Took my car there because of a rattling noise from underside. It was a heat shield, they fixed within a half hour. No charge. Excellent service, trustworthy, will return for my vehicle service needs

Showed up for an oil change appointment at 9 AM. At 10: 30 AM, I could still see my car on hoist and asked how much longer. The man at counter goes to the garage and came back and started talking quietly to manager. The manager finds an oil filter that's been sitting at the top of the counter whole time and gives it to the man at counter. Shortly after, the man came back and processed invoice without offering any apology nor explanation. When I asked "an hour and half? " he replied "Yeah I know, that's why I don't charge you for extra oil". Again no apology nor explanation. I would preferred to have been charged in full and walked away with a better feeling if they said "We are sorry, we forgot about the filter". Anyone can make a mistake, it's how you handle it matters. It was ironic to see that the most of their walled marketing materials are focused on being honest and transparent. PS. There were only 2 customers including myself in the store but the man at the counter asked me what kind of car when I asked how much longer, as if he did not know me.
This Midas saved me from a botched Canadian tire service. They were super informative, kind, honest and pleasant. They helped me with no appointment. I could not be more thankful and I will be coming here for all services going forward. Beyond rare in today's world.
Excellent customer service from both Brad & Andrew. Was sceptical about the reviews at first but after visiting them, I only have praise. No unnecessary charges, during the 3 visits for 2 vehicles. They're the cheapest for Vehicle Safety Inspection at $99 (before tax). I will definitely be going there in the future. Thank you guys for the great service.
I went in for an inspection worried i would be bombarded with all these different fixes i would have to pay for.but no-simple, free, quick fix from a super friendly and pleasant staff. To say I'm pleased with the outcome of my appointment would be an understatement. Thank you Andrew and the Midas team for such outstanding services. I would definitley come back for other kinds of repairs. You just got yourselves a repeat customer.
I was relaying on honest service at Midas, Richmond Hill, it turned to be quite opposite. On May 17 I brought my vehicle for oil change and the service was done approx.in 35-40 min. I paid the bill but was given wrong keys. Adviser went inside to check and told me some truck is blocking my car, so I have to wait. This was the 1-st lie, after 10 min.he told me they have to clean my car, this was a 2-d lie. At this point I went outside looking for my vehicle, and to my surprise the car was not in the garage, not at the parking lot. Another 10min.past and my vehicle arrived with mechanic delivering some parts for another vehicle. This time adviser told me, there was no parking, so mechanic had to drive around. This was a 3-d lie. In total 30 min.of my time plus my vehicle gas plus unlawful usage (my car - my property) plus dishonest explanation - all this was too much. They admitted their fault and I was given free next oil change. But how can you trust people who lie to you and use your property for their own interest.
The service was fast and well done. I dealt with Brad for getting new winter tires on my Land Rover and Audi and he made sure we got the best tires at the best deal. Our cars drive like a dream and we did not have to spend a fortune. I strongly recommend this location for all your automobile needs.
From the intiital appointment call to cashing out, I felt comfortable and confident with the service at this Midas location. Oil change service was fast and effecient and recommendations were appropriate and priced competitively. The team at the desk are a friendly bunch and I look forward to having my front brakes replaced by at this shop in the next few weeks. As a side note, my engine running much quieter compared to the 'dealer' oil. Thanks guys!
Great place for vehicle maintenance, especially for oil change. They are full mechanics, can do all the jobs the dealer does. But save you lots of money. Nice staff, professional service. Highly recommended

