Get my oil change most of the time. From Midas.service is good.people are great. The only problem I have.is Everytime I get my oil change I was never charged for a tire rotation.when he told me the bill was $80+. I was shocked & ask him why.he told me because I wanted a tire rotation, I told him I always get an oil change with tire rotation never been charged in the past. I told him you should have told me this when I came in not do the job and then tell me later. He called supervisor and told the supervisor look look at my records and you'll see I never paid for tire rotation.supervisor was kind enough to take it off the bill but he says that next time there will be charge. I was not impressed with that remark. I may have to go somewhere else now.

Where to start. I went there to do a traditional oil change and immediately they tried to upsell me to synthetic oil. Then to replace my engine air filter they wanted $49. I ordered from amazon for $26 while waiting for my oil change to be completed.
Parts Source also has for $26 as well. I asked for new windshield wipers for driver & passenger sides as my passenger side one was damaged. When they handed my keys back to me I went to leave and tested my new wipers. Well low and behold the passenger side was not cleaning well. I go out and inspect and realized they hadn't actually replaced my wipers.
I pointed this out to the staff and they pop my hood? Why would you pop the hood to change wipers you may ask? Well this is because the replacement wipers, still in their packaging were sitting inside my engine! This could have caused serious damage to my engine if I had driven off without checking. This is my first visit to Midas and I was not impressed. The golden touch did not happen for me.

Great experience! I showed up about an hour before closing, during the busy winter tire change season, to get my tire plugged. They fixed it right away. Guido was very nice and helpful, would recommend this place for sure!

Dropped in without an appointment to have my muffler inspected and was pleasantly surprised they squeezed me in and got the work done in a reasonable timeframe. I got good vibes from the folks there as they were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable and reasonable. The suggested ways I could save money on the work that was required instead of forcefully recommending the more expensive options.
I would definitely recommend paying them a visit if you need work done.

So what started with a routine oil change, ended with a damaged engine and a $6000 repair. The oil was changed, not enough oil was put in the car. Engine light came on, joe misdiagnosed it, I ended up having to change parts that didn't even need to be changed. Just to have my engine completely die because of the negligence on their part. The owner of this place Stephen, said he hated dealing with customers. I ended up having to pay for the repair myself. After speaking to people in the community I found out that many people had bad experiences with this location (i.e wheel not being screwed on properly, claiming a person needed brakes done when they didnt, its also known for upselling)

My experience at 1707 Queen street E, Brampton location was awful. I left my car at 11am for oil change. The lady, Jennifer said i will only get it by 3pm and will be contacted once done. I was okay with the situation, since i acknowledged it was busy. Jennifer called me at 3: 46 pm and then 3: 55pm saying your car is ready and we close at 4pm so pay over the phone, we need to go home. I was shocked since i was far and it would have at least taken me 20 mins to reach the shop. She said that i can leave the key inside your car as we need to go home. There was no information provided to me that your car is being serviced now, so please be at the shop by 3: 30pm, but rather a call at 3: 55pm saying- PAY over the PHONE, WE NEED TO GO HOME!
Ridiculous service! Jennifer is so rude and had zero professionalism. I informed her that my car won't even lock, if you leave the keys inside. She said, well hurry up then, as we have to go home.
When i reached, my car was open with the keys inside my car. They have 0 sense of responsibility with poor customer service. I can't believe people with such attitude are working for Midas. I was waiting to be contacted in advance about my car and not at 3: 55PM. I have saved the call logs since my car was left abandoned with 0 sense of ownership by Midas as i relied on them for service. Also, my car has 3 dents on the hood. It looks like someone dropped something heavy on it. I believe due to the mishandling by their service guys, they thought to call me at last and leave my vehicle abandoned.

I ONLY still go here for warranty on parts previously installed and because I live close to this location! Service is fast and always a problem after! I have difficulty feeling good about the quality of the service I receive. I seem to have to go twice to get it done right. I wonder if is just me? How does this happen so often? Their friendly and mean well but.added 2 stars from previous review.

