Very friendly staff! Went in for an emergency last minute gifts, and they were so helpful and friendly and helped me find the coolest things all for under 20 bucks!

Great got the yarn for to finish a blanket couldn't find it and the young lady found it for me very pleased

Manager named Lori at this store is the reason that website transactions/sales will never get rid of brick and mortar. I purchased online during a sale and it was a considerably large purchase. When my online order got cancelled out of the blue, I called customer service from the website and they had no explanation. After calling the store and then meeting Lori in person, she was EXTREMELY helpful and showed top shelf customer service. To any Michaels Execs reading this, use her to train new employees regardless of which store they are starting in. She is a shining star and she redeemed the lack of customer service from the website/phone representatives.

I actually had to tell the busy worker not to show me around but to just tell me how to find what I needed so she didn't need to climb down the ladder. Excellent people and an actual happy demeanor. Very nice atmosphere.

Went to go buy some Cricut vinyl.
Was denied entry by a woman with curly hair and glasses, as the store was “closed. ”
It was 10 minutes before close.
Either fix your hours posted, or operate like every other retail store, and stop denying people entry before the store officially closes.

Good selection of things we were looking for and the cashier was super friendly. We did have to ask someone on the floor where to find something and instead of taking us to the section she sort of pointed. I've worked retail for years and that's a big no-no.chances are the customer will get frustrated and leave without buying anything. Also some aisles were blocked with boxes that no one was working on and that makes it difficult for seniors with walkers to navigate.

Store is very well stocked with various items for every kind of craft you could possibly imagine. Staff is super friendly. Things seem to be organized for really well as well. The only thing I would change, is that there are not prices listed on every item in the store. There were a few things that I picked up that I had to go back and find a price check location to check the price. Other than that, I have no complaints at all about the store. It was a pleasant experience and we will be back again.

The staff at the framing department were so creative and helpful! I wasn’t sure what frames would work with the pictures I brought in but I was so happy with all of their suggestions and they turned out beautiful.

Good selection of crafting materials. Prices are often a little on the high side, compared to online shopping options. Staff are often scarce, but if you can find one they are helpful and polite. There are also usually coupons available on their website, which is nice.

I really liked Michael's until they didn't take ownership for an over $80 difference in price that cashier admitted was their fault due to website work! Poor customer experience and prove its all about money.

Nice supply of crafts but the prices are a little crazy. The coupon codes are nice to have on hand. Glad they're near by to help with my kiddos crafting needs.

Horrible customer service, the bluetooth on my machine Maker 3 didn't work. I couldn't return it to Michaels since they have an arrangement with Cricut that any issues must go through them. I spent over $500 at Michaels and they won't even issue either a refund or exchange the product. This isn't right. I called cricut since, I have an all access account and still no service. One agent hung up on me. Another insured that management would return my call, I'm still waiting. Now i have a $600 that is completely useless and must wait 14 days for a replacement. That isn't great service as well, they tell me to go ahead and keep the previous machine. Oh wow great, what they fail to tell you is that they disabled it and it is rendered useless. Now i have to pay to get rid of the machine.

Michael's is usually very good for service, but I had to ask the cashier to get someone to help me. That's the only reason this is a 4 star review.

Michaels is a toy store for people who love to make crafts. Great place even you can get custom framing.

Why are the line ups so long at the Belleville Winners? I could understand if it was once in a while that we had to wait in a long line up with six customers ahead but every time I go this is the case. It is not a great way to treat customers.

Needed some stuffing to make throw pillows. The staff were very helpful. I got everything I needed.

Excellent location for craft supplies. Watch for sales and offers, they often have great deals, but you have to be fast.

Less people in Michael's due to covid so it was nice to shop, and not have to rush around as usual found more then I went for lol

It would be great if the sale price on the bin was honored at the cash. I'll think twice about coming in next sale

I love Michael's for their variety of artistic media, and within each media. As a novice crocheter I love how their yarn is organized! Everything is easy to find and staff are friendly and helpful. You can find so much in every price range!

Stacey from the Belleville store is the best! She called me right away to address a concern I had and helped me. The management went out of their way to get me my machine!

Very very helpful staff today.however, 1 cashier insists on calling anyone over 50 dear.not up my alley!

I have been holding onto a Visa gift card for 3 years and thought why not make use of it today? So upon requesting that my method of payment be by Visa gift card the cashier seemed unsure but asked me to swipe the card, so I did and it was declined. The cashier, admitting she has never tried to process a Visa gift card before, asked the employee who was sorting items within a meter to my left if she knew how to do it. "Yes. The customer has to know the amount on the card. " I said I do, stated the amount, and said this is the first time I'm offering this card as payment so I'm certain the amount is the same as the amount inscribed on the corner of the card. The cashier then taps a few more buttons, stating "I'm not sure this will work but let's try it" and had me swipe the card again, and again it was declined. Instead of the employee sorting at my side stepping in to assist with a transaction she claimed she knew how to do, or the cashier herself calling for management to demonstrate how it's done, I was asked to pay another way as the cashier stated "I dont know how to do this. " I paid by debit and left unimpressed by the absolute lack of interest on both their parts to take any step toward solving the situation. It would have been a good opportunity for the cashier to learn a new trick as Christmas is just around the corner and I imagine particularly this year with the pandemic impacting incomes for a lot of Canadians, mine will not be the only gift card the cashier will encounter. I was not impatient, would have gladly waited while she called someone more useful than her self proclaimed knowledgable coworker with no interest in sharing said knowledge despite it very clearly being of use in that moment. So sorry to inconvenience you with my preferred method of payment which is among the payment options your store accepts, except not really because I'm not convinced anyone knows what buttons to press to make that possibility a reality.

Michael's is a great place! It always Smells good, and I love Shopping there! Awesome Craft Stuff!

Obviously a go-to for craft supplies, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and there are always some great deals. Only issue is the amount of disorganization, things are not always in the place you would logically look for them.

Staff was helpful but surprised when I got to the till. Prices were not clearly marked for all items.

Great service and an amazing selection. If they dont have it (very rarely happens) they are very fast at getting it.

The employee did not sanitize cash register area down btw customers. There was no greeter, I could not tell which shopping carts we're cleaned.

Hard of hearing / deaf, and the staff was super helpful. One girl even knew how to say thank you! It made my day! Found what I was looking for right away, and didn't get lost thanks to their help!

Great supply of my daughter's paint. Acrylics are hard to find in my local dollar stores. Better quality items here anyway. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Employees are rarely around when you need them, and prices are overpriced because they have coupons to make you feel better about buying things

They aren’t very 100% on what their discounts are, I find but I always find what I need cause they know where everything is.

Michael's almost always has whatever basic to mid level crafting item your heart may desire. I view wandering this store as old-school Pinterest style inspiration. Great deals and ideas, do research any crafting tools reviews as they do have some cheaply made would be my only advice. And if you've never been, visit the website and make sure to bring the 40 per cent off coupon because connecting to the site at the cashier can be laggy depending on the day.

Really like this store, so many things I could make. Is a bit pricey unless you look for the specials. I bought small containers of outdoor paint to put color on a large metal garden heron. Haven't done the work yet.
