Ever since the old Randy left and the new Randy took over its been brutal.won't even go there anymore. My sister came in in summer for new tires and they put winters on.unbelievable

I started my experience off with amazing customer service over the phone with Dawn. Midas has very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were able to schedule me within hours of calling. Midas also pointed out some faults from my last oil change which were helpful. They offer many services and great deals!

Trust is a big issue with me. I set up my appointment online with no problem. The work was done in a timely manner. And, with guarantees and warranties I'm very satisfied. I literally have trusted this garage more than any other in the Niagara region for more than 15 years.

The Midas location on Hartzel Rd.is the BEST! I have been dealing with this location for over 42 years-especially when I need exhaust work done. The service and staff are EXCELLENT. Yesterday, I breezed in with an exhaust problem that was fixed nearly on the spot. The staff were all so friendly and it was like dealing with my old friends again. I knew the previous owner Randy who was an excellent businessman and now with the new owners having been there for a few years now, the excellent service continues. I wouldn't go anywhere else for repairs.

I have been to this location quite a few times and the staff has always been wonderful and have done a great job on my vehicles. Keep up the great customer service!

This Midas Shop finally fixed my improper exhaust installation, done by Midas Ontario Street. Which was installed just over three weeks ago. The mechanic I spoke with at Midas Hartzel Rd, was friendly and knowledgeable. He levelled off my tilted muffler and raised it to the proper height. They also did not charge me for the installation repair, as I recently bought the new exhaust from Midas. I am very appreciative of their help.

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. I did one minor part change which was worth $70 including tax online, but they changed me $175 for that. Plus, it usually takes 30-45 minutes to replace that, they took $200 of labor for that. On top of that, they also charged me $79 for engine coolant (online price $16) and when I did open the hood, the coolant was only partially filled. They just want your MONEY. Later on, when I did complain for everything, staff started talking extremely rudely with me. I WOULD BURN MY CAR RATHER THEN GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. STRONGLY NON RECOMMEND PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAR.

I have been going to the Midas on Hartzel Road in St. Catherines for more than 15 years. I will not bring my vehicles anywhere else for service, and I don't even live in St. Catherines.
Their friendly and welcoming Customer Service can't be beaten, and their Mechanics are very experienced, honest and have much integrity; those are extremely rare traits in today's society.
Give them a try, you will not regret it and you will see what I mean!

Absolutely disgusted with this place! I called to ask them to install an aftermarket muffler I had bought and I already knew what exactly what was needed for adaptors an extra pipe to make it work and they told me they won’t install outside parts. Meanwhile they don’t even sell the muffler I’m looking for and when I called the other Midas on Ontario st.and they said no problem at all. Would have taken them an hour or two.

Everyone was more than helpful getting our issue diagnosed and fixed so efficiently. Great service, honest estimates and wonderful communication through the whole process. (Alternator replacement and oil change)

Had an awesome experience there today, took the car in for an oil change and was done in about half an hour, the cost was amazing! Staff was very friendly! I would totally bring the car here again for anything else.

Had my truck in for brakes and a fuel pump. The ladies at the front desk, Dawn and Shelly were amazing to deal with super pleasant. Never once tried to up sell anything. The mechanic, Mike, was also Amazing. Truck treated as if it was their own vehicle. Would definitely recommend this garage to anyone

Let me start by saying, this place gives the feel of a mom and pop shop, even though it’s a franchise. Dawn is something special! She’s warm and friendly and greeted me with a smile! They were helpful and informative. The mechanic that completed my oil change did a thorough inspection and notes that I need my battery replaced very soon. They quoted me on battery prices but were honest about being able to find them better priced elsewhere. This is the honesty I have been looking for at an auto mechanic shop. Thank you very much for everything, I will be back and recommend you to anyone looking for the great customer service, fair prices and best of all HONESTY!

On February 1st we called Midas. Of course mufflers always fall off in the most inconvenient day, but Dawn said to bring in right over and they would have a look. Also as always happens, the car needed a part that had to be ordered. Rick showed me exactly what needed to be done, and why, and assured me the car would be safe overnight and he would take care of it the next day as soon as possible. Sure enough, at 9: 15 the next morning I got a call telling me it was ready to go. Overall my dealing with Midas was a 10/10. I would recommend them to anyone, as my daughter had recommended to me. Thanks Dawn and Rick. This was actually my birthday, and not how I had planned spending it, but was the least stressful part of getting older.

I have been treated very well at this Midas location. We just moved into the area. First time they changed my tires. I did not have to wait long
The second time, I did not have an appointment, but needed to check my battery. Shelly took me right in, and within 15 minutes my battery was checked, it was still good, and they didn't even charge me!

They told my girlfriend her oil change would be no problem, the normal rate. Once they drained the car however, all of a sudden it needs "special" oil and an expensive filter making a $60 oil change into a $300 one. With the oil already drained from the car, what choice does a customer have than to continue and get soaked by the shop? It's not like they can put the old oil back. This is clearly a scam, and possibly targeted at unsuspecting customers who don't understand cars very well. The real kicker is that the oil cap on the car says Castrol and the engine oil they put in could have been bought at Canadian tire for $18-30 a jug. Special oil, it is not.