Guido and Jenn were both helpful and pleasant. I took my Lexus in for major repairs and general maintenance. The work was done promptly and reasonably priced. I then took my Ram 1500 in for service and this was also completed satisfactorily. Their mechanics seem to be knowledgeable and efficient. All work was completed within the promised time frame and all additional work needed was only completed after consulting me. An overall positive experience. I'll post follow-up after driving the vehicles for a while.

I went to change over my winter tires and it was not done correctly. The driver side tire was losing pressure, so I took it in to another location and was told that the tire was not fit firmly on the rim. This was a scary experience for me.

Started going there a few years ago and when I asked them if I should do the repairs on a 10-year-old vehicle they told me yes if worth it, you should be able to keep your truck for a couple of year if you do that. I ended up paying a lot of money and needed to replace my truck because the issues after where worse than before and it felt unsafe to drive my kids around with that truck. They issue a credit and we kept it at that. I ended up trading my truck for a newer one within 2 weeks of them doing the unnecessary repairs.
I wanted to give them a second chance and took another of my vehicle in to get the brakes done. I ended up paying $500 more than what the dealership would of charge me.
I would not recommend that mechanic for any reason. They are over price and trying to get more money than it would normally cost at a family own mechanic shop.

Very pleased to deal with the friendly people both in the front office and service bays. Good job was done to service my vehicle and reasonable price to do the job.

I have been using my community Midas for a lot, a lot of years. So is familiar with some of the employees who have been there over the years.

I came here for oil change on monday (NOV9). After 3-4 days the cover under my car, came off while i was driving. Thank god nothing happened, it could have been worse. Then i went back to them they did fix it but they should have done it properly in the first place. Very disappointed with their service. Such a careless work from them. They call themselves mechanic, can’t even put the bolts properly. Avoid this place.

I went to the dealer and called Midas after confirming how much Nissan was going to charge. Midas saved me over $400 dollars. If it wasn't for Covid I would of hugged them.

Quick and easy in and out. Like all midases. Called and had an appointment next day. They called me when they found an issue and had it done same day. Straight shooters here, will revisit when the time requires

Took my car in recently to get it serviced. Being my first time there, Steven really helped get what i need done on my car for a reasonable price and his staff were honest and told me what was important to get done and which things i can push a bit more which really helped save me some money as well. I would highly recommend this midas location and will for sure be coming back again!

This is the worst garage in Brampton. It is not worth a singe star. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Their work and knowledge is next to none. In my opinion they should close and move on. They couldn’t do a simple oil change on my car and half way through the job wanted me to pay for oil change that they botched up.

My engine started overheating and I do not live in the area. Guido, the shop manager, was amazing. He checked the fluids and engine and didnt charge me. He was so nice! Thanks for the hospitality in Bramalea!

I had a horrible experience with them. Went there for oil change and they dented (heavy dent) my car from the front (left side). Luckily, I saw the dent before I pick the car.

Dropped my car at 8: 05 on Tuesday Sept 9th, 2019. When I went to pick up the car, it had a big dent in the front. The owner was not there, showed it to receptionist and the tech but they don't accept their fault. They said its an old dent and started showing me how they lift the car inside for oil change. The dent clearly shows its a current one and it has the yellow colour from the tools they use inside for oil change.

I told them I need to speak to the owner and did not pick the car. After 10 mins the tech call'd me saying the owner won't be coming onsite today. I told him I'll not pick the car unless he see or fix it. Received a call from the owner after few hours who was not onsite said he saw the pictures on the phone sent by his staff and his manager has seen the dent. There's no PROOF that it happened inside MIDAS. I told him to check the security Camera, he said they don't have a security Camera. How can MIDAS be so careless they allow franchise stores without security cameras. Forget about inside they don't have SECURITY CAMERA outside.

NO HELP at all! I'm SCREWED for doing oil change at this location. What I paid for oil change, probably I'll have to pay 5 to 10 times more to fix the DENT.

I have reported the incident to MIDAS Canada. Lets see what response I get from them. Its been 36 hours since I reported it. Haven't heard anything back. I hope they come up with solution.

WRONG decision to go to this location and I have to pay the PRICE!