It was my first visit here. I was impressed by the amazing service provided by Brad at the front counter. He is great in customer service. I will definitely recommend him and Midas to anyone.
Horrible experience with the manager Brandon. I went in for an oil change, they offered to change my air and cabin filter, I politely declined and said maybe next time. He went ahead and charged me for the oil change, cabin and air filters, when questioned he said I would be prepaying for next time. Not sure what the pressure is for all these extra services is, but as a amanher he should be embraced to be adding things onto customers invoices after declining the services. Little to say I won't be visiting this Midas in the future
One reviewer had already summed it up with one word, "honest", that's what you get with them, Andrew and everyone else are so welcoming and have taken great care of my car.
Walked into the shop trying to price out a set of tires and they guy at the front tells me what i’m showing him is not a correct tire size. According to him 35X12.5R18 is not a tire size! How do you work in a shop and not know about this format of tire sizes? I had bought tires from the same location. How do you trust a mechanic with bigger things if he doesn’t know how to read a tire size and tells me the number i’m showing is not a correct tire size? Yes 35X12.5R18 is a tire size and the fact that you told me that you can't put that tire size in your system is not false, yes you can search it in your system because another Midas location got me the price. I had left a good review for this location before because Andrew and Bobby had been knowledgeable and very nice to deal with. Been going to them for almost 7 years for maintenance and tire purchase but not anymore! It's not the fact that you thought the tire size was wrong, people make mistakes, it's your attitude and the way you talked and treated me.
Please replace my plugs and clear my code. The car is fifteen years old, and the plugs never changed and it's having trouble starting.
Two hours later, they tell me it will be fifty bucks for the code clear, and sorry, we forgot to mention we didn't change your plugs, or do anything to the car. Or tell you any of this until you called back and saw nothing was replaced.
Complete amateurs, lacking in professionalism, and taking the power away from me to make a decision, only to pay the bill.
This will be disputed, and I'm sure you'll love to hear from Visa about services not delivered and not telling the client.
Aweful service, no professionalism or respect.
1. Go to Mr Lube, better service, same price to the dollar.
2. This location is at Bayview and Major Mackenzie in Richmond Hill, just go somewhere else for service, plenty of choices. Leave these guys to rip off others who have not seen this post.

I am an Uber driver, I am coming here to get proper maintenance for my car, it is almost a year now. Because I drive Mostly uber, my maintenance comes qui, oil filters etc.simple things. Anyway I put winter tires, rotors and brake pads recently, unfortunately brakes are the worse I have ever seen, I take it back, they said nothing wrong, but did something on it.after few days same thing, what I think, it is a cheap part and because I drive a lot not strong to long drive, I paid 1560$ for all but didn't worth it, I ll not go there again, waste of time and money.
After experiencing car trouble on the 407 I pulled off the hwy and pulled into Midas. I had no former relationship with this service station, it was hot, I thought I was going to miss work and I had my dog with me. Long story short, Rino, Andrew and staff went above and beyond by helping me secure a rental car so I could be on my way. I was 3 hours late for work but I made it in. It was the best possible outcome. This team deserves the customer service trophy of 2019!
Very unprofessional. They did not tighten all the screws of the protective cover of my car after the oil change, so caused it to fall off while I was driving in 401!
A friend of mine recommended this location to me and took me in to get a quote as I was apprehensive to try somewhere new. Rino and Andrew provided great customer service. I appreciated the effort to show me the visible issues and problems with my vehicle. I can say that my vehicle feels like new again and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have token my car to this branch of Maidas for break inspection; I was shocked that how come this Auto service shop is ruining the brand of Midas; here are the main points for it: 1. Very unprofessional customer service, 2. Wrong inspection, 3. Expensive parts.
Great service and fair prices but customer service is complete garbage. I was trying to book an appointment to service my car and recieved rude customer service from the gent who answers the phone.
Rip off is an understatement at this Midas location. I’ve been going to this Midas for years with for oil changes and car maintenance. The previous sales (Bobby) was honest and fair, which is why I kept going back for years.
RINO, who seems to be new at this location is NOT to be trusted. I just needed some brake work done at the back but was asking for $700. They wasted 2 hours of my time and took my $60 for a brake inspection that was not needed as I’ve already told them what needs to be done.
I left and went to Canadian tire to do the same job which only took under an hour and came out to $250 after taxes, parts and labour.
Filed a complain with Midas Corporate and was told someone would get back to me within 72 hours. I got a call back from Rino 2 days later and was told you can do business else where if you don’t like it.
Wasted 2 hours of my time and $60. Got the same job done in under an hour and $450 less at Canadian Tire.
I should not have to wait 2.5 hours after I've made an appt for a simple maintenance on my car, though Andrew did apologize for the wait, would be 1 star if it were not for him.
I have been dealing with RINO for many years at the Newmarket location and I have happily followed him to his new location in Richmond Hill. He is the most honest person I ever met and always maintains my vehicles safety for me and my family. I would 150% recommened him and Midas for their honesty, integrity and care. Wow! In an industry where people are always afraid of being 'ripped off', this shop is a model of integrity. I would have been the perfect mark to be taken advantage of but instead, Andrew and his staff went above and beyond. Happy to have found a mechanic we can trust!
These guys are awesome! My tailpipe on our Honda Odyssey came apart and was hanging and swaying making the car vibrate - we were in town for hockey and needed to get back to KINGSTON after the game - with little time to spare we called Midas after calling many Honda dealerships and none of them could help on a satarday- I drove over to Midas and within half and hour it was fixed at no charge! I would highly recommend this Midas shop as they are so honest and helpful - Thankyou Midas for keeping us on time and back in the road!
