Loved our midwives, Jill and Krista! Absolutely recommend having your pregnancy followed by midwives if you are able. The ones here are top notch! Kind, caring, respectful, professional!

I absolutely loved working with the midwives at this practice. They were super kind, knowledgeable and supportive. From my first appointment to my final one 6 weeks post partum, I felt like I wasn’t alone through out my pregnancy journey. They were flexible with meeting times given my busy work schedule and were very proactive with my care. I had a health issue and they were so fast to connect with an OB but never stopped supporting me. Even after I had my baby, they provided referrals to a lactation consultant which was super helpful.

This was my first pregnancy and the care and support I received was really great. Mai, Shay, Kelly and Mariana all gave excellent care to me and my baby. I also had the help of Mary Ann and Andrea during my labour and they were wonderful. Very kind and compassionate midwives, and they are very qualified and highly skilled. Even my mom who had midwives for her births said she had not seen such good midwives as these were. I definitely recommend!

I couldn’t tell how grateful I am to have my midwives (Wendy, Krista, Carolina) and all the staffs (Angelica, Mary and others) at Midwifery Care NDRV with me throughout the journey of my pregnancy, labour and delivery and postpartum. I am mom of three. This time was my 3rd pregnancy. I chose
midwives for my last two times at a different clinic. I chose this one this time because my original was full.

I always like midwife service than OB because the waiting time is reasonable and they always spend time to look after the patient. I had three midwives this time plus a student. They were all really caring and professional.

My delivery also went really smoothly. Thank you to my midwife team. They supported me with every single contractions. My husband and I were struggling to choose between stay at the hospital or go home right away our midwife also explained the con and pro so we could make our decision confidently.

They also came to my house two to three times after my baby was born for checkup. Although I am mom of three already. They still taught me some new stuff I didn’t know before.

We had a wonderful experience with midwives for our first pregnancy. Our midwives, Jill and Krista, were amazing! Their attention to care, consideration for me and our child, patience in answering questions, and professional reassurance was wonderful. In particular, the 3 in-home visits during the first week of postnatal care was great. I wholeheartedly recommend them, and will be going with them as my midwives for all pregnancies.

I highly recommend! I received incredible care throughout my pregnancy. Although complications changed my birth plan, my wishes were always respected and I was able to avoid a transfer of care.

Shout out to my main Midwife Maimoonah Ali. I had a very postive birthing experience and been so blessed to have her as my midwife. She's been very helpful and informative during my pregnancy appointments. On my delivery day she was soothing me through contractions like a sister. She was very quick at analyzing situation and taking actions as needed at the hospital. She made me feel as if I was her family member and took care of me like that even though she was fasting on my delivery day. She is our birth angel and we've been blessed to have her deliver our baby girl

Delivered my second baby again with North Don River Valley Midwife and the experience has been nothing short of amazing, especially during this COVID time. Had a chance to have Mary Ann, Karen and student Jill as my midwives and they were all fantastic to have as midwives. From the first meeting, to the delivery and post partum -They were all warm, reassuring, and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They were so supportive during the birthing experience and even after - am super thankful to have had a great experience

Wendy was our midwife for both of my wife's pregnancy's and she was absolutely AMAZING! Very supportive, kind and knowledgeable. Wendy and her colleagues made the entire pregnancy, labour and newborn care as worry-free as possible.

I delivered my son with Wendy. She was like angel by my side. I could not ask for better labour experience, I am sure most of it was due to the way she handled my situation. My water broke and everything got complicated form then but she managed it to be stress free and natural for me. She greeted me the minute I stepped into the hospital. She literally took every step with me around the hospital floor counting my contraction.
Her professionalism and knowledge and passion throughout my pregnancy was remarkable. With my two midwifes (Wendy and Liz), I had the peace of mind that I have professional advice one phone call away every minute of the day in the case of emergency or if any question arises. For sure I’ll back to them for the next one.

This review is long overdue! We want to share the amazing experience that we had with the Midwifery Care - North Don River Valley. Krista and Avni were our midwives back in 2018-2019. They were both amazing throughout the process of my pregnancy and helped reassure my fears (me being a first-time mom). On the day of the delivery, Cynthia and Avni were there with me at the hospital and were super supportive throughout the entire delivery process. Even though it was a long delivery and I was in a lot of pain, they were always there, working tirelessly and helping me through the many painful contractions. I felt very supported every single step of the way. After we delivered our baby boy, Avni and Krista were super helpful in coaching me at breastfeeding (which was incredibly tough) and were very thorough in making sure our baby was healthy. They answered all our questions and gave us incredible support as we transitioned to parenthood. Also, we want to give a big shout out to the wonderful administrative team - both Jan and Victoria! They are amazing! They are always so friendly and made every visit a pleasant one! Thank you Midwifery Care - North Don River Valley!

