They are always super nice, always super helpful and always has a great selection and prices. They always have my orders ready to go and for me to pick up. I have been shopping there since I was a kid and I keep going back Mircoplay is the best video game store in Canada.

Best gaming store! I love how they carry older systems and games, other leading retail stores just don't compare in any way. I hope they stay in business forever and I do what I can to support them by purchasing from them. Yea you may pay a bit more here and there for certain items but that's what it takes to run a business and to supply the customer with everything they want. You guys are awesome, keep up with what you guys are doing.

Today around 5: 20pm I went into Microplay in Newmarket to trade in some games to put towards a purchase of a new Spider-Man 2 PS5 game and console. Both employees (One of them being a manager) Advised me that they cannot trade the games at this time. What I fail to understand this is store is open 6 PM so shouldn’t that mean that they should be serving customers until 6 PM?

The manager advises that he wouldn’t have enough time to give me a proper assessment of what I was trading in but the funny thing is he didn’t even have a look at what I was planning to Trade-in so how do you know that he didn’t or wouldn’t have enough time? There weren’t that many games, it actually wouldn’t have taken that long and both of us would’ve been happy because I would’ve purchased a PlayStation 5 with a Spider-Man 2 game for my son and they would’ve got a nice sale out of it.

Last thing is I asked the manager when the owner was in and he had no clue, no contact information, no help. It’s hard for me to comprehend how a store manager cannot put a client in contact with his owner. I proceeded on telling the manager That I could’ve bought $10,000 worth of products and he allowed me to walk out the door without even asking what I was looking for or what I was trading in …. If I was his owner and I found out my manager was letting sales walk out of the store like that would be extremely upset.

Anyway, that’s my rant for the day I recommend People staying away Unless the owner gets back to me to make things right.

I have been going here since I was a kid and they have always been great. I saw some cool pins on their Facebook page and went to grab some the other day. They had an awesome selection and they were way cooler than any pins I found in Tokyo last month. Thanks guys!

Great place to find random deals and old retro games. There arent any game shops in my town anymore, but shopping online here kinda takes me back to that old experience, and if theres ever an issue they phone me, which is awesome.

This store is incredible. I needed 3 -PS5 items for Xmas. Controller "leBron james", headset, and Madden 24 game. Im not one to order on line. I called the store to make sure they had it before ordering. Every big box store around me has these items advertised. None have stock. Then I found Microplay, not only do they have it. It was all cheaper then the advertised price at the big box stores. LeBron James controller is 199.99 at Walmart. I picked it up for 99.99. Everything I purchased was cheaper. Then free delivery. I spent just over 350 dollars on Saturday. I received the product today. Great service. The gentleman on the phone checked every item I inquired about. It was in stock I bought it. Great job. They even threw in a Thank you note. Above and beyond. You have a new customer for life.

This place has everything for new and old gamers alike. From Atari to Zelda, you will find something you absolutely need to have. Confident staff and a kid friendly environment alone make it worth a visit. And don't worry if something is out of your price range they are always willing to negotiate a "trade and save" using old games and systems you possess.
