I accidentally dropped my laptop and required a new touch screen. The staff at Microkool found and installed a new screen for me at a very good price! The staff are super friendly & efficient, definitely my "go-to" shop!

Knowledgeable, quick service. Fixed the hinge on my laptop very quickly and gave me great advice about some additional computer questions. A good experience for someone with minimal computer savvy.

Excellent computer repair shop! Back in 2020, I had a 2016 ASUS Windows 10 laptop that developed a issue with not being able to create a system restore image on a external laptop drive I had been using solely with the computer since purchased new and was working fine. I first went to Forest City Computers, without even looking at the computer they immediately assumed and quoted $150 to re-install Windows 10 - boy were they ever wrong on that one! I then went to Carrie Computer Care, who fixed a couple other minor issues, but ultimately did not fix the issue of the computer not being able to create a system restore image.

Took the laptop into Microkool a couple weeks later, explained the issue in person and explained the issue couldn't be the laptop drive as it was working normally. A day later I got a call back from the computer tech, who explained the issue was the internal 1 TB hard drive had a sector on it that was failing. They offered to replace the internal hard drive, and they even had new SSD internal hard drive that were better quality than the original. I spent just under $300 and got the computer working and functioning like new, with all the files, software etc put on & functioning normally.

Seriously, if you need a computer repaired, look these guys up! VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSSIONAL. And more importantly, the diagnosed the issue correctly the *FIRST* time and didn't overcharge or play silly games like some repair shops do! And whatever you do, DON'T go to Sam at Forest City Computers on Oxford St - that guy is a idiot and a scam artist who doesn't know what the heck he is talking about and totally unprofessional. If it's 1 thing I hate, it's repair shops or retail stores that try to play games with customers and sell you services or products you don't need.

Had issues with my charging port on my phone for the past year and was very frustrated. A simple call to the store and they were very welcoming in telling me to bring it in to be checked out. Once I got there service was so friendly and quick, and my issue was fixed! Pricing was very fair and will most definitely go back for any future tech issues I have:)

Great service. Fixed my MacBook within the week. Hussein and his team were extremely professional and nice, and also worked quickly. The price was fair, they didn’t guarantee that some of the water damage on the screen would be fixed but they fixed it for me anyways. Thank you guys!

The owner is amazing! Seriously the nicest person my mom and I have ever met. They did a wonderful job fixing my macbook for a much more affordable cost compared to apple who was trying to charge me 1000$. I will be telling all my friends and family that this is the place to go! Thank you guys so much!

Excellent, courteous and knowledgable staff! They diagosed the problem quickly and got my 11 year old laptop up and running smoothly with a new hard drive and all of my files restored! Highly recommended.

I can not recommend this place highly enough! Hussein and Brandon work MAGIC. I had my laptop break down on me around 1pm today, and by 5pm it was cleaned/fixed & back up and running at a very reasonable price. Hussein delivers wonderful customer service - he was professional, courteous, and very knowledgable. He laid out all my options, and made me feel comfortable and reassured. Highly recommend if you're needing a fast laptop repair at a reasonable price! Broke my 6 month old laptop, was quoted 450 and at least a week every where else I went. They repaired my laptop for half the price and were able to get it back to me in 4 days, would have been even quicker if I didn't drop it off before the weekend. Super happy, thank you for the pleasant experience!

Very happy with them. Not sure what they did to my computer but it works now, and they only charged me the diagnostic fee. Acer was ready to charge me 400 dollars for I’m not sure what. I will definitely go back to them next time my laptop inevitably stops working.

I went in there with my laptop that had a couple screws missing and they gave me the screws I needed for free! The guys are awesome to deal with, definitely coming back if I need help in the future!

I’ve been going to Microkool for years, ever since I lived down the street from them for my undergrad. Now, even several years post undergrad, they’re still the first place I go to for any computer issues. There is no other place in London that provides the kind of expertise, quick support, and professionalism that these guys give. Hussein is a hell of a magician when it comes to computers and offers very fair prices. Come here first for any computer fixes you might need, you won’t regret it!

An honest shop that will not charge you ridiculous amounts for simple fixes. I first came to them when my laptop's hinge broke - I managed to replace it but was missing a specific type of screw, and they not only had it, but gave it to me for free when I needed no other services! They also took a look at my laptop for cheap when it broke during school, and when it was found to be a $250 motherboard repair on a $450 5 year old laptop, they let me know that that they sold refurbished laptops for cheap. I was thrilled to find out that they had a wide array of Lenovo Thinkpads, my go-to brand for laptops. They sold me a $400 refurbished laptop that works really well (minor issues like not-so-great battery life and no internal wifi driver) for a fraction of the price I would pay elsewhere. Couldn't be happier! The owner is also extremely kind and pays attention to customers despite a busy schedule.

I got my screen replaced, after couple month, the middle part turns non responsive. I just got it looked at and it’s not the phone itself’s problem. Should’ve just paid more at the apple store: (

I'm a foreign student working on some pretty specific hardware and software. These guys helped me install Linux on my laptop after my many failed attempts. Really fast service, decent price and good customer service. The owner was very patient to listen to my woes and honest about what they could and couldnt help with. My problems are all solved now thanks to some tinkering on my part and their professional help.give em ago if youre in the area!