I highly recommend the North Don River Valley midwifery care. Krista was my main midwife and the care that I received during pregnancy and delivery was amazing.

While I was pregnant with my second child I went with Midwifery Care North Don River Valley. Mary Anne and Wendy were my midwives.

I was a little nervous initailly because my first appointment was at around 13 weeks, so prior to that I hadn’t been seen by a physician or anything but once I met with my midwives it was all fine!

They took care of me very well, they answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. They were very informed about everything and requested all of my tests, they were as thorough (if not more) than my family doctor which cared for me during my first pregnancy.

Wendy even prepared me for possible complications after the birth of my second. She was well prepared and handled everything expertly.

For my third child I knew I had to work with the Midwives again and it has been a pleasure once again. I was lucky enough to be assigned the same pair of midwives.

My baby was born mid April and because of Covid-19 I was a little hesitant to deliver in the hospital. We changed plans close to the last minute and decided to have a home birth.

Wendy actually had the day off when I called but still came to deliver the baby in the middle of the night with help from a secondary midwife.

Everything was handled wonderfully and expertly and the experience was so incredible.

Even better was the home visits after the baby was born. Who wants to lug around a newborn anyways? They came to check on the baby and myself after three days and one week postpartum.

I would highly recommend this practice and send endless thanks to the Midwives for all they do and all the amazing women who work in the office!

I am so glad I made the choice to join the midwives care during my pregnancies. My midwives were very knowledgeable, supportive and caring. I am very grateful to Wendy and Angela that delivered my kids and to the whole team. Thank you NDRV midwives!

My experience with NDRV Midwives was truly one I will never forget. It was never really my plan to have the help of midwives during pregnancy. I always thought a doctor and hospital were my only options. Boy, was I wrong and extremely happy I was. My midwives, Michelle and Avni, were so great and helped me understand all my options and their care was wonderful. They answered all my questions, reassured me when I was doubtful, and just made me feel at ease. They helped me so much during my pregnancy and especially after with nursing and helping me immediately postpartum. The reception staff was also so kind and very quick to answer questions, reschedule appointments, etc. Combined it was a truly wonderful experience and I will definitely be having a midwife with my next pregnancy!

The best experience an expecting mother can expect! I only wish I had used a midwife in my earlier pregnancies but unfortunately there’s not enough education out there about the benefits of using a midwife. Both my primary midwife (Wendy Wong) and secondary midwife (Rivki Meldung) were incredible. All appointments ran on time and were never rushed. Delivery was amazing as I got to deliver with the midwives that cared for me all throughout my pregnancy as opposed to whichever doctor is in call. The only people in the birthing room are your midwives (no extras). I delivered at a hospital and was able to go home within several hours after delivery which is an enormous benefit. And post-partum care is incredible as my midwife made visits to MY home several times within the first couple of weeks in order to check the health of the baby AND the mother. Overall amazing experience, I could not recommend them enough!

Andrea and Krista were my rocks during one of the most stressful and invigorating times of my life. I credit them for helping me have my baby safely and with informed choice. I credit them for helping me realize my own strength during labour and as a new mom. And I credit them for helping me navigate the uncharted waters of breastfeeding and general postpartum.  I will always be grateful to these wonderful women and their team, who helped bring our healthy baby boy into this world.

Our daughter is 8 months old now and we are still extremely grateful for the staff at North Don River Valley Midwifery Care. We felt so blessed to have had their support with the additional access to the healthcare resources they provided, the midwife science and magic they performed and the additional knowledge and expertise on how to care for our baby after she was born. The 2 weeks (?) of care they provided after delivery reassured us that we made the right decision to go with them. If we have a second child, we will definitely be employing their services again.

Highly recommend North Don River Valley Midwifery care. Cynthia and Wendy were my midwifes, they were very supportive. Cynthia is just awesome, the way she held my hip during labor helped more than epidural. She is well experienced. Post natal care was very helpful, first 2 weeks Cynthia visited us regularly and made sure baby and I are doing good. Totally satisfied with the service.

I had one of the best experiences of my life by choosing midwifery care. The midwives at North Don River Midwifery Care are the most caring, attentive and supportive group of women. Choosing this clinic made the experience of having my first child the most rewarding. Throughout my entire pregnancy, birth, and after care, I always felt supported and listened to. Re: Are you sure that fever is not symptom of pregnancy?

