Would not recommend Michael Hill. Bought a ring at another location which was scratched and I didn't realize until now.

That said, the manager Pauline I think she said was her name, was very helpful and gave me next steps to take in regards to being sold a faulty product.

3 stars for the company selling mediocre product, but the manager was very helpful.

I Bought earings today from Diana. She was our sales professional in Manitoba so just had to buy from her again when the time came. She has always made us feel incredibly comfortable. Our transaction today was completely successful and very easy. Your very lucky to have her on your sales team. We miss her and wish her all the best.

I bought my wife her wedding ring and band there. Bought the lifetime warranty on both and unlimited Rhodium plating. Since then they have changed their policy. My wife has been back and forth with Sam from customer service and she is not very helpful. Won't ever buy anything from here again. Terrible experience.

Horrible experience won't honor original warranty when my husband purchased my engagement ring and band. He bought the "lifetime warranty " which covered unlimited rhodium plating, now you can only go once a year. Also original warranty said you could trade in your rings and upgrade at any time and get the price you paid for to get an upgraded ring. Not anymore. Horrible do not recommend and will never purchase anything from here ever again.

Terrible Experience!
Took a ring in to be sized and a pearl to be replaced, the ring has been handed down from generation to generation.
Took 3 weeks to get a call it was ready, when i went to pick it up, the ring had not been sized and the original pearl was not given back. Spoke with manager and was told it was a third party who did the work and she would have it corrected. I received a call a week later and went in AGAIN to pick it up. Not sized again, however the pearl was returned. I wanted a discount for the trouble and was told there was nothing she could do, not Michael Hills fault, it was the third party they used. I received a call from Kelly Gordon who the the regional manager and she said the ring was sized the first time and i would be receiving no discount. I asked her to meet me at Michael Hill and we could speak to the staff and confirm the ring had not been sized, she refused. When i asked for the name of who she reports to, she refused and hung up the phone.
The worst customer service i have ever experienced.
If Kelly Gordon is indeed a regional manger, they need to rethink that hire.

Salima was so helpful when it came to picking out our wedding bands! She went out of her way to make sure we were getting what we wanted but didn’t make us feel pressured!

I wouldn't even give this store a star but you have to inorder to say your peace. The manager is very pushy and not at all helpful! I needed to return a necklace because my husband did not like it and the manager kept pushing me to buy something else. I'll be honest this isn't one of their nicest stores, it seems like they send the jewelry that does not sell or is popular to this store because nothing was appealing. The necklace I purchased was in a drawer at the bottom so they don't even display items. After finally getting to the payment part of the return they required my card ending in 4 digits but unfortunately my card was compromised and have to send me another one and they won't do the return! PEOPLE DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE, THE MANAGER IS A WITCH AND COULD CARE LESS TO HELP CUSTOMERS. We will never shop at Michael hill because of this person.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Extremely unprofessional. Firstly, what was said to be a 2 week job has now become a 2 month job. Secondly we left specific instructions with the jeweler that were completely ignored and are now being charged for the jeweler's mistakes. Thirdly, we asked them to save the pieces that were being removed and they somehow have lost them instead, knowing that this was a family heirloom. We are heartbroken and extremely fustrated. We have tried contacting the manager and have been ignored for the past month. Lastly, they forgot to re-size my ring twice in a row on top of everything else. We are appalled at how we have been treated throughout this process. I would avoid coming here at all costs.

The earrings i wasn't allowed to try on in the store.were super heavy when i tried them on at home. Then i find out that all earring sales are final. So i guess i am stuck with them.
