Amazing experience every time! They do a courtesy check to check for so many things that could be wrong with the car FOR FREE! And they found a screwdriver i accidently dropped when i was changing my air cleaner filter. These guys are the best:)

Sean and the team at Midas Bronson always take great care of me and my 2012 Kia. I had a reoccurring issue with my door and they not only fixed it, but squeezed me in without having to make an appointment every time ot happened to try and pin point the issue when it kept happening. Bronson Midas have been my mechanics for over a decade. Service has always been personal and excellent. Twice now I have been taken in urgently with no prior appointment despite how busy they were! They explain all options and work very hard to provide the best possible service. Shawn and Ken are awesome! Thank you!

I go to Midas just for an oil change but They automatically inspect the car. I pretend that I don't know much about cars and don't know what pieces should be changed.
As soon as they learn I am not familiar with cars (which is not true), most of the parts of my car become loose and driving it is more dangerous and scary. So I need to replace some parts quickly.
Some of the parts that Midas notices as dangerous are already replaced with new ones a few months before the visit.
For me, they lost their credibility because they still didn't learn how to be honest when they run a business.

I just moved to the area. This team is efficient and friendly. I was on my way in no time!

$180 (after tax) for a seasonal tire change is absolutely ridiculous. Charged $40 per tire!

Told me they would call when the car was done, they didn’t.

I am convinced that this is the best garage in Ottawa for tires, oil change, and mechanicals including clutch, brakes, suspension components

They charged me more than threy claimed at first and it is disappointing.

Thank you for your complete explanation, however it was a part of your courtesy check and recieved money for that. But, I do not remove the review as you must give me a correct price estimation before setting the appointment. At first, you asked me the model and year of my car then you said all services are possible for my car. Then after I came for appointment you changed your talk and said the company recommended the most expensive service! But I didn't want to waste my time after coming for appointment. Please be more respectful to your customers time. I think it is your trick because you know that most of people do not cancel appointment after coming to garage.
All in all, I compared your oil change service fee with other auto repairs and it was higher and what you put on your website is not a true price.

Showed up at the Bronson Midas 8am thinking I had spoken to them yesterday about getting my winter tires put on. My bad, I’m not sure who I spoke to yesterday. Buddy took my car and did the tire change right away like a champ. Great people work at this location.

I used to go to Bank st Midas, then changed to Bronson st due to shorter distance. Everything was okay (although they mess up scheduling a lot)

I went there today and they charged $183 for winter tire change (not on rims). I was surprised by the charge as its a large jump from the last time I changed tire here.

In the invoice, they charge $14.99 per tire for parts? For air? So that's $59.96 for what?

I called bank st Midas and they were surprised to hear thats how much I was charged. They said they charge only $100 plus tax for the same service.

Feeling ripped off. You bet I wouldn't be going there anymore.

Came for service and planned to drop off car. Instead, berated by staff that they would tow the car for parking in their lot without an appointment. Staff needs to chill out, will definitely be talking with owner.

Shaun and his crew are great! They provide efficient service, fair prices, and good customer service. With scheduled appointments, you can rely on getting in and out in a reasonable time.

Good products and efficient service but be sure to ask for a cost estimate before you authorize the repair and keep note of it.

Incredibly rude staff. Helped a friend limp their car here to get checked out and was immediately screamed at by an employee for parking the car out front. We explained the vehicle had an issue and we wanted it to get checked out and was threatened with a tow. Took our business elsewhere.

The guys here go above and beyond to help me take care of my car. Its my first newish car and im super paranoid about any strange sound or vibration and they will happily take a quick look at it at no cost just to help give me peace of mind. They give great customer service and i feel confident in that the services they recommend will help keep my car safely on the road for as long as possible. I feel good spending my money on services here. Top shelf. 10/10 would recommend.:)

We arrived with a flat tyre on a rented car. Our car rental company wasn't making things easy, but Shawn (at Midas) was a super star! He really went above and beyond! I'd definitely recommend, as service here is outstanding (at least in our experience).

First things first, Midas being open on a Saturday is a big advantage for people like me who hardly can find time during weekdays with the 8am-5pm work schedule. Kudos to that! With my really old car's fuel strap getting cracked while driving, I couldn't risk driving any longer to have my fuel tank drop down somewhere on the highway. Thanks to Midas - Bronson, it was fixed within an hour on a Saturday and it's back on road clean as ever. Worth the money and time. I'd definitely prefer Midas as my go-to garage for any services. 10/10 would recommend Midas to anyone as well!