Feeling warm or flushed can be a symptom ofpregnancy. Changes in the body during pregnancy can cause similar symptoms to those that accompany a fever. (Medical news)

We went to this place today and they asked my wife to have a fever and she said "yes". One of early pregnancy symptom is a little bit of fever. They insist my wife has Corona varus because they have not enough knowledge of symptoms. I don't know there midwives are good, but people who work at reception are horrible. If you plan to visit here, don't say "i have a fever". You will come back after a week.h

I attend prenatal appointments regularly with my daughter. I read a review by a person who was frustrated that reception staff asked her to reschedule her appointment when she identified that she had symptoms of illness (fever). Personally I was very happy to hear that there are procedures and protocols in place to protect the pregnant women and newborn babies who attend the clinic daily. Thank you to reception staff for taking steps to protect your clients. That is reassuring and so necessary with the vulnerable clients you serve. Keep up the good work!

It was my first pregnancy and Im SUPER GLAD I chose Michelle and her team. Michelle, Maya and Andrea were all very encouraging and patient with us for the whole experience. They gave us lots of time during appointments for questions and were very reassuring and encouraging during my labour and delivery. I was comfortable with them. I love how the first two baby visits were at our home, looking back, I can't imagine having to take our newborn out in the first week. They're very professional and if I have a second baby, I'm coming back!

The team here is absolutely amazing. I didn’t even consider going with a midwife until someone from my husband’s work suggested it and I am so glad I made the choice to join their care. The midwives are very knowledgeable and always make sure that they provide you with all the information you need to make a decision that meets your individual needs when it comes to labour, birth and postpartum. Absolutely no wait times before appointments and each appointment is about an hour long and as a first time mom I found it so helpful as it gave me a chance to ask the million questions I had. My labour, birth and postpartum experience would have been nowhere as smooth as it was had it not been for the constant care, nurturing and encouragement from my midwives. If you’re on the fence about midwifery care for your pregnancy, do not hesitate, you are in very capable hands.

In short, choosing to have my wife and my twins under midwifery care was more than well worth it.
It wasn't easy pregnancy for my wife, but they made such efforts above and beyond expectations, we can't imagine how it would have it been if we did not choose their service. Since we had twins, my wife was under shared care by both midwife and obstetrician. Obstetrician could only see us for 10-15 min max and each visit was rushed, also waiting often more than 1 hr. Compared to that, our visits to midwives were 30 min + and they weren't rushed at all. They took time to listen to our concerns and answered all our questions.
Throughout the visits, we felt we were genuinely cared for, and now we strongly recommend those who are planning or are pregnant to consider midwifery care. Even as a husband and a dad, i felt my wife and my babies had a good support, and i was not worried.

I can not even put into words how wonderful Wendy is. Honestly, there is not enough I can say about this wonderful person who puts so much of herself into her career. When I delivered my first child via midwife, I was nervous about switching from an OBGYN and Wendy easily quelled any concerns about the processes and proved how much better for me having a midwife was! She has always been professional and thorough in meetings and appointments and has always made herself readily available for my questions and concerns. Wendy is always incredibly patient and kind, from when I’ve had to bring the older children to appointments, to the times I’ve paged her with the simplest questions, there has never been an ounce of annoyance on her part. She remembered the little details about my preferences and birth plans without having to be reminded constantly. Wendy is always quick to follow up on questions or with test results and as an expecting and worried mother, that is so refreshing and calming for her patients. She is definitely an amazing midwife and such a true credit to those in the midwifery profession.

Michelle, Avni and Hilary were skilled, knowledgeable, dedicated and compassionate caregivers who worked with us for 9 months and supported us with prenatal, delivery and post partum care. They knew when to refer us to additional care providers (ob-gyn) when needed and were patient and thorough with our questions and individual needs. I wish the entire health care system were ran by midwives - it would be a much better experience in accessing health care.

I had a very great first experience at NDRV. Every time I came for my appointments the staff at the front always greeted me kindly. My main midwife was Hana Lang and my back up was Liz Cates. They were both very respectful and delightful towards me. Hana was very profressional and displayed good work ethics. I am astonished with how Hana effectively executed the steps she took towards delivering my baby girl! High five once again. She has a funny/bubbly personality that would always put me in a good mood. My second midwife was very pleasant and always gave me reassurance. She also answered my questions thoroughly. This was my second birth and the best one by far. I wish them nothing but success and hope to see them again for baby #3!

I just had my first child and cannot say enough about how positive my experience with the NDRV team was! From my first appointment, I felt at ease and supported. The midwives were (obviously) very knowledgeable, and always took the time to explain everything in detail, responding to any and all questions with patience and consideration. They provided me with tons of information about the various options throught my pregnancy, but were very respectful of my preferences. Amazing responses to concerns that popped up, including rapid referrals when needed. I can't imagine having gone through the whole process (especially the labour and delivery) without my midwifery team!

We were going to have our first baby and were really scared of how to go about in this new country. Based on availability and reviews, we enrolled with them and it was one of the best decisions.

