My wife and I had both of our children monitored and tracked by Jinous, Maggie, along with their midwife students at the clinic. The whole team managed my wife's overall status and health with tremendous support, care, love and sincerity.
We are grateful and blessed to have been matched with this beautiful team that has beared witness to the beginning of our family.
Thank you dearly for everything you have done for us.

Thank you so much to the midwife alliance team and to Karen & Rebecca for the support in my first pregnancy. Karen was so helpful every step of the way and made me feel comfortable and supported though out pregnancy, labour, and post partum. They answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns, and helped me achieve my goal of a natural birth. I would recommend midwife alliance to any mother who wants the personalized care that OB’s don’t seem to have. I hope to have them deliver all of my children in the future.

4 stars because they reception is a bit slow at times and it’s sometimes hard to get them on the phone. But that is no fault of the midwives themselves.

Rebecca, Karen and Evelyn provided absolutely amazing care to me throughout my journey! Rebecca and Karen provided so much education during my prenatal visits. I always felt at ease! Rebecca and Evelyn were there for me during my labor! It was a crazy experience but i can’t imagine having anyone else care for me and my daughter. I don’t miss pregnancy but i will forever miss the amazing women at this clinic Thank you guys so much for taking care of me and my bundle of joy

After careful consideration of the pros and cons of OB vs midwifery care for our first child we decided to go the midwife route and are beyond happy with that choice.

Our midwives, Rebecca and Karen, provided exceptional care throughout pregnancy, birth, and after-care of both baby and mom postpartum. We prioritize science and evidence based decision making and found our midwives were always up to date on the most recent information (more so than our family doctors at times) which was a huge comfort. Their personalized approach allowed us time to ask questions throughout the journey, they were incredible advocates for us during the birth process when the hospital was short-staffed, and the home visits after birth were so much more convenient than packing up a newborn and driving across town while sleep-deprived. Thank you Karen and Rebecca for an incredible experience helping bring our son into this world! We will absolutely use midwife alliance again if we have other children.

The quality of care received from the midwives at Midwife Alliance is second to none. Could not imagine a better team to have brought our babies into this world. Anita, Mahnaz, and Abir are all incredible.

Bahja and Courtney were my midwives. My care at midwife alliance was amazing. I was listened to, my preferences were discussed and honoured to the best of their abilities. I had a beautiful home water birth with Bahja. I was able to birth the placenta how I was most comfortable, the cord was left intact until we decided it was time to cut it, it was spectacular. Thank you so much for making this birth so special it means SO much to me. I still think about it 3 months later and it makes me so happy. It was a quick, beautiful family centred birth. If I get pregnant again and still live within midwife alliance’s catchment I will definitely be back

I am extremely happy with the care that I received from Midwife Alliance. During my pregnancy I had the joy of being in the special care of Karen and Rachel. They are so warm, caring, and empathetic. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and made me feel comfortable to make my own informed decisions during my first pregnancy journey. I had planned to give birth naturally at the Toronto Birth Centre but unfortunately I had to give birth by emergency c-section 3 weeks early. I was really upset and terrified for all that I had planned was out the window. Thankfully, I had the best ladies right there by my side and they reassured me. Karen attended the hospital for my delivery and she was amazing every step of the way. Rachel checked up the morning after and I received post natal home care visits for 6 weeks. I am so thankful to have my firstborn’s experience with them and I will be returning for my 2nd child in the future.
Thank you so much Karen and Rachel! <3

The team at Midwife Alliance is excellent. They put the patient first throughout prenatal, labour and post-natal care. We were always able to ask every question on our mind without feeling rushed through appointments. The post-natal care at home was incredible; having the providers come to your home in those first weeks after birth is hugely helpful, and helped my partner and I gain confidence in how we were caring for our baby. Thank you to Mary, Sepideh, Rebecca, Ams and Emma for your amazing care!

I had both of my babies with midwives from Midwife Alliance. Caroline delivered my daughter in 2018 and Mahnaz and Anita were my midwives in 2022, with Abir assisting the delivery. Both were exceptional experiences, I felt supported in both deliveries and they both left me with positive experiences. Mahnaz was amazing, she was extremely knowledgeable, personable, patient and kind. I felt like I had known her forever by the end of my delivery. I can't thank everyone I encountered during my experiences enough. Thank you!

Abir, Emma and Mackenzie are amazing! Mackenzie is honest, open and hardworking. Emma is very informative, and makes you feel very comfortable right away. Abir is a baby birthing BOSS! She is knowledgable, incredibly experienced, comforting, and advocates on behalf of the mothers and babies in her care.
This team provides you with information when you ask for it, and helps you make the best possible decisions for you. I cannot say enough about these three amazing people!

I got accepted into the the care of midwife alliance in the beginning of my 2nd trimester. I was apprehensive of midwifery care as I had never experienced it before and also had moved to Canada recently. After the first meet and greet appointment with Mahnaz, I was assured that we had made the right decision. She was kind and listened to all my concerns patiently. I was assigned the team of Mahnaz and Anita (and Nicole). All of them were extremely caring and patient throughout my pregnancy. They always answered each and every question of mine with patience and clarity. I was always satisfied at the end of every visit. I got the right guidance for every doubt I had. All my anxieties and fears were put to rest as I placed my trust in them completely. The delivery process was conducted very smoothly by Anita at the hospital. She handled everything seamlessly and guided my husband in helping me labour. I would also like to thank Mary who joined in later on towards the end of my delivery. I had a smooth natural birth without any medical interventions all thanks to Anita and Mahnaz who advised me well. I would choose them over and over again for all of my pregnancies. The first week postpartum visit at home gave a personal touch and made things convenient for us as first time parents. I was able to heal quickly- both physically and emotionally due to the support of Anita, Mahnaz and Nicole. I will be ever indebted to them and would strongly recommend Midwife Alliance to anyone looking to have a carefree experience. Just place your trust in them and leave your worries behind.