I visited this location Yesterday and changed my Vehicle's oil, filter and Winter Tires. The Manager Shawn and his team are very polite, professional and honest. I would definitely recommend this location to my family and friends.

I brought my car into my normal shop after a vibration and loud noise developed. The analysis was that *very expensive part* needed replacing, and trusting them, I gave them the go ahead to do the work. A week later, and after days trying to get an update, I was told that *very expensive part* is on back order with no idea when it will be available.

So I called Midas on Bronson, told them what my usual shop said, and they assured me that they could get *very expensive part* easily. I retrieved my car and brought it to Midas for the work.

Soon after, Midas called and let me know that *very expensive part* was actually perfectly fine, and I don't need it replaced. A much less expensive part needed to be swapped out and some minor repairs on the exhaust system, but that's all.

I was extremely pleased and thankful for their honesty, integrity and professionalism. They could have sold me a part I didn't need and performed unnecessary work, but they didn't. And where my old shop had my car for a week and could not fix it, Midas got the work done in under a day.

They will definitely be getting more of my business.

Travelling from WPG to Ottawa, at some point I blew my exhaust and a cv boot. I didn’t know the boot had torn (very dangerous especially for highway driving), I’m glad the mechanic was able to spot this as it could possibly have saved me from harm. An unexpected expense on my trip but worth it.

These guys were absolute lifesavers! We got off the highway in Ottawa at 1: 30 in the afternoon on a Saturday and found our brakes were making a terrible grinding noise. They were so incredibly helpful - walked out to the car and almost immediately identified the problem, pointing it out in a way that even I could see it (I am not mechanically-inclined!). The tech drove it to confirm that was the issue, and they had it fixed and we were on our way in less than an hour. They were even able to salvage the most expensive part, saving us a lot of money. I am so grateful for their expertise and expediency!

Highly recommended! Sean the manager at the front was very pleasant and honest they inspected my car showed me why they don't recommend doing the alignment and gave me a quote for the parts needs to be replaced and didn't charge me a dime.
If it was any other garage they would have just went done the alignment and charged me without telling me that alignment wasn't possible without changing the control arms.

Went for alignment, gave me a list of issues, north of $1000 repairs. Went to my mechanic, nothing in the list was an issue. Got my alignment done elsewhere.

This is my 3rd time at this location and it’s the best customer service I’ve ever received from a repair shop. I cannot forget the name Sean as this gentleman has an excellent customer service skills and communication skills. I highly recommend this place.

My dad brings his car here regularly and has nothing but great things to say about his experience (s) every time. He says they check everything even when getting just an oil change and they’re honest!

I use Midas mainly for my oil changes but they have saved me a few times in the past. My recent experience was excellent - great customer service, good environment. I had no appointment for an oil change and they had room for me and let me stay parked there until later in the day when I was able to get back to the shop. They are realistic in their schedule and for that will generally be ahead of schedule. My car died at the gas station across the street once and they figured out how to get it to the shop so they could fix the issue and did not charge me anything extra for saving me a towing fee! Thank you Midas!

I went in for an oil change but they discovered the pothole I hit on the highway the day before had done a ton of damage. Had a torn cv boot, damaged suspension arm, and even the transmission fluid lines were busted and leaking.
Sean (sorry if I'm misspelling it) was great! He explained it all to me and was very knowledgeable. He tried to have the car done by the end of the day so I could get to work the next day but their parts supplier sent them the wrong cv boot. Otherwise, it would have been done that night.
The prices were reasonable and I appreciate that Sean tried to lower it by adding as many discount coupon codes as he could.
Very happy with the service and will be coming back in the future.

I’ve buy and fixed a new battery on June 28 and my battery dropped me again on June 29 (less than 24h) while I was working. I spent my time and money. This is not serious at all.

Called up Midas as a previous shop I took it to said that my outer tie rod was very loose and I had this replaced by midas 6ish month ago. They stated it was under warranty and that I can take it in. I took the car in to get the part replaced and afterwards they took the car for a test drive and said everything was ok.

