I'm very happy about my treatment at Midtown. Dr. R is very knowledgeable and all the stuff are friendly and helpful. I came to Midtown by complete chance with an emergency before my holiday. To my surprise, Dr. R.immediately noticed a problem with my bite and suggested a solution that my previous orthodontist wasn't aware of. Ultimately, I decided to give it a shot and even though I haven't finished my treatment yet, the results already exceed my expectations.

I am so glad I chose midtown dental, because I always left with the happy and small thank you Dr. Ramlaggan.

I've been a patient for over 4 years now, and I commute 3 hours just to see Dr. Ramlaggan. Whether it's routine dental care or cosmetic procedures, he and his welcoming staff always ensure an exceptional experience. Midtown dental is a godsend…after several bad experiences at other dentists, Midtown has restored my faith that dentistry does not mean pain. I've been a client of Midtown Dental for more than 10 years; the staff has always been very professional and courteous. Dr Ramlaggan is hands down the best dentist I have dealt with. I have showed up a few times with emergencies and they have promptly resolved them. Highly recommended.

Dr. R and the rest of the staff are amazing! I had a dental emergency last year and they handled it professionally and with care. Not only was the problem handled, we came up with a plan to improve things for the future. I would totally recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a dentist.

Gloria was super helpful and made my recent visits more enjoyable (I needed new retainers). I also only see Zara for my hygiene appointments because she’s so great at calming my nerves. Alexia is always helpful at the front too!

Midtown Dental is a Life changing experience for anyone who has dental anxiety, has had a horrible, painful or terrifying experience with a dentist. I was unable to go into a dentist office with being sedated and was always extremely emotional from anxiety and fear. I was referred to Dr. R as I required extreme dental work on the entire row of my top teeth. Needless to say I was terrified and had not been able to smile with confidence in months. With the assistance of midtown Dental’s exceptional staff, excellent service, and amazing work. Dr. R and his team gave me back my smile and my confidence. Midtown Dental definitely lives up to their mission statement.

Quite pleased with them individually and looking forward to being able to upgrade my review for the fill office in future.

I've been attending Midtown Dental for a while now. My hygienist, Zahra, is excellent! She has always provided great feedback and education, which has really impacted my oral hygiene.

I had a consultation for a full mouth reconstruction with Midtown Dental Centre to get a quote. They charged me for the consult and I was told, the exact cost and treatment plan would be provided to me by the office manager in a couple of days. This consecutive appointment was delayed two times. When finally, I had my appointment with the office manager, she was unaware about the details. She just gave a flat final price without any treatment plan schedule, and promised she would get back to me with the treatment details regarding the number of crowns and veneers I needed. It has never happened. I contacted two other dental offices for the same reconstruction work. Neither of them charged for the initial consultation. One of them gave me detailed treatment plan suggestion on spot with a list of individual prices; the other emailed me a 5-page treatment plan a day after my free initial appointment. I chose one of them and my work is now completed to my satisfaction.
My impressions of Midtown Dental are very negative. It is a small office with a large staff lacking internal communication between employees and dentist. It is completely disorganized and certainly lacks customer appreciation to the degree of losing them.

I’ve been going to midtown dental for many years and despite me not always taking the best care of my teeth, they managed to keep them and smile the best they can be. In addition, everyone is always friendly and Alexia has always gone out of her way to chase down instances denials, appt conflicts etc I’ll be going here for many years to come!

I have been going to midtown dental for 20 plus years now. Dr. R. And his staff are amazing! They have always taken care of me. I no longer have stress or have anxiety about going to the dentist! I broke my crown last week and since I moved from Toronto it’s hard for me to get into the city often. They made time for me to replace the whole crown and do my cleaning in one visit so I don’t have to take another day off work to come in for that appointment. Alexia has always looked after me to make sure we maximize my visits to the office. I can not thank the whole team today for all that you did for me!

Midtown Dental is very thorough! I’ve been coming for years and they first helped me with a cavity, filling and a mouth guard and since then my teeth haven’t needed anything else, just regular cleanings - I am particularly thankful for Zahra who is so careful and diligent - she’s kept my teeth so clean and plaque free even though I don’t really floss regularly.

Great office staff, friendly environment, they make you feel welcome and are on top of everything. Highly recommend.

Took 3 appointments to do what my previous dentist did in one appointment, while charging 2.5 times what my previous dentist did, and making causing long waiting room waits during covid. The dentists and hygienists I saw were friendly and good but there needs to be more transparency around billing. They were unable to explain why they charge so much. They also forgot to submit half my claims to the insurance. I will be going back to my dentist where my parent live when I visit as it is cheaper and faster.