Guido and the crew take care of me whenever I have an issue. They drop me off and pick me up when I need it and are always fair and reasonable. I have referred them to many friends and will continue to.

They don't tell you when they are unable or lack the knowledge to do certain jobs. They would charge you as completed job. I have 2 examples.

1) They didn't have the oil filter for my car, went ahead with the oil change and put back the dirty filter. Asked me to go to the dealer 45 minutes away to buy the filter, rush back before 6 pm so they can put it in. (That's like wearing your dirty clothes after a shower, rush to the store to buy new ones, rush home to put on the new clothes.) They should have told the customer they didn't have the filter, but they went ahead with it. They didn't deduct the cost of the filter from the service. I was charged full price.

2) Early this year, I replaced the pressure gauge on my tires. I paid for parts and installation, which means they should be connected to the on-board computer. The guy told me, "it might come online later, just drive it around a few days. " That's not how computer works, but I reckon it was Saturday evening, they were all eager to push me out of the door. I had a flat tire few days later. I don't know if that has anything to do with them peeling the tire sideways in such violent way to show me the broken gauges. Had the gauges been connected, they would have warned me before I drove with the flat.
I foolishly went back to them to replace the tire, and ask them to connect the pressure gauges. They replaced the tire but unable to connect the gauges. He asked me to go to Bramalea Tires.
I went to Bramalea Tires few days later, they said they have to charge me about $70. I don't think it was fair. I then call them to ask if they can reimburse me. The manager said to come in and he would take care of it. He was very vague about when is a good time. He said weekday late mornings is less busy.
When I bring the car back on a weekday around 10 am, they were shocked and annoyed that I brought it in at their busy hours. The receptionist asked, "He told you to come in today? " I said, he was vague. I used speaker phone and even my coworker who overheard thought it was funny that he said anytime is fine, but except almost every day is no good. So I just come in on a weekday morning.
They said they were all very busy, so I have to wait. Turns out they have to get someone to drive my car to Bramalea Tires to fix the problem. It was so inefficient. They should just reimburse me. I waited for an hour before someone has time to go to Bramalea Tire, then wait another 2 hours until another guy has time to pick up my car. They all have such annoyed face. I think they were punishing me by making me wait for hours.
A week later, the manager called to "follow up", to shout at me. He said that, "You told my girl that I give you a run around! Which I didn't. " What I said was he told me to come in anytime, then said weekend is no good, best weekday late mornings, Saturday morning is alright, Monday is busy.yet when I arrived "Tuesday late morning" as suggested, it's not a good time. He repeatedly shouting at me saying he didn't give me a "run around", he accused me for broadcasting our conversation at my office so everyone can laugh at him. He is not an articulate person, very emotional. He was shouting like a child and seems to think I owe him an apology for embarrassing him in front of his "girl" (receptionist). He kept saying that he's not calling to pick a fight, yet he kept shouting.
He also thinks that they deserve thank you for taking "extra care" for my car. How is that "extra" when you are the one who lack the knowledge to complete the work and have to outsource it?

p.s. The "girl" is so bad with cars. She was holding an air filter and told the customer that she needs to replace it, otherwise the car would not work. The customer asked, "What is that? What does it do? " The girl said, "It's the engine. For the car. " The customer just wanted a simple oil change and said leave it. The girl kept saying, that the car wouldn't work properly. She repeated 3 times calling it the "engine" before a mechanic came to explain the customer what air filter does.

I went to this Midas location for a safety test of my Corolla 2003. Per schedule I arrived, they greeted me courteously and rolled in my car immediately for evaluation. They soon informed me that the car needed attention for muffler and resonator etc and offered a fair quotation for service of those components. I agreed to have the repairs done right there and the job was completed on time. To conclude it was a pleasant experience.

Had an oil change for my Kia Optima done yesterday.
More expensive than other Midas store I had been (Total $45 including $40 for 5W20 and $5 for something called Consumable product which they did not explain what it is. The other Midas store in North York only charged me $30 for exact same thing last time I went there)
Also, it took them 1.5 hour to finish the job. I came in with an appointment booked at 11: 30am. Got out at 1pm. Did not expect that at all. Should not be more than 30mins.
