Coming from a different city, this location doesn't have as many selection of products but it was clean and organized

Great place to get all your creative of arts and crafts plus products. They also offer seasonal merchandise and much more.

Great store! Was difficult to find a lot of my items, I felt like I needed to keep asking staff where things were.

Love the selection they have! However I find their prices a bit more expensive then other places.

This store is all about craft and arts, if you are art loving person or wanna do drawings you have plenty of veraity available here. Little expensive.

I was simply floored by the level of customer service at Michaels. A fabulous staff member approached me to see how I was doing, met my questions with enthusiasm, and offered helpful and honest advice. Thank you so much to her and the team.

Shelves looked pretty empty. Not sure if they are changing things over or something. Looked like there was only 2 staff in the whole store. Staff didn't seem very knowledgeable

Not the best Michaels. It’s clean and the staff a friendly enough but I find their knowledge very limited. This is probably no fault of their own but the fault of the company.

Save yourself the trouble and poor customer service. Just order online, it’s probably faster then their service anyways.

Good prices when you use their coupons. And sometimes they have model kits, which you can't really find anywhere else in Guelph.

I come here often. The staff are always very nice and patient! There is always a great selection and I've never had an issue with an item being out of stock. If you know what you're looking for then this is the store for you. However, it's hard to find an employee on the floor when necessary. Though it's not much of an issue for me now as I know my way around, it feels nearly impossible to find someone on the floor when I am unable to locate an item I need. I've even had customers ask ME if I know where to find an item (kind of funny when it happens though, I forget to take off my apron sometimes when I enter the store).

I love seeing what's new! It's very different from what I remember as a kid, but their are still some gems inside. Would love to see newer scrapbooking paper styles though.

There is so much in this store, it can be a bit overwhelming! It's expensive unless you go during a sale, so unless you know what your going for don't just 'window shop" you will end up owing them your first born lol

The staff are friendly and courteous, the order was accurate and quick. I placed my order and within a few hours it was ready for pick up. I would definitely recommend this location!

When I was at the checkout, the Xmas item I wanted didn't come up with a sku. One was given by management. I went back to buy a couple more of the same item and price came up higher. When I questioned them about the first one, they said they couldn't honour the earlier price.

I can always find something good at Michaels and there's always a coupon on the app. They have click and collect for curbside pick up as well and it's pretty fast.

Hit another Michaels location looking for 14x22 Trendsetter poster frames and again, NOTHING! A BIG BOO

Cool place with lots of neat stuff but loses 1 star for not having a decent light somewhere (ie daylight or something other than the harsh retail overhead lights) so that I can see what the actual colour of the thread I was trying to pick.

Staff that was around is kind. Couldn't find anyone to ask questions. Good COVID measures in place. Store was picked over.

Interesting & great variety of craft items but I was only there to get help in mounting photos. The person who helped me was professional & really knew her craft.

Pleasantly surprised at the cheerful customer service. In the past, the associates seemed less than happy to be working at Michael's and not very helpful. Today was quite the opposite. The greeter at the door was very friendly and cheerful as well as informative.

This is better suited as a "crafts" store and not so much a art store. Bored employees, lack of art variety in products and a general confusion in terms of how the store is step up will most likely push away the average customer. But to each ther own I guess.

I have found it easy to source materials for crafts and projects and this location. The size and variety of stock means they house everything from faux flowers, quantities and varieties of papers and card stock, scrapbooking items, frames and framing supplies, wools, yarns, embroidery threads, paints, jewelry making supplies, markers, pens, chalk, wooden craft boxes, an extensive clearance and sale section, books, magazines and other reference materials, plus all the kit for stamping - and so much more!
Though the store is large, it is easily navigable and staff are usually visible, or easy to find, and happy to help. Many of them have crafting experience and can offer helpful advice on the your project.
This location also hosts groups for parties or group efforts and has ample parking as well as being in a mall that is serviced by public transit.
There are usually a lot of great deals on at this location, and as I enjoy crafting, I usually want to spend much longer here, than I do.

Staff helped quickly to find exactly what I needed. I was in and out of the store in less that 5 minutes!

I had a phenomal experience. The cashier enthusiastically and kindly explained a current sale as well as helped me with clarifying some product information.

Love Michael's. Their stock is great, coupons available for sale at all times. I would just add more staff, hard to find help

I always enjoy Michael's as a chain. The coupons they always have on make it easy for me to get quality products for a very affordable price.

I always look out for the sketch book deals. I got two for buy one get one 50% off. They're quality sketch books too!

They also carry a lot of good brand names. Copic and cricket are the two super brands here!

Really a hobby shop, craft store. Does have supplies for those interested in art. However, they seem to have a way of not telling you the price of items either online or in their flier. For instance in their flier they say you can get one sketch pad at half price if you buy one pad at the full price. They do not print what the full price is. At the store you find out it is $25.00. Online they would not give the price of an artist's desk, one has to call the store to find out the cost.

I love the selection and how a visit can be very inspiring but the prices are artificially inflated making it necessary to take advantage of the constant coupons listed on their website. If you have one big purchase then with a coupon you will usually end up with a pretty good deal. However, if you buy a lot of stuff and have a coupon that only applies to one item then you're better off shopping at Walmart or Amazon. It's too bad the business model purposely inflates prices because the selection is great. Visit here but buy elsewhere unless you have a killer coupon.

It's ok if you know what your looking for and ok if you're working on a generic project. If you're looking for specific colors and textures I would recommend a smaller custom shop with custom help

Lori was amazing and super helpful with picking frames for artwork. I was very impressed with her professionalism and talent.

I went in looking for a specific mold for fondant but this is a smaller location. Couldn't find what I needed but was fortunate enough to find a chocolate mold of what I was looking for instant! It was exactly what I needed and great price! I was happy I didn't go by the website & bonus used the 50% off coupon on it! Also sound a set of fondant letter cutters I'd been wanting to find forever on sale 40% off! Small section for baking but still a great selection!