Krista & Mary Ann were always there, answering the silliest of questions, round the clock availability, letting us take informed decisions and most importantly did not treat us as patients. Their guidance helped us enjoy this period.

Towards the end, we rushed to the hospital in an emergency but even after transfer of care, they still were around with the doctors at odd hours just to make us feel comfortable. Post delivery support was just the icing on the cake.

We never felt rushed during the appointments which used to be for 45 min mostly, they were always accommodative of our requests and in general the staff was very polite and efficient.

I have had very positive experience with NDRV midwifery care – one of my best experiences with healthcare professionals as far as I recall.
All the staff I met was awesome and easy to deal with. It was easy to make / reschedule appointments. They were always on time - longest waiting time 10 min.
My midwifes were Hana Lang (primary) and Andrea Levy (backup). They were both very professional, knowledgeable and caring.
During prenatal and postnatal visits, they referred me to all necessary tests and examinations, explained results, following steps and all options, answered all my questions and provided with a lot of useful information. I was feeling more and more confident after seeing them.
Close to labour I had cold symptoms and was in pain. And I was reaching out to Hana a lot to describe what was happening. Hana would answer my paging either immediately or within 5 min – be it day or night. The night of the labour Hana was on the phone with me often and timed perfectly when to go to a hospital. She arrived there the same time as us and at the hospital everything was ready: paperwork done and birthing suite ready. I couldn’t wish for a better experience than I had there. Through lengthy labour and delivery Hana was closely monitoring, explaining what’s happening, working with hospital staff when needed (shout-out to NYGH - thank you!). At the same time Hana expressed confidence, warmth and care as a close person would do. I felt very comforted. Andrea came close to delivery even though she had a flight to catch later the day.

I appreciate the care and love ️ offered by Hana Lang to my spouse who had a life threatening pregnancy. I felt very confident in her care and I can't thank her enough. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

As first time parents we were not sure what to choose between OB and Midwives, so we listened to some relatives recommendation and chose to have our prenatal care and delivery with Midwives. This was the most wonderful decision we could have ever made. Our midwives were Avni, Michelle and Misol, we had the privilege to learn from all of them during the pre-natal controls, and yes, everything you hear about the care is true, more time, more friendly, more information etc, it was great and we were happy. But our baby came one week before schedule and is in this part of the process where you can really tell the difference this practice makes, how they approach to you, to advise, to guide you, to answer all your hundreds of questions in stressful moments, always providing an explanation an alternatives. On the delivery day our midwives were all of them off (holiday and sick), as they mentioned during one of the sessions it was very unlikely for that scenario to happen and we were worried about having to meet someone at last time, again, we were surprised and beyond. Wendy and Krista came to attend, they very quickly got to know us and provided all the assistance we needed. I have only thanks to give, our first baby girl birth was probably one of the most precious moments in my life and I cannot think of a single thing that went bad. Not a single thing! Even though nothing was as planned for the delivery day (is very unlikely to have things as planned on this business lol) the care provided by this clinic is amazing, I will definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about it, don't think and go with them. Thank you again and if we decide to have another baby will definitely meet you again. The front staff is great as well always willing to accommodate or help you schedule things at their best. There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to the team at North Don River Valley. I was lucky enough to get Hana as my primary midwife and Andrea as my backup. Hana and Andrea always took the time at my prenatal visits to answer my questions and discuss options with me, giving me the tools to make safe, informed choices over my care. Going through labour and delivery was the most intense experience of my life, but Hana gave me the strength to get through it. The postnatal care (including home visits and phone calls) pulled me through the first month and a half of motherhood. It's one thing to deliver a baby, but another thing entirely to empower new parents. Thank you so much, Hana and Andrea!

My midwives were Liz and Krista! They were both considerate, accomodating, and always quick to respond back. I felt very comfortable the day of my son's birth and knew I was in great hands. They've set the bar really high for other medical practitioners. Look forward to going back to them for baby #2 next year!

I had an amazing experience at NDRV. This was my first pregnancy and I feel like it went really smooth overall. I had Mary An and Hana as my midwives and they were AMAZING! They made me feel comfortable. Hana became like a close friend to me towards the end of my pregnancy. During my labor and delivery Hana and Mary an we’re both patient with me and didn’t rush me into a c-section even though I wasn’t dialating at the end I had a vaginal birth to a healthy baby and I couldn’t be happier for a greater outcome. I honestly hope that I can have them as my Midwife’s again for my next pregnancy

Krista and Cynthia, my midwives were amazing during my whole pregnancy and Krista was there for me the whole time during labour even though it didn't went as planned, but I knew the whole time that I was cared of. It was super awesome to know that you can always call and get help or advice not only during your pregnancy but even after. I highly recommend ndrm to all parents to be.