Where do I begin! This place has taken care of all my dental needs. Dr. R and his team helped me overcome my fear of the dentist. My most recent procedure was a gum graft with Dr. Zohar- great periodontist who I highly recommend. The procedure was easy and so was recovery. I encourage all to give them a try.

Had gone there for a while and always kind of felt the structure of the appointments was a bit of a money grab. Then I had an appointment cancelled when I showed up late because they said that they would need more time, which at the time I completely understood. When I went back for the rescheduled appointment I was kept waiting for 45 minutes when I went to leave they tried to stop me and said it wasn't a big deal and the appointment could still be squeezed in. I haven't been back since and I don't really think aside from the location there is anything special about this place.

Bc of covid 19.this place charges patients 20.00$ for the extra medical garment that they have to wear.which should be a business expense but they are pushing it on to customers. Both time I came in.the hygienist was super helpful, knowledgeable and did a good job with the cleaning. They will sell you things you don't need. I have 100 percent coverage however I ended up paying the $20.00 plus other fees. I called other dental clinics to see if they are charging this fee and looks like its only this clinic doing it. So I will need to find a new clinic.

Extremely poor experience with the receptionist. I had gotten a call from them and decided to come in for a second opinion. Told them I had a meeting and I was only free in a small window. Was asked to come in, and just made to wait. The extremely rude receptionist acted like she was doing me a favour. I wasted 40 minutes waiting then left as I had to get to a meeting.
The hygienist was nice and apologetic at least.
Don’t schedule patients if you don’t have the capacity to see them in a timely manner.

I'm honestly so happy to have walked into this amazing Dental Centre. The initial consultation with Alexia was very helpful and she accommodated me 100%. In fact I was so pleasantly surprised by their warm and professional service and office infrastructure. I have been going here for over eight years. This place is flat out the best. I started going because they were across the road from where I was working. I have stayed here for eight years despite no longer living nor working in the neighborhood because they continue to be the flat out best.

They advocate on my behalf with my insurance and when I don’t have extra insurance at whatever job I happen to be yet they work with me to create flexible payment plans and costs that suit my means. I will continue to be a long-term patient of this dental clinic.

If you are a newbie, better not to go here because they will not tell you anything and at the end of day, you might have to pay hefty amount which wont be covered in your insurance! Very bad experience. Also, very high prices and if you have 80% coverage, better look for any other dental clinic.

Very good service when I had an emergency broken tooth. Sadly dentures were needed but work was done fast and efficiently!

I have always been uncomfortable and worried about cleaning visits. However, Zahra makes it a pleasant experience for me. She's professional, dedicated and friendly. She keeps my concerns into consideration, offers options such as numbing gel for sensitive areas, provides tips to maintain healthy teeth and gums, and has pleasant conversations with me to make me feel comfortable. It's always a pleasure seeing Zahra.

Terrible experience. Dr. Ramlaggan is a complete maniac, a simple extraction for my wife turned into a 3 visit nightmare, he also has a bad superiority complex and lacks a professional attitude. I cannot speak for the other dentists at this practice but do yourself a favour and avoid the butcher of bloor street.

An absolute breath (no pun intended!) of fresh air amidst the immeasurable amount of dental care providers within Toronto. From the receptionist right up to the hygienists and surgeons, everybody in here is kind, caring, warm and welcoming. After almost a year between visits, they still somehow managed to remember my name! Each member of staff has a fabulous sense of humour and a gentle, inviting aura. I have been a patient at Midtown Dental for about 13 years now. I am a challenging patient as I demand the very best - much higher than Hollywood-smile-standards! - and that is precisely what I get at Midtown.

The team is really friendly and helpful (especially Alexia shines like a diamond with her patience, kindness & appearance), the practice is modern and clean (some fresh yellow flowers at reception will be nice!), and Dr. Vasant Ramlaggan exceptional highly skilled and qualified. He's also one of those rare dentists that not only give you the opportunity to discuss your concerns fully, he actually have the capacity to listen! & then apply extra care and attention to details.

A further bonus is the free parking as Midtown Dental validate your underground garage ticket, so no driving around the block and wasting time as we all know Toronto is now an anti-car city. Subway users will smile all the way as the station is right there in the same stylish shopping centre.

I will highly recommend Midtown Dental Centre and no, I don't get commission, their quality work speaks for itself. Where in the world do you find a dentist where you always feel BETTER (despite the high but reasonable price tag ~the very best never comes cheap) - when you leave vs when you arrive?
