Supreme. Lots of hair cutting places around. Moving on.

At Miami Fades I was pleased with my experience over a year or two. Anthony was very polite while performing various services and we had a good time talking with each other. He knows how to cut hair and do beards very effectively and keeps the conversation going and is someone who is actually listening.

First time coming i came on time they said i was running late but double booked me with someone else and told me to wait a half hour for my cut

Great place to get a hair cut you get what you pay for. I usually book a haircut with Eduard and he always does a great job.

Paul was a pleasure to get a haircut from! He did a great job and really kept the conversation flowing. I can't stand awkward, silent, haircuts - and Paul was a great conversationalist and an even better barber!

I had a very professional and welcoming experience at this location. Eduard did an amazing job, he gave a clean fade and also gave his own creative input for the style that made it turn out better than ever. So thank you Eduard for the great professional fade.

Booked appointment online for a regular haircut plus shape. They are quite prepared with the hygiene level in this COVID era. My appointment was with Nikko and this guy knows his job quite well I must say.
Overall, from booking appointment till payment everything was done through online. Really liked their service. Would definitely visit them again.

Returned to the location after several months and was happy with my hair cut and experience. Andrew, my barber, provided me with good consultation on what looks good for my hairline. Took his time and ensured the cut was up to my liking. Very happy with my cut from Andrew.

Tbh the cut was nice but the barbers weren’t.i went in to get a undercut done and they were whispering to each other.also the guy didn’t even properly but my hair up in a bun he got the end then clipped it to the front then when he was done with my cut he didn’t take it down or anything he left it w a clip in.

I had my fade done today by Mikey and my overall experience was so great! I entered the store and was welcome by the barbers who are all professional and friendly. The cut itself was very precise to what I requested and I have no complaints with the overall service. I also really like the tap system for debit/credit transactions.

Cleanliness and adherence to covid safety guidelines was beyond expectations. Friendly staff & great atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone in Toronto looking to get a haircut before lockdown lifts!

Got a cut from Andrew. 10/10, heavily recommend him. He put in max effort to give me a clean cut and a mean bald fade.

Frustrated and disappointed I am with the haircut. It was my first time getting a haircut from Miami Fades and frankly speaking, last time as well. I had originally booked my appointment with Rohan Thompson. He is the one who I came in for, of course, after hearing good reviews and what not. When I showed up, Dave put me on the chair. I was confused because I knew that kid wasn't Rohan. But he didnt say a word about it. Upon confronting him, that's when he said oh yeah I am covering for him. First disappointment because of unprofessionalism.

This kid gave me the WORST possible haricut I had ever received. I kid you not. I told him specifically what I wanted and He did quite the opppsite. Asked him for a mid fade, guy went all the way up, giving me a super high fade. Cut my hair from centre back to a point my hair from centre and front are long and centre back is almost nonexistent, cant even style the hair any way.
Moving on to the beard, once again, telling him exactly what I wanted which was to keep the top line up as high as possible, but the guy picks up his trimmer brings it all the way down and thats when I told him, this is exactly what I didnt want you to do. Overall, starting from Rohan not showing up and him cutting me without telling me that he is not rohan to the worst possible haircut and beard I have ever received. I had specifically told him this is my own marriage haircut and it needs to be proper but in fact, this what I got.

The level of customer service and organization has greatly improved.
Our last 2 appointments at the Vaughan location started on time. BIG improvement and happy they made the changes they did.

They are great and follow covid-19 restrictions and Go for *Andrew*
He cuts it great and offers and experience.
Has excellent eye for detail and actually listens to what you want.

Came here for my first fade after moving to vaughn and it didn’t disappoint. Great customer service and getting cut by the CEO doesn’t hurt for a good first impression.

I have been taking my teenaged son to Miami Fades Vaughan location for over a year and a half now and have always been impressed with the haircuts he receives there. The barbers are always professional and the cuts look great. I would recommend Miami Fades to anyone.

I started coming to this place in 2019 before my trip and have been a customer since. The first fade they gave me had my girl all stressed as I kept getting hit on left and right.
My second time coming, Spence fixed me up with a beautiful close and short fade which allowed my hair to grow nicely and was an amazing look for both my job interview (which I landed) and the summer
My third time, Roy gave me the most beautiful fade. So far I have had nothing but compliments from friends and everyone I meet.
In conclusion, I love coming here for getting my haircuts and I never leave disappointed. 10/10 would recommend

Miami fades Vaughan is my son's go to for haircuts. Today was his first cut with Tommy who was amazing. Tommy is punctual, attentive and professional. Tommy consulted with my son to figure out exactly what he wanted and was great at paying attention to detail. Great experience and great fade!

