Midland Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre - pt Health

Excellent first visit to work on a treatment for my lower back problem.
I was very impressed with the staff and professionalism.

I recently had a total hip replacement and my hospital team from Mackenzie Health in Vaughan recommended Midland pt Health. I was certainly not disappointed. The staff there were welcoming, knowledgeable and caring. From the front office staff (Kaitlyn and Brenda) who welcomed me and were flexible with scheduling my appointments; to the intake physio therapist (Tina) who assessed my my personal needs; to my day to day therapists (predominately Heather and occasionally Samantha) who worked with me on my exercises and provided me with a physio program which helped me to recover in a timely manner. Heather was sensitive to my needs and adapted the therapy to optimise my recovery. Thank you so much. Sarath did a final assessment and identified some areas that I need to continue to work on and provide me with some useful advice to further my recovery. Now that my sessions are over I continue to go to Midland ptHealth for massage therapy with the remarkable Michelle. She has a golden touch and continues to work with me to get out the pressure points which continue to nag me. She is magical.

needs. I am very confident that the staff will work with you in a caring and efficient manner to get you back into the best of health.

This clinic, while very friendly, provides no serious physiotherapy. No shockwave, no ultrasound to help with injuries. Excercise programs address post surgical recovery re hip replacement.

I was looking forward to this experience, But was so disappointed. My RMT spent more time talking than helping me. I didn't complain, I just got ripped off $67.80.
And just went home and now looking for someone professional to actually help me

After several different issues with neck and back pain PT Health was able to take me in and provide the right treatment and care.

Heather has help me get my knee working agaon after 2 surgeries she has given me excerises, I can do at home and at their office i am now walking without my cane. Great place to get physio for your knee's before or after surgery.just ask for Heather

After hip replacement came here for physio. Staff were courteous, professional and encouraging. Facility was clean. Appointments were timely.

Unprofessional. They left me unattended time and time again. I gave up after 2 visits, even though covered under OHIP.
Exercises were helpful

Clean facility. They were conscious of Covid so equipment was cleaned. Friendly staff. Wish they could have spent a little more time with me.

I had therapy here a couple years ago and most times I was left to do what. I would sit for many minutes after completing the exercise they gave me while they sat at the desk and chatted. Well here I am with my husband who has DDD and suffers from dementia, We were told our sessions were done yesterday after 5 sessions and one session with a gentleman. Well it was not enough to correct his issues enough for him to walk or stand confidently. He was sent home with exercises to do which will not really happen with his dementia. He will sit and do only a couple and not properly, he does not listen to me when I suggest he do it the way we were shown. I was told OHIP does not cover any more sessions but when I checked to see what they cover there is not any number of sessions covered by OHIP. We only went here as they are the only one in our area that does OHIP coverage. We are low income seniors and can not afford to pay for Physio, too bad as I think my husband would have been further along. Many of my friends have told me of the poor service there when they are going through OHIP. I agree with them. Now my husband will start to go backwards in his health again.

I had a very positive experience with Midland Physio.
I was able to get an appointment when I needed it.
I also was shown how to do the exercises at home leading to a faster
recovery. I highly recommend Midland Physio to everyone!

I had an assessment and instructions in exercises appropriate to me by Zakir at ptHealth - Midland at the end of August. He was successful in convincing me that if I was faithful in doing those exercises at home my complaint of hip bursitis would likely be relieved. After two more appointments plus my continuing adherence to exercising at home, I can now sleep pain free through the night and have more agility than I have had in years. I very much appreciate the service and advice of Zakir!

The staff is warm and knowledgeable. Appointment times are flexible to meet with your schedule.

The services provided by the physiotherapist and RMT were good. My only issues was that they made an error on the billing to my insurance company. They then informed me I would have to come back and pay them and then try to get the money from insurance company myself. The error was the billed an hour long massage for as 15 min.one. So I am having to go back and fourth with the insurance company to try to get reimbursed. The main reason I chose PT was they advertised direct billing so was very shocked that this happened.

PT Health is a fantastic place to get assistance recovering from any injury! I've been there for several different issues with my Mom, and every time the staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional. The facility is spacious and clean, and the exercises are challenging but rewarding, with the therapist there to help you every step of the way,

PT Health is very welcoming and accommodating for clients. Their massage therapist is excellent, she really listens to addresses client needs. I look forward to my weekly visits.

I was very pleased with Swavek's knowledge and experience. Each visit he added an exercise or two to my routine, which I continue today. The pain in my knee is greatly reduced and both knees are stronger because of the exercises. 100% pain reduction isn't possible because of arthritis.

I found pt MIdland physiotherapy to be a very friendly orientated place to heal.from the first day i went in, for my therapy, the girls managed to make each and every visit a very pleasant one, often chatting about dogs, food, lifestyle change and holidays.the exercises were well taught and every time I arrived I followed thru with them.when assistance was needed they were there to help me.the final part of the treatment would always very relaxing.with either HEAT or ICE to the part of the body being treated.can't beat that.would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing physio.

Love this place helped alot with my knee and shoulder pain would definitely recommend if you have any continuous pain