I got in my car and drove home. On the way home I heard a TERRIBLE noise coming from my car when I was driving straight / turning (not braking). I turned my car around and went straight back to the shop. I explained to the shop rep that the car is making a terrible noise and it didn't do this when I first brought it in. They spent about an hour diagnosing the issue and said they couldn't figure out what is causing the noise. I was told it was possibly a brake caliper siezing, and since my car was making such a terrible noise I agreed to do a brake inspection. They then took off all my brakes and inspected them. They put the brakes back on. I spoke to the mechanic and the mechanic said there's no issues and that my calipers are not seized. They then spent another hour diagnosing / test driving and all of the sudden the noise "magically" disappeared. I went in to pay for the brakes inspection (56$~) and was told that my brakes were worn and they need to be replaced soon. I asked why didn't they SHOW me the brakes were worn and what the pads look like. Instead the rep said that you can see it when the wheels are on the car. So he went over and tried to show me through the wheel what the calipers and rotors look like.

This might be pure coincidence but to me it's sounds very sketchy when I had no issues with noise when I first brought my car in, and then when work is completed their was a terrible noise. Then when I paid for a brake inspection nothing was wrong, but magically the noise is gone.

Stopped into these guys on a quick emergency. Didnt know what was wrong but a knocking sound out front.

Fella at the counter said they were booked solid but given that we were from out of town and had a kid at a doctor appt, they fit us in.

Turns out one of the front tires was loose. Tightened it up and we were good to go at no charge, despite my insistence on paying.

Prompt, friendly, courteous. All around a great place and will absolutely come here again. Will definitely recommend to anyone as well.

Very honest! I went in to get my battery replaced because it was slightly cranking. Moreover, I had my car for over 7 years so I thought it needed a battery replacement.

After discussing the price and everything I was told that the mechanic performed a test on my battery and it turns out it's brand new. Saved me 400$. Thank you!

SCAM! FRAUD! All good reviews are FAKE! Brought my car in and they didn't do anything my car needed to run. Charged me a ridiculous amount for nothing.

My wife and I have been coming here with our two cars for over ten years. Nobody else can touch our vehicles. This week, Sean and Ken saved me from buying a lemon from a dealer with their excellent long-term prognosis of likely problems "down the road". Thanks all around!

Best garage ever. Midas on Bronson ave (450 Bronson ave.) It's simply the best, I live in Gatineau these a Midas 10 minutes away from my home, but I rather drive to the one on Bronson where the quality of the customer service is simply exceptional. They are very quick to book your an appointment and most of the time they can work around your schedule. Very same place to go, they respect the governmental guidelines for Covid-19. I'm very happy costumer and my car too.

I recently had two very pleasant and professional experiences at Midas. I took the car in for an oil change, during which the Midas employees discovered a necessary repair. The employees were incredibly helpful and informative, but did not push at all. I decided to use their services again for the repair and again it was fast and professional. I will certainly return in the future.

Very nice service and experience, staff are very friendly and explain you cleary your problem and tell you if it's an emergency or you can wait before to do repair.

I grew up on a farm and used to work on cars with my old man, and I can tell you that not once has the Midas staff given me an inflated estimate or overcharged me for a smaller job.

The best place to take your car. These folks are honest and treat you well. I went in a couple of weeks ago and was impressed with their service (including bringing my car back in for a second inspection to ensure they could fully address my concern). The staff are also always very kind and listen well. It's very rare to get this kind of service (based on my previous experience at other places) and so I'm not letting this place go. Also, if you're looking for solid windshield wipers, then purchase them here. I had many cars and many different wipers and I think I just found the perfect ones that actually wipe the windshield clean without leaving any residual residue. Clean and clear! I went there to get my saftey, they did my brakes service, I ended up spending almost 700$ there, after I picked up my car I noticed noise coming from my left front wheel so I went back to the office after 2 minutes they told me this coming from your transmission and it's not because of brakes, and xxxxx $ cost you to fix it, i took my car to another mechanic he said this is coming from your brakes he fixed it in 15 minutes and they charged 30$ for Midas mess.

1- either Midas lied to me about transmission or their mechanic they don't know what they actually doing and saying.

2- if my car had problem with transmission how did you pass my saftey it would put people life in danger.

Really happy with the service at this Midas location. They take the time to explain every service they recommend for your car and if the service is urgent or can wait a few months. I've also bought tires from them after comparing a few other locations and not finding any better price.