Mikey is probably the most knowledgeable barber I've ever been too. Give that man a PhD in cutting hair. I appreciate his boomin talents.

Just got my haircut done at Miami Fades and boy was I impressed have not had so much fun cutting my hair since I was a little kid to the barber had such a warm welcoming and built such a connection with me in such a short amount of time it was so professional.
It's like he was reading my mind I didn't have to ask for anything everything was already going to be done without me saying a single word will definitely be back and 100% recommend Miami Fades to anyone looking for a long-term Barber

They had their promotion deals online, only reason why I chose to go there. After my haircut they tell me the owner said they aren’t doing the deals because of the holidays. $29.99 went to $55. Btw, this is illegal. You can’t charge more then the advertised price, I made an appointment for the promotion deal. Terrible, I’ve received better haircuts. They were just chilling with hair all over on the floor.

Have been here a couple of times. Service was average nothing special. We came at 10am promptly today only to be told the barber was running late. Apparently they only have 3 barbers. The guy apparently had no car. I'm like so is he gonna be an hour late, 15 min? We had an app to get to after this and this this was cutting in our drive time. I said can't you call in more staff? He said there are only three barbers. I said I've seen at least six. He said they aren't there anymore. Our guy who we normally saw was moved to Scarborough since "everyone over there quit. " I asked if he could take us first since his guy was a later appointment. He said it wouldn't be fair to his guy. Wow, in the circumstances.he even asked us if this was an urgent app. Like what does that even matter? We will NEVER come back to this, clearly, Mickey mouse establishment. Great customer service, way to lose a client. ***He came a half later.

The owner called me while my son was finally getting his haircut. He wanted to know what had happened. All in all he handled the situation well. Was going to talk w his staff about tardiness, customer service and gave us a free cut.

Best place better than nappys or anywhere I went in awhile ago and forgot to Write a review their is a white dude with earings that is first chair VERY amazing hair cut I was leaving the country for a week took me only 5 minute wait thanks to the appointment system they have I believe this is the best place to get a haircut people say it is expensive I would agree the only thing that they should change is their price just a little bit like maybe 28$ or sum but amazing service

Barber was late for appointment, I got over that. The atmosphere was mediocre at best. The Barber was friendly. Cut was ok. I asked for a low taper. Barber worked for 15 minutes, results average at best. Charged me $35 and change. There's two other awesome shops I go to based on my schedule. Amazing talent, and they charge way less for a quick taper. A full cut is $30.00. Miami Fades is a cash only establishment and for a chain of several locations, that's not only inconvenient to the customer, but unadvertised. I would imagine cash only is a solid way to build business as it's ideal for owners and accountants. I don't mind paying for quality, but to pay for quality and receive mediocre results at best, wouldn't sit well with most customers I assume in any industry. Dear owner, it's a long way to the top, and you've established a franchise model, maintain quality if charging for quality. Cause it's a short fall to the bottom and the pool for customers absorbing this while getting cut by barbers in suit vests and ties, is not bottomless.

Please wash your blades prior to cutting your customers.and try being a little more punctual.
On a positive note, satisfied with the cut and nice access to the pool table.

Went into Miami Fades on Sunday June 23,2019 at aproximity 3 p.m. Listed hours of operation have them closing at 6 p.m. I wanted to get my two boys a quick fade and found Miami Fades online as we were in the area. I walked in and there were what seem to be 3 barbers in the premises. 1 of the 3 was giving a client a haircut while the other 2 were on their phones. I asked if I could get a haircut for my two boys and they replied they only do "appointment only" which I thought was very strange and the way they were corresponding with me it seemed disingenuous. I was very disappointed with my experience I will not be going back there again and will suggest to others that also live in the area and in my community never to use Miami Fades in Vaughan. I did ask for a business card to make my "appointment" as I was exiting the premises and did receive one however, I will not be using their services.

Hands down the only place I trust! Booked an appointment with Michael and Not for a second was I disappointed. Definitely will come back