The service at Midwife Alliance completely surpassed my expectations. Karen and Rachel were so accommodating even after registering 28 weeks into my pregnancy. Every two weeks I met with both ladies alternately, before birth and during postpartum. I’m in such awe of Karen and Rachel - both servicing me beautifully in unique ways. I’m so grateful specifically with an expired insurance as they did all they possibly could to assist me in ensuring that the process transitioned smoothly from ultrasound appointment to baby’s birth.

I’m utterly impressed by Karen and Rachel. I love and appreciate them as well as the company’s receptionist who is truly welcoming and efficient. Midwife Rebecca was also amazing for the moments I met her as well as Midwife Nazanin for checking in on me after giving birth.

My heart belongs to Karen and Rachel. I would wholeheartedly go another round if it meant being in their presence again. Thank you ladies for contributing in my safe delivery. Thank you to the founder for creating a safe haven for me to meet those lovely ladies️

Karen and Rachel were a blessing to have as my midwives. I cannot have had a better birth experience! They were extremely supportive of all my cultural traditions and genuinely cared for my opinion and consent. They never made me feel like I didn't have a say in decisions (which some doctors have made me feel that way in the past). Karen attended my birth and was so supportive and encouraging, it felt as if she was a part of my family and actually cared about me rather than just being any other medical practitioner doing their job. I pray that I will get to have her attend the birth of my second child when that time comes. Working with these midwives have made my pregnancy, labour and delivery, as well as my postpartum healing, a positive and empowering experience that I would not trade for anything else. If you're nervous about choosing midwife alliance for your pregnancy, you can rest assured you're in the best hands and I do hope you get to work with Karena and Rachel. They were truly amazing!

I don’t know from where to start to describe how wonderful my team has been! Abir, Emma and Mackenzie have been absolutely wonderful in taking care of my pregnancy, me and later my baby! They really felt like as part of my family! From the initial appointments up to the postpartum care everything has been perfect and I couldn’t have asked for better!

When I joined midwife alliance I was a newcomer without health-card and I had a lot of worries about my pregnancy which were all gone the minute I attended my first appointment with Emma. She’s been absolutely lovely in all the appointments as she’s always put all my anxieties to sleep by patiently explaining everything to me.

The birth process was very very smooth with Abir who was very knowledgeable, patient and caring throughout. She really knows her job very well and her skills are impressive! She was very calm even where the situation was very pressuring and challenging! Mackenzie has been very supportive and encouraging during the process and has done a wonderful job stitching me up! I cannot thank her enough for all the late nights phone calls she answered to deal with all my concerns. I simply love her vibe and her energy which were really the icing on the cake!

I definitely recommend midwife alliance especially all three ladies in my team! Can’t wait to return for my next pregnancy!

Won't be repeating. I felt like our team was completely disorganized. They never checked urine. Thier approach was to "wait for doctor records" even after telling them the clinic we have was disorganized.

In the end we suffered stillbirth at 21wks. It was mostlikely preventable based on speaking to specialists. Just a UTI that we had a history of but no one did checkups.

I don't blame the midwives, I just think they kind of never cared and never checked up. However, in the future we will be going with obgyns.

I can't say enough great things about Midwife Alliance. From my very first pregnancy I had the amazing support, guidance and reassurance of the amazing team of Mahnaz and Jinous. With their years of experience and the comforting support they provided I was able to get through the fears and challenges that a first pregnancy, labour and delivery bring. While it did not go as smoothly as anticipated, I still was so very glad I went this route. There were so many fears for this first time mom but Jinous was amazing at supporting me at every appointment and follow ups. Mahnaz was equally amazing with the experience and support to me while delivering my baby. These two ladies are blessed with a gift for helping bring babies into this world!

I had such a good team the first time that my husband and I did not think twice about who we wanted to have as part of the experience again for our second baby. Unfortunately my dream team of Mahnaz and Jinous was now split and Mahnaz was unavailable for my baby's due date. However, Jinous was available and I could not have been happier. She was the most supportive and understanding midwife (more like family) you could ask for. She was there for me every step of the way, after hours and beyond! She knew how much I wanted her to be there for me and she accommodated me. She guided me through labour and showed up for my delivery even though she was not on call at the time! I had my second baby unmedicated and without major complications with her by my side. Her student intern, Emma, was a great support as well. She was professional, supportive and made me feel comfortable. I never hesitated having her as part of my team. Pregnancy, labour, delivery and postpartum during a pandemic made for a challenging and unique experience but Jinous and Emma did a great job at helping me through it all.

I highly recommend Midwife Alliance, as far as my experience goes. An amazing team of midwives and staff.

I was with Disha and Carmi and Carmi was great and very helpful. Disha delivered my daughter and did not check for tongue tie. When I went back for a post partum visit weeks visit expressing concerns about my daughter's feeding and constant fussiness, Disha didn't offer any help or advice and still did not check her. Finally, after seeing a lactation consultant, it was discovered that my daughter had an anterior tongue tie that caused her alot of gas which lead to colic. It was also the cause of weeks of cluster feeding and my milk supply decreasing. I told DIsha this in our appointment right after and she claimed that she had checked in the hospital and that it must be a posterior tongue tie. She still didn't check inside my baby's mouth to confirm.

This is my second baby and I had not gone with a midwife the first time. While I remember breastfeeding and newborns being hard, I also know that had I not gone with a midwife, I would not have had the last 4 weeks of a constant uncomfortable or hungry baby that couldn't be put down ever, and the struggle of trying to recover my milk supply. I DO NOT recommend Disha as a midwife.
